So pretty!

I was browsing through COACH website and happen to see their Key rings. A few of them caught my eyes and they are so pretty!

After spending a couple of hundreds on my Carly and Swingpack, its high time that I stop shopping for at least a couple of months to allow the miserable amount of moolah that I have to grow a little before bursting them off again. But that is not going to stop me from browsing through a little.

Did a collage of my favorite ones! =) So pretty aren't they?!

I am in the process of looking for key rings (but of course not so expensive ones!!!) as mine broke. So far, nothing has caught my eyes except for this.

Come to think of it, I think I still have the one from Perlini's from years ago. It was a pair with Hubby's but his broke while mine is still all right. But because, I was so anal and wanted (BADLY) to have a matching key ring with him, I bought another set and then both broke! Till now, I have not manage to find anything that we both like... hence just using the normal ugly silver metal rings. =(

Even if I get this nice ones from COACH, also not pair with hubby's, I think I shall just continue to use that ugly ring and save myself some moolah la. Or I shall just use back the old Perlini's key ring.

But, these key rings from COACH is so nice and pretty! But to pay over a $100 SGD for a key ring is something that I am not ready to do lor. So, having said all that. Just see only lor. hahahahahahahaha

It's time to take care

You know, I always spend so damn much $$ on my face, on my clothes and shoes and bags right?
Yet, I've never really bother to be spending much more effort on our internal organs and our health.

So yesterday, after my facial, I decided to get some nutritious things for our bodies.

Personally, I feel that I do not take enough greens and fruits. So I got these from Fancl. Green Tea "Brown Rice" and Green Juice Powder to be shared between hubby and myself.

What I do like about Fancl is that they are totally preservatives free hence I'm not taking in any chemicals nor preservatives and that's good.

I must admit that their things are slightly on the high side, but I guess for the quality and better health, I should not be too calculative.

One thing is to say is, I hope these items taste good. =/ Else how to make myself drink it?

Tuesday, March 25

Ta dah!

I'm the proud owner of these...friend sent an email early this morning saying that the COACHies are with her already and she could pin point to me which are the exact ones bought.

I'm so excited now. Can't wait to meet her after work this evening to lay my hands on it!

Thanks Cin!

Really appreciate your help for lombanging your colleague!

Waiting... Just waiting.

Last night as I was typing the entry on my buy for my lashes... I was wondering if friend's friend have managed to get the Coachies for me and I was kind of nervous and excited to find out.

I almost can't get to sleep thinking about it. It obviously did not help that the night was warm and that my neighbours think it's too early to be keeping quiet after midnight... so it was with great anticipation that I was eagerly waiting for friend to get back to me.

THEN! This morning I came in and did not see her online, so I waited and waited. Did not want to sms her, seems too kan cheong. So I waited.

FINALLY, she msned me.

"Good news for you."

"My colleague got BOTH of your bags but in alternate colors, I'm not sure which colour yet, will take a look when she brings it and will pass it to you."

=D

What can I say now?

I'm a proud owner of not 1 but 2 COACHies! =D

Lashes protector

Just got this before I went to PIL's house for dinner earlier today.

Eyelash & Eyebrow Nutrition Liquid from The Face Shop at a mere $12.25 after 5% discount. The SA can actually recognize me and told the cashier, "Regular customer". Heh! Description Keratin and botanical proteins and extracts penetrates the skin to nourish lashes → Keeps lashes healthy and radiant Apply over lashes before going to bed.

I hope it works but then again, even if it does not, I don't think I will be that upset.... the price is sooo cheap. Quality usually comes with a price. I shall wait and see.

I just did some research online, besides this item from Face Shop, there's this 3 other products that's highly raved. Cheap and Good! Works wonders on lots who tried.

Raved item 1: Canmake Essence; Lash and Brow Treatment at around SGD $13, available over counters in Bugis and certain Guardian pharmacies. Raved Item 2: Mavala Double Lash available at Sasa at below $20.
Raved Item 3: Revitalash, this is DA best. BUT it's not available in hot sunny Singapore at all... have to beg, steal and ask someone to cart it back lor.
And yes, it's a MUST for me to have some eyelash 'protector, lengthener and volumer (if there's such a word)". I use mascara heavily and daily. On top of that, I use electric curler to curl my already thin, sparse and short lash. So, definite YES and MUST to have a "protector" for those precious sparse hairs. =(

I was using the Lash Repair from Shu Uemura but it's so darn pricey! It costs me a whopping $41 bucks when I bought it last year! But I have to say the damn thing works. My lash has indeed been growing slightly longer lor. But it's too expensive to maintain and upkeep, not to mention, the Shu counters are mostly in town and I not keen to go all the way to town to get it coz I know I will most likely end up getting lots more of other things.

As far as possible, I'm preventing myself from going to town.

Anyway, to add on to this item, it lasted me quite long, almost 6 months I think. I din even realize that the whole bottle was gone until recently when I used it then I realize my lashes are dry, no difference when though I've brushed on multiple coats. I take that as a sign that the bottle is gone. So, for the $40 bucks that I spent last year till now, it's a pretty good buy la. But to me, I still feel that it's steep, if I can achieve the same results with something cheaper, why should I pay more right?

Friday, March 21

This should come first.

I totally forgot that I've put in an order to replenish my existing stash of Benefits Cosmetics...

This time, my cart is a mere $108 USD since I only got 4 items. It's a shame that I ordered just a day too early else I can get a free mini sized Benetint too! =(

Anyway, I really did not over buy this time. I got what I needed.

My usual item.... "That Gal" (I'm getting 2 as I used it daily), additional of "Big Beautiful Eyes" (I shall call it "BBE" for short, too long to keep typing) Palette and a concealer. I've seen the colors of the BBE on my kaki and it looks great! And the need for a concealer is increasingly becoming more urgent. I've been having lots of outbreak suddenly!!! *sobs*

After thinking and comparing BBE with the "Brow Zings" for the longest time ever, I've decided to go for BBE instead since I've just recently opened a new eyebrow pencil. So, ya, in addition to the F21 (which ALL the items were on sale), I've just blown another $150 or so on cosmetics too, which the expected delivery date is Labor Day, May 1. whahahahaha...Looks like, there is no rest day for the delivery guy then.

At this current moment, still waiting and praying and hoping that friend's colleague is getting the Carly and or the swing pack for me and that will mean another $500 (at least!) blown too.

But, I'm still happy and willing to spend the amount!

I think I'm getting depressed... I realised, I tend to blow more moolah when I'm down. =(

Spree-ing again...

My kaki said she's opening F21 coz her sis wanted something.

So, I'm getting these.....A simple Grey Top that I can wear to work, a simple purple dress and leggings in brown and charcoal.

Guess, what's the total price I'm paying?

USD 29!!!

SOOOOOO Cheap!

In fact, it's so cheap till I'm tempted to get more lor. But I think I shall stop at just these few pieces. (for the time being)

Edited on 24 March to add: My charcoal leggings is out of stock. So that brings my shopping down to USD $24.50

Calulations.

I've always have a fear of maths, even simple mathematics. I just simply dislike it. All the plus, minus, multiplication and division are easy enough for me. But I truly truly dislike it even more when I have to do things like "Accrued", "Depreciation", "shareholders' equity" amongst the many others don't know what are enough to make my head spin. Not to mention, going thru list and list of items in what "Balance Sheet", "Income Statement" and "Cash Flow Statement". =(

But I have no choice, I got to do it now. 2 of my modules this semester are Financial Accounting and Mangerial Accounting. I have no idea what are the differences at this point in time. But all I know, my head is already spinning.

In a bid to make myself feel better, I've decided to ditch my old scientific calculator and get myself a nicer, simpler, bigger fonts calculator. Part of the reason is also because, I've got to keep reminding myself to bring the calculator to and fro work daily, which is such a chore!!!

Like over the last few days, I forgot to bring my calculator home and when I was doing revision for my accounting, gosh, it was sooooooo tough especially when all I had was the mini calculator from my Hp!

So finally, over the weekend, while Hubby and I was out after dinner, I gotten myself another calculator. My requirements for this new calculator is simple. Nice color, big fonts and must come with the "00" button. Why? Because, when I have big figures, I get so sick of pressing "0" soo many times la, not to mention hor, sometimes mis key. Either too many or too little. Best will be if the calculator comes with the "," kind to separate the "0". After looking at too many figures, I cannot tell 100000 from 10000 without the separator lei.

And I found my nice calculator in NBC, Bugis. =) The only grouse I have is, it's not Pink. Coz they don't have. This is the closeest I can get lor.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this. So sweet hor, the color. Meets all my requirements. Comes with the zero separators, large fonts and "00" key! Albeit a little out of my budget... But nevertheless, I got it. I was happily using this througout Sunday while Hubby went for his class, leaving me home alone with my text, notes and calculator!

Nothing better to hit the books (especially accounting nor anything to do with calculations) with pretty stationery! =P

Bimbo, yes. But no choice. I really dislike the subject. Must tempt myself with nice, colourful stationery to study!

Sunday, March 16

Quick Update

Have asked a friend's colleague to get these COACHies for me from US.

Yes! Yes!!! A Carly and a Swingpack. Not sure, which color will she be helping me to get, it really depends very much on the stock available.

Hee.... in 2 weeks time, I'll be the proud owner of at least 1 COACHie.

And on a completely separate note, I have to do contrasting and comparison (again!?) between a rap done by Media Development Authority (MDA) in 2007 and an article of Mark Lee being the tour guide for the National Heritage Board (NHB).This clip is really quite a laugh but I do applaud the top guns in MDA to do it.

The article of Mark Lee can be found here. Part of the reason why I put all these here is so that I won't loose the links and I can access it from office without having to do a search all over again.

So hor ppl, remember I am doing an assignment on these 2 things hor, so if you have any bright insights to the

  1. brand
  2. brand image
  3. brand personality
  4. target market
  5. appeal
  6. buzz marketing
  7. the concept of snyergy
Please, PLEASE drop me a note!!!!

Thanks in advance hor!!!!

I love stationery(ies)

I'm someone who LOVES stationery. I always find it a great pleasure to look and test out new stationeries...

Because I hardly do much drawings nor even doodling. I keep to the standard Blues and Blacks. But my favorite pen all these years have been the Pilot G2. I use it all the time. Even in office! And that's quite a waste especially since we are provided with stationery but I don't use those. I hate those ball kind of pens.... I MUST MUST use gel inks.. and G2 is the only one that I've touched for the last few years.

But Pilot are very safe and boring, I love those nice, cutsey, colorful pens too. Though I hardly buy (because I can hardly draw nor doodle) but I still like to look at it. =)

And I just came across a new stationery online.... Have you heard of "Popcorn pens"? And I've fallen for it. It's so cute!

The Popcorn pens. Wet ink in the barrel, once it's dried on high heat, then it creates all sorts of interesting textures!!! See! So cute and nice right?! The ink will POP up hence the name. Of course I know it's because the drawing is nice hence it looks so good la. If it was me, I may not get that kind of effect since I really dislike drawing. =/I found a video online giving more details on how to use this Pop corn pen.... here!

Another I came across is the Color Splitz pen... This is similar to the "magic pen" I've used as a kid where the color changes if the white/transparent ink is colored over it. But, with some difference. Instead of running another color over it, the Color Splitz pens comes with 2 colors in the nip. So at different angles, the colors runs differently and is able to get both shades out.

Again, depending on the level of your drawling and doodling skills, will be able to get different effects and pictures! Which I think, I will not be able to put it to use like that. =( So, if you are interested, do check here to get yourself a set before the spree closes! I'm not earning any commission or anything from this, I just like it very much and thought of sharing.

I'm still thinking if I should get a set because when I told hubby, he said I won't use wan lor. Will buy and keep keep keep. And honestly, I think he is right lor. =( Plus the fact that still have to use heat on it. I find it very troublesome la. But!! I am considering the Color Splitz pens! That, no need to use heat and can just use like that ma. =P

Be careful please

In a short span of 24 hours, I received news that 2 of my church friends met with an accident.

Thank God, that they are both all right, the person is fine but the car is not, from what I can imagine, the car seems to be in a total wreck.

The first case actually happened last wk, but I only heard about it on Thursday night. A friend's son was driving home and should have nodded off and crashed into the lamp post. The boy was shaken but suffer no injuries. Thank God for that.

Th next came yesterday morning when I've barely warm my seats in office. He called and said he met with an accident the before before.

Some uncle was speeding, spun and crashed into him, causing him to spin and crashed into the barrier. His car is took on the whole impact while he is ok. Praise God!

So please, drivers out there, please be careful on the road. Be it yourself or others. The wet weather these days are not helping. Please, please be careful.

Think of yourself and your loved ones before you decide to try anything funny!

Lord God, thank you so much for protecting them from harm. Though the car is wrecked but more importantly they suffered no injuries. Thank you so much for your grace and protection.

Amen!

Funny Character

There's this funny character near my place and I usually will meet him in the morning as I wait for my bus.

In the morning, he will walk to the bus stop and then stand at the yellow line to wait for his bus.

Nothing unusual you say?

Well, not when he stands THIS close to the edge of the bus stop. I personally think he is a hazard to himself and to others.

In the mornings, there are many buses that stops at this bus stop, not to mention, some cars also stop to pick up or let their passengers alight.

He has to stand ON the yellow line to wait for his bus. =/ The bus he waits for is HUGE. It's the new double decker bus, cannot miss. And there's only ONE new double deck that comes this way. So it's really very very outstanding.

I say he post a danger to himself and others because, even when the buses comes near, and we all know that there's this side mirror that protrudes out that sometimes eats abit "into" the paveway, he will still stand there and NOT siam at all! Rain or Shine, he will stand there.

Actually, I cannot be bothered as to where he stands.

What bothers me is this.

Even when it is NOT his bus, he still stands there. He is IN THE WAY of the others (sometimes my way too la) you know!

Most importantly is, I do NOT want to witness an accident early in the morning since we all know that sometimes, cars, busses or don't know what can just slam into the bus stop.

That aside, he is very weird. =/

If his bus is late, he will stop the next bus that comes (not his bus) and ask the driver, "what is taking number XXX so long?" or "What time will number XXX come?" Heh! I guess, he must have not seen the advertisements. He should be asking "Iris" not the next bus driver that comes along.

And actually, the most funny thing is, if he sees his bus already at the bus stop and he is across the road, he will be flagging his arm wildly in the air, making some noise in order to get the bus driver to wait for him. That is really quite a sight.

Then obviously the bus will leave right? Since he is across the road, haven't even start to cross yet that kind. Then once he reach this side, he will be mumbling and grumbling! hahahaha...

Personally, other than slightly worried about his safety, I find him very funny!

So, if any of you know this man, please warn him of safety ok?

Monday, March 10

Should I be worried?

Recently, because of work, I got to know this colleague of mine whom makes me feel very stressed and freaky...But I've no idea which department he is from till recently...

I've actually met him a couple of times before on the bus in the morning when I come to work. I know we are colleagues, coz we walk the same way to office when we are on the same bus. I did not take much notice of him, besides knowing that he is big sized. Other than that, the only other thing is that I remembered he gave way to me once when we were both trying to get off the bus. Other than that, I don't know anything else about him.

What happened was that owning to the Fiscal year closing, we are all busy trying to close accounts, spend $$ and trying to generally find ways to snip all loose ends. So I was trying to do the same to some of my dept's purchases then I found out, I have to go thru him.

Spoken to him a few times over the phone and I already did not have a good impression of him. He sounded too sleepy and tired. Not that kind of "perk-me-up" voice that I normally hear. Anyway, till this moment in time, I still cannot put the face to the name.

But then, one evening while I was waiting for the bus to come, he came up to me and asked me if I'm so and so. He got it wrong. So I said. No. I'm not. After giving him my name, I asked him who he is. Then! BINGO! He was the guy whom I've been chasing for the past few weeks! So, finally I can put the face to the name. And trust me, by then, I honestly do not like what I see. Slity bleedy eyes, big size (fat), slightly balding and overall impression was just not good.

Then a few days later, while walking to office, he came up behind me and started talking to me. Normal ma. You say. Well... maybe. But... a few days later, I had to go to find him to ractify something... and that was just before lunchtime.

After the document was done, I left. Met him again at the lift.... and the whole converstaion went like this.

Him: Wanna go lunch?

Me: Can't. I don't have $$ with me. All in my office

Him: Nvm, we can go back to take.

Me: No la. My office not near this block.

Him: Nvm la. I can wait.

Me: But I'm already meeting another colleague for lunch.

Him: We can all go together lor.

I had no choice but to agree already right? Lunch was with my kaki, I dare not go alone with him. He does not make me feel safe. So I dragged my kaki with me.

Then came the shock. 2 days after meeting this guy, my kaki told me, her bf is his camp mate. And that he is "well known" in camp for having many many sexual relationships with women. The woman he selects are 1) Married 2) Big Boobs

I don't know if I'm overly senstitive or what, but I noticed that when I do see him in the bus now, he tends to "walk" my path and look in my direction more....

I happened to fall into both of hs sick categories. So tell me, la. worrying not?!

Sunday, March 9

Pass with "C" please.

The time is now 4.18am... and I've JUST completed revising the Accounting chapter on Cash flow that was covered in class on Friday.

I think this time, I really need help for accounting. Honestly speaking, I've no idea what I've been doing for the past 6 weeks during class. At the moment now, I can't understand what was being taught nor can I seem to do any of the questions that was covered. =(

I need help!

Surprisingly, I've not slept a wink for the whole day since waking up at 10.30am yesterday and I'm still mentally and physically alert.

My brain is feeling overwhelmed already, hence, I shall call it an end to my day thus far and crawl into my warm bed in a matter of minutes.

I sincerely pray, that I can get a "C" for Accounting. =(

Saturday, March 8

I. WANT.

I want ain either Chocolate, Saddle or Brown. Which I've asked Bro to get for me. Hopefully, he will. But I seriously doubt he will. =(

I want a in either Optic Pink, Signature, Hampton Signature, Hampton Scarf in Gold or Optic Parchment. Which I'm kicking myself now, should have asked Via to get for me when she went to Sans Francisco last week. I actually asked her to get 2 swingpacks for another 2 friend, but decided that she has enough to carry and did not ask her to get a 3rd!

AND I want all these too!Erase Paste, Big Beautiful Eyes, Get Bent Brush, You're Bluffing, Show Off in Bambi, Foundation Brush, Eye Con, Gel Eyeliner in Black Cherry and Brow Zings!!!! Mostly from Benefit Cosmetics, which again, I should have asked Via to get!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edited at 11.40pm to add, Hubby took one look at the post and said "Woah! You want so many things." And proceed to shake his head going "Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!" =(

There goes my hope of a sponsor.

Close call

Met THE physo twice this week in the bus in the morning.

Thank God, both times I brought my NDS, pretended to be VERY VERY busy playing it. Both times, I see familiar faces on the bus. Hurried to walk with them the moment I got my ass off the seats of the bus.

From now on, I'm making it a point to bring my NDS with me to work EVERY SINGLE day. I shall try to find familiar faces on the bus. If don't have.... I think I shall pretend to make phone calls, so as to 'siam' from talking to him, walking with him, as unfortunately, we work in the same place but different department.

WILL definitely give the signal that I'm NOT interested in having any kind of small talks with him at all.

*shivers*

八字不和

That about summarises the relationship between my idiotic mgr and me.

I really have no idea what I did wrong or what is wrong with either him or me. Yesterday morning, the moment I stepped into office, he called me and asked me to go and see him as he needs to update me for the company's development.

This kind of thing, is just "to know" and no need to do anything else. Since when will the company take me, this small and lowly fry's comments into consideration right? So anyway, but it's still have to know, meaning someone will go on and on... I just have to pretend to listen. Nod and "ah" at the right time can already lor.

Anyway, expect big changes from my company.

I think HR really really should send my idiotic mgr to go for EQ course la. He can ask me, "So when you think back to the times when you were a student, what is the best thing that you gained from here? " I thought long and hard... actually there was nothing and my silence became too much for him to bear.

He answered "You got your hubby here ma."

Heh!!! -_-"

So is he trying to be 'friendly', 'joking' or is he implying something? Or am I thinking too much?

Whether I get my hubby from here or there does not matter to him right? This is my personal life too right?

I guess, I already dislike him too much hence no matter what he say, I will tend to over analyse.

And I think the best part was, he had to say all these after I spent a good 5 mins battling a silly cockroach the moment I woke up and went to the toilet. Here was that ugly, offensive thing lying on my bathroom floor!

Besides giving me a good fright, which ended waking me up totally and throwing all sorts of sleepiness from me, I ran round the already space limited bathroom with a can of insecticide in my right hand and my left hand waving madly in the air and thinking if I should wake up the still snoring hubby.

It got to a point, I'm not sure if I'm chasing that offensive thing or it was chasing me... =(

And that offensive thing crawled everywhere ok! The sink, the barrier, the toilet bowl.... it took me sometime before I finally dared and decided to sit on the toilet bowl... and that's because I can't hold it much longer. I was also half worried that I will slip and fall in the oily and wet bathroom. Insecticide is oily ma. Finally, finally, after many many sprays that I think must have missed that offensive thing. It turned over and faced the ceiling!!!

Victory is mine. MINE. MINE! MINE!!!!! whahahahahahahahahaha

Can you imagine I was doing all these without seeing clearly too? I'm blind as a bat without my trusted lens / specs lei. It's so torturous killing that roach. ARGH!

Finally after I wore my lens, I realised that offensive thing was at least 2cm long!!!! OMGoodness! I never realised it was that big lor!

So anyway, after a mind wrenching, heart pumping and nerves breaking battle in the morning and half fearing that I'll meet that physo on the way to work on the bus... I have to get this from the mgr. He really know how to choose the best timing. Honest.

In fact, he only choose such GOOD days!!

The CNY that past

Super long over dued... But I really do so want to include into my blog.

This year CNY was a long, relaxed and nice holiday for me. Espcially so when the first 2 days of CNY fall on Thursday and Friday. Wednesday was a half day for us coupled with festive lunch! This year, I'm very lucky too, managed to get a lucky draw item too. The items are lousy la, some cheena things but still, lucky to get something, best of all, the lucky number is "15" lei! That's my birthdate! =) Heng Heng hor?

Anyway, reunion dinner was a simple affair at my parent's plc this year. Compared to the stressful dinner I had in PIL's plc last year, this year is soo much more relaxing and enjoyable! At least, there were not criticisms that the food was not good.

Fast forward to Day 1 of CNY, went for morning mass in CTK, distributed AP then we went on to my grandma's place in AMK for lunch and distributed more AP. Stayed till about 2 and then we left for Yishun GV, where we caught Kung Fu Dunk, starring Jay. Quite nice, the effects were very kua chang but still, cool to watch. Jay was acting cool and cute in the show. He looks so adorable! The other basket ballers were the hunky sort. I like. I like! =)

By some sort of don't know what arrangement, OBIL fetched us from Yishun to hubby's Grandma's place. I was of course not too happy that we had to take his car there. I mean, the Grandma's plc is in Yishun, we are already in Yishun, so what's wrong with taking a bus there? Hubby disagree obviously, he said, since we are reaching his Grandma's plc so late, better to go with more ppl, so that less attention will be on us. =/ Whatever it is la. Since it's already over.

I don't really like gng to his Grandma's plc. Coz it's overly crowded with a big MJ table set up in the hall. No space to sit, no space to stand. Plus it's very warm and humid. We had dinner there as well, but it was kind of a rush to eat dinner coz there'll be many many ppl queueing to eat right after you, so I also pai sey to sit there and hog the seat for too long.

The star this year was BB Nicholas. He just turned one. Fat, chubby baby. Very cute. hahaha.. But did not really have a chance to carry him as he's shy and afraid of all the crowd. I guess, the next star is OBIL. Coz he's planning his ROM on 18 Feb and when the relatives asked when is he getting married, his reply was "soon soon, getting flat, considering Yishun". hahahahaha... Quite tiring I think to repeat and repeat.

I had abit of the same too. Had to repeat, "Ya. Still studying. Graduating in Nov 09. No. Not planning Baby yet. After graduation" wah. really is tiring.

But thank God it's a once a year thingy that we go to his Grandma's house. I don't think I can stand it with all the heat, noise and crowd PLUS all the questionings. Went home at about 9pm feeling very warm and sticky. =(

2nd day of CNY - Went to my cousin's place in Sembawang. Chat with them and then played with my 2 nephews. Long time did not see them. Both boys are so big now. Very cheeky. But nice to play lor. Spent the whole afternoon and evening there.

3rd day of CNY - Another movie date with hubby. This time, we went to watch CJ7 at Hub. Lousy show but nice theater! I love the seats and theatre. The show.. waste my $$$. The plot and story is sooo predictable and it's not even funny at all. Stephen Chow has lost his touch. Bleh. After movie, went to Clement & Wise's house for dinner. =D Our little princess was all decked in white. So pretty and cute lor!

We all decided to take a walk at T3 after dinner and while waiting for the adults to get ready, Clara was "talking" to me too! See Godpa!!! Clara also will talk to me ok, not just to u ar!!! *super pleased Godma* I admit...I've been sooo jealous ever since that photo of Clara talking to Godpa la.

That little princess hor, she must like going out ALOT ALOT. While we were in the car, no matter what we say or make any face at her, her laughter just fills the whole car! SOOOOOOO happy and excited to be going out! hahahahah.... her infectious laughter of course also infected all of us, and we laughed along with her. The little darling... awwwww..

Anyway, I think half the population of Singapore is at T3 during this 3rd day of CNY. It was soooooo crowded. We wanted to go to T3 for coffee but end up no choice, had to take the sky trian to T2 for that coffee instead.

4th day of Cny - Nothing much, morning went for mass then had lunch and then we went home. Went to my parent's plc for dinner that night too. Along the way, one of these days, PIL called and asked if we wanted to go to so and so house or even go back home. We din want. Since
1) We had already met that particular so and so.
2) We had plans and not free.
3) I'm kind of lazy to travel.

Another thing I don't really understand, is it a practise to like visit the uncles / aunties house on a rotational basis? Like today go 2nd aunt's hse, tml the same gang to to 4th aunt's hse?? My family NEVER practise such things, so I actually find it a total waste of time and sooo tiring to travel from house to house visiting the same relatives. I mean already seen all, met all at the Grand's hse ma, still need to go round visiting? This year, we had 4 days of CNY holidays, other years, only 2 days, where got so much time to go here go there? Very tiring lei!

Monday was back to work. =( But I doubt many of us really worked coz still like festive mood.
Wed, I was supposed to be on half day. But I was on MC for Wed and Thursday. So, just as well. Save my leave lei!

Went for a good lunch with my mom and 2 sisters, then we just walked round town, sight seeing. Really had an enjoyable afternoon with my mom and sisters. I think this is the first time, the 4 of us went out together like this. Lunch, window shopping and coffee. I feel like a tai tai!

I had to go for my facial at 6pm, my mom has a dinner appt with her friends, my 2 sis were supposed to go home but they again went shopping, so I joined them after my facial for another round. I did not get anything since I've overbought everything prior to CNY. So, it was really really window shopping for me.

Thursday, Valentine's Day and mugging at home. =( No choice. Had 2 assisgments due 1 day after the other. Better do something about it. No time to loose.

Friday.... My Hatch Day. Means another year older. After the 2 days of MC and it was my once a year special day, I decided to put my OT time to good use and claim off today. So, I was nuah-ing at home, supposed to be mugging and preparing for my lessons that evening. Obviously, I did not do as much as I had planned to.... being my birthday, I thought I can slacken and give myself a break. =P

Saturday, Hubby brought me to Hog's Breadth Cafe, but I've already blogged on that... so fast forward to Sunday. It's also a once a year thingy for me, but I definitely have to go to my Kai Ye's plc somewhere in Telok Blangah. It's a home temple kind of thing. So while my family prays and do the necessary, Hubby and I will just sit there waiting for the prayers to end and then tuck in to a scumptous vegetarian meal! =)

That about summarise my CNY holiday.... the rest of the other days were just, eat, work, sleep, study. Nothing interesting about it at all.

Oh! the next most intersting thing was, I struck the Toto Hong Bao draw lei!!! =) But only $20. =(

But then again, this is the first time, I've strike, I got the "02", "15", "19" and "25" so I'm still very happy! =D Point to note hor, is I got the "15" again lei. My birthdate this year seems to be my lucky number lei! whahahahahahahahahahahah Some more hor, I got my full birth date this time too! "1502"·

Shall buy some more then.

HUAT ar!!!!!!!!!!!!

But cannot be too greedy also ok. Buy abit to play play can liao hor. =P
