lovenest reno coming to an end.... YipeE!!!

the renovation for our lovenest is almost coming to an end! Was there last nite, and v happy to say that left with the granite top for the kitchen and the wardrobe in our bed room to be completed and Hooray!!!!! Tat's it!!!

Just spoken to David and need him to add and to clarify some things. Been quite a good working experience. If my other friends need renovation, will recommend him. Just that, he abit the ah beng contractor / carpenter, wonder if my friends can accept him? Nvm lar.. tat's up to them to decide, they can always reject him if they don't like. But i oso quite scared to recommend him to the rest, coz he right at the begining tell me quite upfront that the person who recommended us to him oso not anyhow recommend wan.. so i take it as a big hint...

feeling v happy with the things that he has done for us.. let's look at pics.. since pics say a thousand words...

ta da.... my new kitchen cabinets.. looks good? Even the rubbish chute looks nice..in case u can't locate it.. it's tat squarish yellow thing at the corner. hahahaha.. Let's hope tat it lasts as long as it looks good!

not tat bad after all huh? V glad I tore away all the things despite our limited cash flow and negative comments fm hubby =P of course the kitchen is not done yet, have yet to add in the tap and the granite table top. David says nt wk then can add all these.. coz he's gng to China tis wk end to get supplies =( good & bad I guess.. we not rushing him so he can take his time to do a better job for us and we also can delay payment... hahahaha =D

Before I post sme photos of our bed rm... maybe we take a look at the altar that we had a brain wave zapped thru us and we in turn got David to do for us.. It's really a simple design.. but.. hm.. not bad! =)

Altar is really just 3 planks of wood added on to tat huge pc of wall.. v proud to annouce tat it's MY idea.. but think it's not tat bad =) hubyy oso says nice =D *super proud* hahahahahahaha mental note..*must make it a habbit to pray daily* Crucufix is a gift fm David when he went to Phillpines a few weeks ago to visit his in laws (the crucufix is so new that it's still in the plastic! must bring to CTK for Fr Yim to bless before 'kai chang') =) my lousy camera can't capture the full glory of tis crucufix.. but.. for viewing pleasure.. ought to be enough?

this bed frame is fm ceiling to floor.. n spells obiang in caps... O-B-I-A-N-G!! But we were told tat, 5-7 yrs ago, this design is v IN and it costs a bomb to construct! Anyway.. good bye..

and say HELLO to our 'zen' bed frames.. which costs us a mini bomb... there's actually a 2 tone for the headboard.. but hm.. the colour which we chose blended in too well with each other, cannot c.. shd we repaint tat bit... get David to do it FOC?? hahahahahaha

the wardrobe b4 reno..
this is the best thing abt the hse.. i simply love the big wardrobes.. but hubby n David says not good... too GIANT for words.. so it has to go too.. Bye bye...


can't produce the newly constructed wardrobe yet coz short of the doors when I took a peep last nite.. will post it when they put it up.. David says tml, his guys will work on it.. so maybe nt wk I shd b able to post it.

Wow.. good news... don't have to wait till nt wk to take a glimse of my new wardrobes.. I hv it now!! Yippee... Was there yesterday evening (23 Jun, Thurs) and took a snapshot! Does it look good?! =P


the mre i look at it.. the mre i like our bed frame! There's another colour to the headboard, but it matches so well that it cannot be seen =( Oh well, needs 1 mre coat of pain on the head board, but this is a small thing, will be able to get it done tml hopefully or hm... shd we keep it as what it is nw.. save the trouble and $... =/ can't decide...

Hm.. quite happy wif our lovenest nw.. the mre I look at the photos, the mre it has the 'come stay in ME' feeling.. hahahahaha hm.. come to think of it.. sounds like the song... 'Everyday God' especially when '...come be with us'
