Darn!

Now that I have so many photos in my hp captured and wanted to upload to here, my stopid secondment to this new dept got to take away all my rights! Coz i got to use the IR to beam the photos out from my hp to PC and stoopid thing, i hv to hv my administer rights before i can use the IR!!! Arggg...

I was soo looking forward to putting in interesting photos here! Argg!!!!

Been feeling out of sorts ever since the secondment, i feel i am totally wasting time here, doing the same work tat i do when i was in my former dept and here is.. hai...

Argg... enough abt this lousy mood.. don't let it affect me ya!

My last weekend was spent on wedding prep and hse and mre hse prep... Do sme updates..
wedding prep...
wedding favours were delieverd yesterday, 320 pcs of mini jams. Now left to do the packaging of the jams.
photo album shd b ready for collection by 17 Sep, went down to BC on Mon (yeap, I took a day leave, so as to enjoy the long wk end) to look at the revised layout. This time, instead of that 'shi wen jiu bu ji' Ah Hong to serve me, it was my photographer, Kit. Hengz.. he so much mre professional lor. Ok, tat's settled as well.
FPIL told me ov the long wk end that they will give me $2K to buy jewellery.. FMIL wanted me to buy gold items.. but thank God, FFIL and hubby spoke up for me, so now i can get any material i want.. Yipee!!! Most likely will go to Lee Hwa next wk after work.. =)
We also went for cake tasting at Pine Gardens on sat.. wow.. we had, lychee martini, 3 layer choc, blackforrest, browine, cheescake... my fav is the 3 layer choc and the black forrest. But *sigh* their wedding cake is gonna costs us $450 if we r getting it.. after hearing the price.. we hv to say sorry.. but their Guo Ta Li things are rather reasonable.. will present the list to FPIL and see what they says since they are paying for it. If not, there are a couple of others which i think the price is right.. in fact the lowest i mange to get for marble cake is $5.25 per 0.5kg.. free delivery some mre... good right.. nw is waiting for FPIL approval only.
Only thing left for the wedding is the invite card.. seem to be having soem problem with the map.. hai.. hubby is nw trying to resolve the problem.. if not.. maybe we will have to take out the map and put it into 1 fold instead of 2 folds?
Then of course there is the Guo Ta Li thingy on the 18 Sep.. hai.. this 1.. i think take it as it comes lar.. no point i think too much now.

Hse prep..
Finally! David handover the keys to us on Sat.. So long.. wow.. do a quick count, we gave him the keys on 23 May... and he gave us back on 6 Aug.. abt 2.5 mths... woah.. quite long considering the thigns tat we do are rather simple.. but then again, the slower he do, the slower we pay.. oso good lar. We have not do any inspection yet.. better do it soon.. so can get him to come back in case of defects.
During this period of wk end and a 1 day leave, we did so much shopping! Nw my hse has utencils enough for 10 persons.. hahahaha.. includes plates, bowls n basic cutlery... wow.. needless to say also spent a bomb.. but not tat bad too leh.. we bought most of the things fm Ikea (which we went on Saturday AND Tuesday *gosh*).. except for the porcelain spoon which we bought at 'Lau Choy Seng' in chinatown... wah.. these spoons are expensive. Then we shop arnd chinatown abit been so long since we last went there.. bought a table runner for our dinning table as well.. happy with my purchases. The best deal was the chopsticks i feel, at only $1.50 for 10 pairs... cheap cheap.. hahahahahaha
Tues, we went dw to Hong Liang with Keng Hong and his wife, Cheryl (KH is hubby's colleague, Cec keeps telling me that he is a cutie... but when i saw him... chey... what a disappointment) to select our electrical appliances. We made booking for a 29" Tv, a Toshiba Fridge, a Toshiba washing machine and a Philips hm entertainment system. Total costs, $2100 with $30 discount. Not too bad hor? But too bad for us, coz we are not able to pay full, so we will be using credit card installment, we got to bear a 4.5% interest, so the total amout is $2194.50 =( but the owner willing to let us pay $2190 lar.. so a total discount of $34.50 lor.. better than nothing lar.. N, their service is so prompt! They are able to deliver the items on this Sat. Tat's soon, isn't it.
So for this Sat, I'm gonna spend it at my hm waiting for furniture and electrical to come in. Hope the furniture will come in 1st, so that the TV can come in later n just put on the TV console.
Was reading thru the SG brides earlier and i realise alot of ppl has bad comments abt the furniture delivery... n to my surprised, i saw hubby's name there.. though he did not put dw full name, but it's like the moment u c it, u know that it's him. Any1 else has this kind of feeling before? Kind of weird and difficult to explain but tat's wat happen!

Tat makes the end of my updates... seems like things are falling into plc nicely for me.. esp on the wedding n hse prep..

Last nite, hubby was telling me, we got to slowly shift our things into our new hse.. yar... now tat he reminded me.. i kind of forgot that I got to shift hse.. hahahahaha. Was so happy at being at parents' home n just walk over to new hse that i kind of forgot that I got to physically shift my things over.. hahahahaha.. okie. *mental note* will start this week end..

*sigh* looks like another busy as a bee week end for me... but before i hit the week end, it's Thurs nite and tat means KICKBOXING nite! =)
