wedding card

whew.. after so many trials and error, i'm proud to finally annouce that we have our prototype out and ready!

On our 1st design (which still is the best design, I feel) it did not pass requirements coz the paper was too flimsy. But overall design and colour scheme match v well.

Our current design, we change the paper, but unfortunely, we are not able to get back the same shade of pink! So let down.. =( But it feel more like a card, according to hubby and he is happy with it.

BUT! the middle strip of paper that we wanted, cannot match the colour, so we have decided to ditch it away as well as to change a ribbon colour to something else. Spent quite some time in the shop in AMK just mixing and matching ribbons.. Spent even mre time in book shops getting the paper!

If only i cld post my card pics here! Darn.. I just cannot do it, coz of the firewall! Argg....

At least we settle the cards.. 1 big load off my mind. Got to call the book shop to make sure they ordered the paper for me.. hai~~ they do things soo slowly..

My thank you cards have all been done ages ago, just need to cfm the qty of the jars that we are getting and then we can start tying the cards to the jars.. I heard that tying ribbons not easy.. got to start doing asap then. But cannot till i know how many to buy! N that means, i can only start buying after my guests hv RSVP-ed.

Left with the mass booklet now. Thanks to C, I finally know how to print my mass orders into a booklet! N agai, thanks to L, i hv a good idea of hw the front gonn's be like. She was so swt, did a mock up for me. Only thing now is to find a pic. Opps... did i say only thing...Gosh.. need to find a picture to put in the front, yar, yar, I know a lot of ppl put their own pictures, but to be honest, hw many ppl actually keep the mass booklet?! I wld b so disappointed to c my hubby and my face on the floor, being trampled on or worse in 'Mr Bin'! To play save, there's not gng to b any pictures of hubby n me on our cards nor mass booklet!

Hm... what kind of picture to put in?? Precious moment? Those pics i soucre fm the net are too small, and the high res don't hv the pic that i want. Stray sheep? Not nice, went thru yest. Sunset? Hm... The possibilities are endless but yet no idea to start looking.. n I HATE to surf net for pics. There's so many and it takes soooo long just to search for tat ideal pic. Mayb it's tm for me to take a break n hubby's turn to find that PERFECT picture to be on our mass booklet?! hahaha.. nw.. tat's a v v good idea..

Yoo Hoo.... Darling... got a teeny weeny favour to ask..
