More LOOT!!!

Went to the Hub again, but this time after work on Thursday. Coz I was in a lousy mood and I do know retail therapy will cheer me up. Even though, in the afternoon, Irene and I had gone to J8 to hunt for a clutch bag for myself, still my mood was lousy...

Morever, Hubby was supposed to be meeting his friends so I thought I can tapow dinner... But anyway, he called me halfway and I bought dinner home for him too... and guess what?

As I was walking aimlessly along, in search of the shawl that I will need for tomorrow's dinner, I walked into this store "Ella" and checked out my purchases! Gosh!!! I manged to get my shawl all right. In fact, I got more than that! I got 2 shawls, 2 pairs of long pants, 2 pairs of 3/4 pants and 1 skirt! I reached the store at about 10 mins pass 7, I think. But when I left, it was 8++pm. I really wanted just to get a brown shawl... but somehow, I saw their pants and the sales was really good. She can recommend me cuts that fits and flatter my elephant tighs. =) I kept trying and trying mann....

The happiest thing was that, I can actually fit into 'S' or 'M' for the various cuts! Just how cool is that!!!

Anyway, total damage was about $224... =P But I'm happy and that's the important thing right?

Oh.. the bronze clutch bag is from Charles and Keith, not Ella.

Then, on Friday, I was on half day, coz I went to submit my projects too SIM personally... then went to meet Hubby in town. Had lunch in Food Republic... (we very sua ku, first time there that day!)

Went down to Tangs (they were having 12% off!) and got hubby a belt.To wish him well in his new job, to thank him for the late nights that had to stay up to help me with my project. And... I got these for myself! Well, not all are for myself. Just the 2 white bottles are mine, the red tube thingy is for my mom. Her's Bday round the corner. SO since there's 12% rebate... Buy first! =) And of course the box is for Hubby - His belt.

Just 4 little items here and I'm $200 poorer... A Night Loton and a tube of blemish treatment for myself and... =( $$$ fly...But THEN my clarins... it came with a truckload of free gifts!!! =D

Tell me, which girl can resists all these???! I currently have some body cream, some cleanser, tonner, eye make up remover, lotion, creams and I seriously cannot remember what else! Oh yes, the sales gave me 3 bottles of something for hubby to try as well, those in the men's colour - blue boxes. I cannot remember what hubby has too. hahaha..

While taking a break at Coffee Club in Taka, enjoying my peach smoothie and sharing a mud pie with hubby, I was once again lamenting and thinking about COACH and Camera... =( But finally, we decided to go ahead and buy it!

This got to be my happiest purchase for this whole day!

A red Sony T100! Super chio right?!

It came with the 512MB memory card as well as a casing...

I thought then I will have 2 512 MB card. Then it turned out that the standard box does NOT include any memory card at all! Chey... So the card that I was given is just nice to slot in leaving me with no extra memory card nor a giantanic memory power... Chey....

Anyway, I pestered Sam of John 3:16 to give me a tripod as well and he did! =)

I must say the guys there are really cool and fun to talk to. So, if you need to look for any camera items, be it weather you are Pro or just a "point and shoot" user like me, pop down to John 3:16 before making up your mind!

They are located at Funan IT Mall, Level 5. Sure to find them, but I cannot remember the unit number! hahahaha

Then went down to Clarke Quay to take a walk and to test out the new camera, Wise called me sharing with me another happy news... Since this news involved my godchild... I shall wait till the parents themselves announced before I say anything.

Not bad at all right?! Told you all that my Motorola V3i going to erm... you know right? I was aiming for the Sony Ericson W880i... but I have no use for the features that comes with the phone.

hmmm.... Not quite right.

After rushing off from work to class yesterday, I still somehow managed to squeeze in some precious minutes to go to the Hub. Just because, the Godma has told me over sms (and msn) that there is a dress that will suit me very well for the D&D next week.

Literally cheong to the specific store, try on and I think ok, not fanastic, but nevertheless, grapped and paid for it.

Armed with this little black bag,(what's with these stores anyway huh? how come suddenly all seem to be giving away these kind of bags with purchases? Not that I don't like. But hello... buy clothes lei, give this kind of bag not as though I will store my cloth in the bag after washing right? Give me this kind of bags when I purchase my bags sounds more like it! Anyway... that aside. I cheong again, this time to school.

Class was ok. As usual, distracted by Mer, the cold air and the uncomfortable chair in the silly LT. -_-"

Reached home and immediately, Hubby said, "Let's go for dinner." Ok lor.. Since he haven't eat and I did say if he have not eat when I come home, we go down to eat. But I was pretty full. I had dinner for a change! hahaha...

Came back up with a stomach bursting of food and din wanna bathe immediately, and I thought I will show Hubby my dress... but we both sat down to work on my video clips.. to be handed in eeeks!! TOMORROW! argg....

Can you imagine?! From 11pm, we sat side by side to do this silly video thing till almost 2am!!!

Finally completed, both of us were soooo tired. And I still have 1 more video to do tonight. =/ Then I remembered my dress again!

Hubby can't be bothered with me anymore. He stepped into the bathroom and I began clicking away at my dress! Nice?! Not bad hor? =)

But hor... When I tried it on again to show hubby, somehow I myself don't really like it.

Yar. Then the million dollar question. "Then why did I buy it?"

I don't really know.... Impulse purchase lorrrrr....

Remember I was saying that I think I din do very well for my other TMA?

Well, it turned out that I did much better than I thought I will!

Got back the results today, Mer actaully msn me early in the morning to tell me that the results are out and he even called me to guide me thru the steps to retrieve it! hahahaha.. Tks for Mer!!

Best part, when I got my results, I got a 64! (out of 100 lar!) WOAH! Beyond my imagination.

I fully expect to be sitting at the lowest end of that silly bell curve again. But I think.. I should be somewhere in the upwards or downwards slope of that bell curve. Don't really care which side of that slope, as long as not at the 2 ends!

Yay!!! This sort of make up for that sucky group based TMA.

The first TMA that we handed in and got back, my group and I failed. ='(

The second TMA that the tutor hinted to us the grades but have not got back, agian, I'm at the bottom of the class. =(

After the afternoon of boring lesson, after the evening out with the guys to discuss the TMA, I'm still currently working on the individual project.

Studying is really no joke mann....

I'm home alone...but not for long.

Came home not too long ago after my silly and bo liao lesson in Sim about an hour ago.

Hubby was not home to welcome me =( coz he has gone to his 5th aunt's place for some sort of gathering. I would have join him if I'm not meeting some of the friends to do have a round of TMA discussion. =( Waiting for 1 of them to call me and come to fetch me. I've no idea where they are going to do the discussion. I heard something like Serangoon Gardens, Mac. Again, no idea where or why must go there lor. Serangoon Gardens, I only know of Chomp Chomp. Got Mac meh??? =S

Not that I must stick close to hubby all the time. Just that it's such a sad thing to have to spend the greater part of Saturday away from each other. We hardly get to meet and spend time together on weekdays, with work and now studies. It's worse to have to spend Saturday in school and then TMAs and don't know what else. Really quite depressing at this kind of times.

Then the whole of this weekend, (I'm assuming) that I will have to spend a good deal of my time doing reports, presentation slides to get ready for the video shoot on Tuesday evening. Which I am worrying my head off for the time being. But then again, ONCE after this silly video thing is over, I hopefully will be able to relax abit more and find some time to be with hubby.

The good news is that once after Friday, give me 2 more weeks where I have to juggle 2 more TMA's to be handed up, then I only have class once a week and then really, I can manage my time better.

So far, this current term in this sem has really been tiring. But I'll just take it that coz it's my first sem back to school after such a long time, my body, brain and strength is just trying to get into the system hence all this tiredness.

What can be better than this?

You know when they say a woman has never enough clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery and whatever else that is related to make a woman pretty?

And recently, some kind of fettish has kind of caught hold of me!

Was at Bishan J8 after work earlier to meet up with my insurance agent, need to pass her a cheque for 1 of the policy and she had something to show and talk to me, so I waited for her... But gosh.. She was SO late. Came almost 40mins later than the orginal time... So what did I do??? Walked around lor.

I wanted to get a simple card holder for my cards but found nothing that I really like. There was something suitable in the Mens' section but erm... too man for me I feel. Hence, I shall continue my search.

My legs brought me to Charles and Keith and...this is what happened within 10 mins. =)

Actually, I only tried the pair in dark brown. But once my legs were fully secured inside, it was so comfy I decided I had to try the other pair in beidge as well!

Nice wan lor!So I walked away with 2 pairs in the same design! =)

Finally when my agent came, we met up in Mac. She took the cheque and gave me some more documents asking me to read thur if I'm interested, call her. Chatted for a while and the she left.

The best bit of the whole thing was that, before I left Mac, I saw Bev! (Hubby's ex colleague!) Of course we catch up with each other. Guess what? She's interested in enrolling into Uni SIM!!! Hahaha.. What a nice surprise. If she comes, then I have another friend studying there too! Goody Goody!!! Though we may not be doing the same course, same modules, but still having another friend there is like encouragement ma!

And she also say the same thing, having me there sort of motivates her to enroll! Hahaha... She was still thinking to enroll or not to enroll but after chatting with me, she decided she will do it early next week! Hooray!!

Not bad right? God's plan. For my agent to be late, then to bump into Bev and I actually go and call her. She's not my friend to begin with ma, Hubby's ex colleague lei!

When I came home with my tapowed dinner, hubby was surprised that I took so long to reach home coz when he called me at about 10 mins past 7, I told him, I was done, will be heading home soon. And it took me another 1.5 hours just to reach home. -_-" But when I told him I was chatting with Bev, his comment, "Wah!! My friends all like become your friends lei! I don't even chat that long with them!" hahahaha.... well... Darling... now you know... Now you know! hahaha...

This time round, no sausages for me. Instead, THIS!
Botak's Fish and Chips! It's not your usual fish and chips. Their tatar sauce is soooo good, I finished every single drop that was on my plate! And, the fish is not eaten with the usual chili and tatar, but with Malt Vinegar as well!

My verdict?! Fish and Chips will never taste the same again! Go on down to Botak if you have not gone and try it yet!

Trying hard to work on my individual projects to be handed in next Friday. Din manage to do much and finding it so hard to concentrate and really to sit down and do the projects. =(

Just feeling as though that I still have loads of time when I actually don't!!! Yet, finding it so hard to sit down and work on it. hai...

Reading thru different contracts to get an idea on how to start... I've only just typed in the headings and that's it!!!

Really need to work harder than this.

I recently bought these during an online spree...

女人我最大Shimmering Pearl Eyeliner in White and Pink.Supposed to look like this after application. Looks nice hor? =) That's why I bought it.

But very disappointingly, it does not turn out anywhere near it after I applied! Must be me, not enough skills lor! =(

I guess with the RIGHT technique and skills and whatever else it takes, my eyes can and should look like this kawaii girl below lor. But erm... No lei, NOT anywhere near it...Got to try very much harder to get that kind of effect liao.

I not related to this girl lor, so don't ask me for contacts or any thing. She's the model for the item I bought so I just use her pics.

But she is really cute hor? I was NEVER cute to begin with... so, no wonder the applied already also so different. =/

Lessons followed by...

Had lessons today for the UCore, "Learning to Learn" which is a silly subject! The lecturer is good I must say but his teaching method is B-O-R-I-N-G. Though he is a master trainer in the mind mapping but he keeps boasting about himself then it makes me a bit sian lar. =( But I must say his maps are very nice. Colourful and easy to understand. But still very boring lor. hai... next week still have 1 more session. hai...

Anyway, after the super boring lesson, (which by the way, I found out 1 of my classmate also took Stats, but her lecturer is so horrible, she came into my class on Thursday, which resulted in a supper full class.) anyway, we chatted for a while during break and I guess I shall see her again in class on Thursday since she agree that my Stats Tutor is very good! hahaha.. opps... out of point... I want to say, I took the bus to town to meet hubby. Coz I wanted to eat the Korean food, so we went there.

I ordered my hot plate sotong and dug into it without delay. TOO hungry for words already. Hubby had claypot curry chicken. I think it should be very tasty. But I din try. =( Nvm, will have a chance next time lar.

I was desperate for working shoes and I saw URS at Heeren, so dragged hubby to find something with me. Saw a few that I quite like but the price don't agree with me... in the end, only ended up with this.It's an old old design already but since I really cannot find anything, then not much choice too lor.

AND I saw something which I'm gonna add into my Wish List, now, N-O-W!

THE Sony Ericsson W880i!!!I've decided already, when this current phone dies, I'm gonna change to this model! Yay!!! Now, the price is at an exhorbiant rate of $6368... Will wait till it is cheaper before I change. This phone has lots of function lei!! Can read more about the W880i if you are interested here. The more I see, the more I like it already... Kind of waiting for my V3i to erm... you know right? haha...

Went to Tangs and finally bought my sun block... after so long lor. Finally! And, DANG!!! I did not bring my Citibank card, don't have the 6% discount, and too late to back out coz I was already at the cashier!! Argg...

So also feel too pai sey to back out then no choice, went ahead to buy. =(

And I think the most interesting thing that could possible ever happen is that I was given these during class earlier. Yups, balls.

Ermm.. not so many lar, just a set of 3 balls. Not sure what happened to the pic I take also lei... =S And we are supposed to be able to juggle them by the next lesson. Hai... Now, I can only throw 3 balls an cannot catch. Need to try much much harder then.

50% done.

Whew... finally, I slogged thru half of the evening and I got 50% of the Stats individual project done... hmm.. come to think of it.. not 50%, it's lesser... like maybe 20% only... Though I've answered 1.5 of the 4 questions, I have not started on the presentation slides nor the script for the video shooting...

Nevermind lar, I'm starting early for Stats since I think I will need loads of help. The shooting is on 20 March. About 2 weeks more. The moment I'm done with the report, I can plan the rest. =)

But I need to get started for the Contract & Agency Law individual project as well... With these 2 weeks left, I really got to manage my time well!

But I'm just so happy that Stats is making a slow but sure progression... this is my most feared subject! Luckily, my lecturer is SOLIDLY good!!! He already went thru the questions and helped us with it. Else, how could I possibily even make a leeway with it!

Thank God for him mann!!!

Just now, so funny, halfway thru, Hubby said he's very hungry... so we went down for supper.. haha.. so late lei.. Midnight and then go n eat. Very fattening lei... But I only ate fishballs so not that bad la... Came up and finished off with whatever I can for Stats!

Going to slp... Tired out. Look at the time!!! Gosh... I've been awake for more than 19 hours!!! Gosh!!!! =S Panda eyes all showing already!

I'm happy! Know why??

Coz, as of today, I've finished half of the assignments due for this month! Yay!! No doupt that there's still lots to be done to be handed up, but since half of it is over, my stress is like wise reduced!

I just need to concentrate on the following for now...
Individual Project for the Contract & Agency Law
Individual Porject for Statistics
2 TMAs for UCore, Learning to Learn (which will only earn me a Pass or Fail)
and lastly, 2 more TMAs for Media, due early and end of Apr.

Yay... My stress level is lessen. Hooray!!! =)

If you have not change ur blog template, you should. The new template is SOOOOOOOOOO easy to use! Really it's click and drag or just cut and paste. Coming from an IT illiterate like me, trust me, it's easy. Only thing is, I don't know how come my pandas are gone. Possibily due to the fact that it was Hubby who pasted the pandas for me and I have no idea where he buried the bulk of it.... so.. anyway... depends on my mood la...

If I have nothing better to do tonite, then will go and find some of those Pandas that I love... else... stick to this till I get bored of it again lor. =)

On a completey different matter, I just came back from a very filling lunch of this - Claypot Hor fun. It's nice! But also very hot!(Hot as in tongue burning hot, not the spicy, chili hot lar). The Keow Teow is smoother and softer than usual. I felt the gravy is not as sweet as the normal standard as well.

But overall, not bad, for $3.60, quite ok. I got an egg to go along with it, hence mre expensive.

But I like it, think we will go back soon to try the next dishes.

Not really my day.

Yesterday I was in a Sec school for their career day exhibitation together with my sup. After that, we made our way to town after it has ended. Just before, we were going to leave the school, it started pouring. We had no brollies. Luckily another colleague was still there and she gave us a lift to the bus stop just outside.

Sup and I then made our way to town. I'm meeting hubby for a dinner and movie while sup is meeting her hubby for dinner in town.

All was well on the bus and MRT ride. Got out at City Hall and then I made my way to Robinsons. I wanted to get this...

My nominated store is in Robinsons, City Hall, so on the way ma morever, I have the Robinsons card... I exited out of the MRT and went to the store. Asked about it and all, then the sales told me, OOS! (Out Of Stock!) Alamak!!! I ran out of sun block lei!! Was banging on getting it today lei! =( hai... No choice... the next nearest outlets are those in Bugis, Orchard. Yar, I'm heading towards town, but to PS lor. Not that side of Town. Chiam liao this time, no sunblock.

Then no choice, before I can even think of any other solution, hubby called. He reached already. Sunblock save for another day then!

Then this morning... for don't know what reason, my hp refused to wake me up. It won't even start no matter how many times I tried!!! Argh!

Don't tell me, the phone gone case already... Not even a year old lei. Pls don't die on me so soon lei! My practise is to change after 24 months or 21 months earliest wan lor. Not ready to change HP yet, so don't die yet huh!

Hubby says no battery. Cannot be, last night when I off it, still got 2 bars. How can it be at night no use and this morning flat?! Anyway, for the time being, it's working. SO just pray that it continues to work well till Mar 11 2008!!! Or really have to have an early death, then "dong" till Dec 07.

So needless to say, this morning late for work lor. =( Somemore, no breakfast too!

Then when I went to her blog, I saw my own address there! Wow! All these time, I thought only my friends came to take a look and to link me to them. I never knew that there are others who I don't know linked me! I thought only will be I linked myself to them!

THE shake.

I was sitting in office working on some documents for both school and work and then... out of a sudden, I felt a bout of giddiness that came over me. I looked up and then everything was as normal, so continued to do what I was doing.

But the feeling came back again!

At this time, my office mate stood up and asked if I felt the building shake.

DUH!!!

So what I felt earlier was not my giddiness. But the building! OMGooness. Just how clever can I be?!

I thought it's coz of the construction that the building shook, it was much much later then we found out that there's a quake at Sumatra.

wah sey.... AMK also affected lei! Ant the feeling is scary lor. Really can feel the building shake.. My first ever quake in Sunny SG island.

Ah Teck told me to evaculate the building and we did! We went to the HDB flats nearby for kopi. -_-" If the building falls isn't it the same?!

Really... Just how much MORE clever can I really really get huh?!
