Finally something for myself!

After almost non-stop shopping and buying things for the muffin, even during the recent online Old Navy / Gap spree organized by my sis, 3/4 of the items were for muffin. I only ordered 2 tops, 1 pants, 1 jeans and 1 capri for myself. And tat's coz I really am running out of things to wear!

While on the other hand, our lil' muffin's wardrobe is growing and expanding! Way faster than we can even do the washing (not that we started) but I have a feeling that we probably need 2 washes in our 8kg machine to finish all!

But finally today, when out on another window shopping trip, I finally finally bought something for me, myself at the mall!

A HOBO Sling bag from United Colors of Benetton! $53 after sale at Taka! Very colorful and cheerful isn't it?

And with the still-small-but-expanding-belly, I need new underwear for home wear. Haven already outgrown those for going out long ago but now need new ones for home too and I managed to get some today for myself too.

Then recently, we've gone ceramic! Ceramic Knifes! We saw the promoter demonstrating the knifes and we're sold. The guy actually used the knife to cut thru a piece of ROLL-UP cloth and the bit just came off without any threads coming loose! And even when cutting onions, he don't tear. What proves that was, he held the cut onions about 1 cm away from his eye and really. NO tears! And he said fruits will not oxidize as fast as normal steel knifes.

We've bought the orange knife (the small green knife came free) and we've tried cutting our veggies and fruits. Woah. Cut so smoothly! And even when de-seeding apples, the middle don't oxidize as fast! I know coz I used a steel knife to de-seed 1 side and the ceramic knife for the rest. And then we compare. REALLY lei!

And so, we bought the ceramic peeler as well so that fruits that I de-skin will not oxidize so fast too. Perfect when I bring fruits to office!

So, we've gone ceramic in our kitchen knifes. And I think it's a worthwhile investment!
