Most of my sprees have arrived!
The oh-so-adorable-baby-clothes from Old Navy, my dressy top from Forever 21, a little bubble top from some Taiwan webby, all arrived safely via the mailbox. =)
I must say the spree organizers in the sprees are pretty trustworthy, none got lost and there were also timely updates about the items. Pretty responsible spree organizers, I say!
Got the Baby clothes yesterday and it was all so cute. I so wished I have a BB girl too so I can doll her up. But then again, the responsibilities that comes with being a parent is no joke too. So, for the time being, I'll be happy to just look and play with other people's babies. =D
Then I got my Forever 21 dressy top today too. My face fell and heart sank, it looked soooooo small and tiny!!! How do I even fit inside?!?! But I was sooo hot from rushing home, I did not have the chance to try it on.
But after I bathe, immediately, I pull it over myself. HEH!!! Not that bad.. quickly go and twirl and swirl around in front of hubby. He say nice too lei! hahahaha... Happy already!
Now, planning and thinking of a day this week where I can wear it to work! Yay... Plenty of new clothes.
Happy! Happy!!!
Wednesday, July 4
=) Happy!

for the eyes...
When it comes to other things, I'm at times half past six or at other times, then it's maybe slightly better but seldom great and so energetic. But this time, after all the purchases, shopping and $$ spending, I'm getting real good at spending, spending, spending! =(
I've just burst another $300 today!!! Hai... Just like that. *POOF!*
Feeling the pinch already as the credit bills are starting to come in. One bill reads a grand total of close to $1 thousand already.
But to make things more justifiable, the $300 is for my sight. W/o them, I won't be able to see at all. So, it's ok to have spurge and spent right? But, I must say that this is an indulgence, I've just bought half year supply of Daily lens of Bausch & Lomb. I'm using monthly disposables but nothing as convenient and comfortable as wearing and throwing it away after a day. It's especially great for trips and camps and also for spares (when the monthly gets lost or spoilt) since there is NO need to bring solution, case and also the fear that I loose my one and only precious pair of eyes...worse when we go Israel and this happens right?
But unfortunately, I totally forgot about buying it before today and now, I'm caught with the 7% GST hike.
*Double hai*
But the lucky thing is I got my lens from a friend, so it's still at least slightly cheaper than getting it from the retail stores. So still save a teeny, tiny, little bit! =)
Waiting for my eyes to be delivered, definitely in time for our trip. But feeling heart pain since it's another couple of hundred of dollars.

girls' power!
I'm amazed at myself.
Serious!
I can actually BUY things in less than 2 hours and then go clubbing!
Godma jio me shopping yesterday after work and of course will NOT miss out such a chance right?!
So, we hit the towns and within 30 mins, I walked out with yet another tunic. Seems like I've been buying and buying and buying tunics. For the first time in my entire life, I bought myself a pair of leggings too! =) I always think that I have a pair of elephant legs and dare not try leggings, but I finally plucked up the courage to get a pair. Still elephant legs but I guess with long tunics can cover up my fat huge tighs. =(
Then after this buy, there seem to be nothing else anymore. =(
So the best way to break this jinx is to go for food to fill our rambling stomach (mine, at least). In our quest for food, out legs led us to Taka basement and we decided to settle for sausages.
Just look at it! Bockwurst!!!! Wooo!!! I like!!! Served complete with Rosti and onions at $9.20. Cook fresh on the spot. Abit salty since there is no drink that comes with it but still, very nice. Will definitely go back. =)
Pass by Sasa and spent a mini one there, this time with Sunblock (coz Clarins is really way to expensive for me to use daily!), gotten myself a new blush and brush. That's about it.
And by the time, we were done with all these shopping and dinner! I was already late for our clubbing session with my Uni classmates!
Quickly made my way down to Acid Bar to meet up with them and we had lots of booze... Started off with a simple "Snowball" evolved into a Red, then Mer suggested "Truth or Dare" using the now empty red wine bottle and to accompany that, we had a jug of "Long Island". Gosh, by this time, I'm soon-to-be-wasted... and the best part was, we all rounded off the night with a bottle of beer each!
By then, I'm seriously wondering if I'll do the merlion in the cab later...
Thank God, I din do that though!
But, by the time, I'm ready to fall into bed, it was already a quarter past 4... and I woke up rather early today, thanks to Hubby's alarm clock. =(
Haven't done clubbing for a long time, the last time I think was about 3 years ago? Quite fun, but it's such a tiring tiring experience.

I'm a winner =)
Was searching for a memory stick to for my T100 coz the current size is only 512MB. This is WAYYY too small for me when we go to Israel end this year.
But was still thinking if I should get from Sony itself but I soon changed my mind when I realized how much they charge.. so went online to look for something compatible and easier on the pockets.
Saw 1 yesterday and it's $41, sent a query to the seller but he took so long to reply and by the time I wanted to go and bid for his item, I saw a cheaper and SAME one at only $38!
So of course, I won't pick the more expensive item since it's the same right? Moreover the cheaper one comes with a 1 year warranty! Even after I opted for registered mail, it's still at $41! =) Worth!!!
Specs:
High Speed 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo.
Brand new
Transfer Rate:10MB/s (66x)
Warranty: 1 year
Seriously, besides the 2GB bit and 1 year warranty and of course the name, I've no idea what does the transfer rate mean.
But anyway, I think that bit of the information is not important since I'll only be using it for my camera and nothing else anyway. =)
Great! A reasonably priced memory stick @ 2GB! =)

Should I??
I'm beginning to think, when I've just decided to save S-A-V-E $$$, there's sooo many things to tempt me to spend, tempting me to part my precious dollars!!! =(
Hubby received a mailer from Vpost and it got me tempted.
And what may that be right?
THIS!!!!The complete box set of Harry Potter Stamp Collection!
From movie 1 to the soon-to-be-shown Movie 5: Order of the Phoenix.
It's at $60. =(
So now, I'm thinking if I should get it. I'm quite a fan of Harry Potter but not an avid stamp collector. So, even if I get it, it will be lying in the cupboard somewhere right? Furthermore, there's still 2 more movies to go before it is really COMPLETE... so, it's better to wait till all the 7 movies are out and then get right?
I'm quite sure, by that time, Vpost will really make the complete COMPLETE set and sell it. They probably will come up with some other fanciful name for it by some "special limited" thingy.
I guess, I shall wait then... another 2,3 years to go before I'm bothered by this question again.. hahaha....
But then again, this current box set comes with a special limited stamp sheet!!!
Which most probably will not be sold if I were to wait till the 7th movie... HOW???
Details of the Harry Potter stamps can be found here.
If you do buy it, show me horz! Is there any special dates coming up huh? So, I can you know, erm, get that special someone to get it for me lor. =P

must really really save!
Yes! I must really, R-E-A-L-L-Y do that!!!!
Hubby has agreed to go on a 12 Days “Christmas in Bethlehem” Holyland Pilgrimage at the end of this year with me (together with Godma, her hubby and another 2 of her godchildren) and that is going to costs us at least $7.5K already. Which have not include our shopping IN Bethlehem nor in Changi Airport (which I can stock up my entire supply of cosmestics & skincare)....
Not to mention, I've been on a shopping spree for weeks now...The clothes from Ella, Coax, Sense, my Fancl etc...I think, roughly, I've spent a good 4 to 500 by now... And there are still credit card bills of last month not paid at the moment coz the bill is not here yet...
Further more, this afternoon, when hubby and I went for lunch at AMK earlier, I burst another $60 on shampoo and skincare... so I guess, that brings the total expenses closer to the $600 mark.
But the best part is that all I want is the Whitening Serum, but there's some sort of promotion and I get the make up base (green tube) and foundation (brown tube) free, ABSOLUTELY free!!! But the thing is, I don't feel that those 2 tubes are free, I feel that I pay $47 for ALL the tubes! -_-"
And while, I'm typing, my brain is thinking of the Ella in Hub of a certain pair of white pants... and also of Levi's which I heard is having a 60% off, because I've never owned a pair of Levi's in my entire life! While my head (should probably be the left brain - since it's the logic side) is screaming at me to "Just go straight home! Save for the trip"

How?
This got to be the most frequent asked question that I've been hearing since Tuesday!
Almost everyone was asking me "How did you do for the exams?!"
My reply will be, "not too bad." And indeed it was not that bad at all! =)
My average GPA was slightly over 3.6 and I think for a 1st time exam after so long of not going back to school, I'm really very happy with my results. Of course, my friends, some of them score like 4+ GPA but well, I'm not going to compare with them.
I'm happy with my results.
Just hope that I can continue to achieve the same kind of results for the rest of my studies.

Okay. I'm better
After bitching and grumbling and complaining to the rest of the world about how much I detest OBIL and how idiotic his actions are and also after almost a huge fight with hubby over this same man, I'm glad to say that I'm feeling better now.
I've finally come to terms and I guess from now onwards can stop bitching about the shares and the flat issue.
Managed a sort of heart-to-heart talk, though it sounded more like fight with hubby and I told him all I feel about his bro and though he don't agree and he thinks I'm thinking too much and thinking too far ahead, he says he can understand my position and he assures me that his bro is not like what I've made him out to be. -_-"
BUT! Never mind, we can have a difference of opinions but as long as hubby knows and understand my concerns, that's good enough for me.
I guess, it also helped that earlier on while at PIL's plc for dinner, the flat issue was brought up and I've said my piece about the the parents having to sell and stay with OBIL since he used FIL's name to ballot for a flat... and now they know the consequences and also the outcome of OBIL's actions, I'm fine now.
My stand is, "Hey! Your son has done this, you are aware of what's going to happen. I don't care if you don't give me a single cent from the sale of the flat. But please do not come to us at the end of the day and say that you cannot get along with them and want to stay with us."
Hubby thinks I think WAY too far ahead and am thinking too much. Am I? I don't think I am coz this is such a common thing now. Hubby claims that I don't know his bro as he knows his own bro and that I am soooo totally wrong to have come to this conclusion. I guess, time will tell.
But, for the moment, 2 things have been resolved, 1st, OBIL will stop asking / making hubby monitor his shares. 2nd, if he so heng heng manage to get the flat, this time round, he will give up, coz he (according to hubby) did not know that a single person cannot own 2 flats, and since he is not willing to stay with the parents, hence he have no choice but to give up the ballot.
For me, I'm glad.
Earlier on, manage to speak to hubby about how I personally feel towards his bro. It actually hurts hubby lots to hear me speak of him in that way. I can see it on his face. I've always known that hubby is close to his bro. But to be almost blinded so influenced by his bro is something that I think it's not healthy coz hubby is already a man with his own commitments and should learn to draw the line at some point in time.
I'm sorry for hurting you darling. But I really detest it when you allow your bro to come and interfere with our lives or worse, we have to pick up the pieces coz of his actions.
I cannot promise you that I will like or love your bro as much as you do. But I assure you that this issue is over and I shall not raise it again. But, know that if he does it again, by calling or making or asking you to check or monitor his damn shares again, I will not keep quiet.. I'll make a hell lot of noise and I 100% will make sure your parents hear about it too.

Yesterday nothing but....
I was still bothered about what happened between hubby and me yesterday and I was of course in a rather grouchy mood today. Even talking to Godma doesn't help to alleviate the negative feelings I have. Probably, also because today is results release day and I'm feeling very stressed out, worried and definitely uneasy.
Really felt so lousy with yesterday shopping trip that I asked Godma to go to Hub with me, but she already have plans and so, I decided to go alone, and I wanted to stay out till past 2pm, so that when I come back to office, I can check my results immediately.
Went to Hub alone and yesterday I cannot get anything, but today... well... DIFFERENT story altogether sia!!!
Just look at the pictures! The black top was bought yesterday with Godma from "This Fashion". The grey top, got it from "Coax" which is a subsidiary of "This Fashion".2 tops, 1 from yesterday and 1 today. Cheap cheap somemore! =) Can wear to work and also good for casual.
Red and Blue tunic from Coax. The funny thing is, I tried the red one yesterday in the same size and it was too small!!! Yet, today, I can fit nicely in it. Worse, yesterday, I tried BEFORE lunch, and all my clothes, I bought it AFTER lunch lei! Strange hor? Don't know if it's the size or what!
The black tunic is my most expensive purchase for the whole of today. I got it from Sense. I like the material, it's very comfy and cool. But of course more pricy lor. But then again, the total of all my purchases (which includes a black tube), everything is less than $120!!! =D Which works out to be less than $30 a piece! And I've got so many of it. =D Happy! Happy! Hmm.... I must start wearing some of my tunics to work. I guess, I can get away with it if I wear it with long pants! Hm... Maybe, I should go and get a pair of white pants... Shall drop by Ella again. =P They have pants that fits me well though it can be abit pricy...
All these, I got during my short lunch. Really, din take too much extra time. Since I shopped alone, will be quite fast. But after work, I went to J8, I was running low on my skincare and I needed to top up. Within 10 mins in Fancl, I've signed away $120!!! Which, I swear, I did NOT get anything extravagant!!! It's just my daily and routine products!!!I merely got 2 bottles of the washing powder and then the tonner. That's all and it's already $120!!!! My goodness!
Then, I passed by Sasa... and ya... I got 1 more bottle of Cellnique.$69.90! Needless to say anymore right? =(
Then last Wed, I went for a haircut with my sis and after the hair cut, I also manage to get somethings. =)2 tops and a skirt from Ella. Which is very suitable for office. =)
This, is how the combination looks like, if I were to wear it together. Nice hor? Very suitable for office. =)
So, I've got my causal and work clothes settled for at least another month lor... Should go shopping next month? Before the GST hike and before the GSS ends! hahaha...
Guess what?? I got my results today, and I must say, I did better than expected and then, Irene was saying, she was at Hub today and she got a pair of Levi's... which BTW, is having sale up to 60%!!!
I've NEVER owned a pair of Levi's before and so... to reward myself for my not bad results, we made plans to go shopping for a pair of Levi's. Well, for her, it's an extra pair, for me, it'll be my FIRST pair!!! =)
What can I say?? A girl never has enough clothes!
Oh, all those I bought today don't count coz I was feeling lousy, those last week, was to match my new hair cut, and this Friday's will be to reward myself for my rather hard work! ;P

A Monday gone
Yesterday went shopping with Godma but hor, very sad, really! Cause besides eating, eating and MORE eating, we practically bought nothing!
Hai... such a disappointing shopping trip. This IS the first time that such a thing happen! I've never failed to come back with at least 3, 4 bagfuls of clothes and shopping victories! But yesterday, it was JUST 1 top and
a tube of facial scrub!
Gosh!!! How horrible! =(
We walked round Suntec the whole day and nothing but just a top for Godma and myself! Hai...
Shopping wise, there's nothing, but in terms for our stomach, we were filled through and through!
For lunch, we (Bro, Godma and me) went for the 1 hour challenge at Kushin Bo and after such a freeflow-full-to-the-brim-meal of sashimi, sushi, tempura, desserts, we call it quits. Settled the bill and then we went to find a place to just chill out and chat.
We found a nice cozy place in Anderson's Ice Cream.
Where we sat down to enjoy 3 scoops of "Rum & Rasins", "Belgium Chocolate" and "Macadamia Nuts" in crisp chocolate waffle. It tastes heavenly!!! Especially the "rum & rasins" it has always been my favorite flavor after Chocolate, of course. =)
After bro left, we continued to walk around in the hope to find something... But, ya. N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!!
Decided to call it a day and Jeff was in Suntec then. He brought us to "Ah Chew Dessert" and we had dessert somewhere along Bugis, which is actually opposite Bridal Concept! Gosh.. All those times that Hubby and I were there, we never realized that this dessert stall is SO famous! =/ So, after Japanese freeflow, we had Ice-cream and then now, desserts.
Lots of food but no buys, walked around abit but I guessed it's not enough for us to work off all those calories.
Felt so darn full from all these feasting and then Hubby and I went for a movie at PS.
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Nice show! Really. The silver surfer is very cool!!! Metallic and with powers so great that he can literally almost destroy the world. This is not cool la, but I like his attire or lack of one... hahaha.... The show is nice but the relationship between hubby and me when we were watching the movie was even colder than the metallic body of the surfer.
Hai... and what happened between us is cause of my OBIL!
I really really really hate it. If it's coz of something between hubby and me and we argue and have a tiff, fine. It's natural between husband and wife. But because of some brainless actions of OBIL that we were upset and throughly at each other (or rather, ME, at least!) is soooo totally unnecessary!!! ARGH!
And what was the big issue that got me so worked up? OBIL actually sms hubby bright and early to "wake up and monitor prices of shares. Send him the opening price and monitor OCBC account, cause it's always cannot make it!"
Damn!!!!
He's the person playing with shares, it's his own responsibility to do whatever that is necessary to monitor and not drag hubby into it!
I'm so pissed off at OBIL and also at hubby. At hubby coz, he promised me that he will not do it for him again, but he still did and also cause, he don't have the nerve to say 'No' to his Bro!
Argh!!! So pissed yesterday but now, ok already. We have resolved the issue. But still sore that coz of this idiot 3rd party, our marriage is affected. We are always having tiffs because his bro make him check shares and I'm not happy because of it!
I don't care that OBIL plays shares, it's his problem, not ours. But he don't involve hubby. Shares are for the rich and also it's a form of gambling, why must make hubby do it? Why must tempt Hubby?!
ARGH!!!!!
So tell me, isn't my OBIL an idiot??!!

A day of freebies =)
Free lunch at Grassroots club, Gim Tim Chinese restaurant. And the 3 of us polished off so much food since it was al-la carte buffet. You just order from the existing list that is given.
Then was given a pair of hand made earrings. =)
Best of all, the envelopes that was bothering me for the last few days was approved today and the vendor manage to deliver it to me within the same day! Because of the highly efficient staff and vendor, I've also manage to sort, staple, fold and insert the letters to the schools (154 of them!) into the envelopes today!
Come tomorrow, I can ask my colleagues to frank and mail it all out!
Yay... finished this piece of work by today. =)
A happy day, free lunch, earrings and manage to finished all my work! What can be better than a day like this? =D

I can't wait for MONDAY to come!
I'm waiting for Monday to come.
Taken a full day leave so that I can pamper myself with some much needed retail therapy to recharge and also plenty of good food, laughter and just to get away from the office and relax and to not think of work at all.
Going to head town with Godma to cheong and to replenish our cannot-wear-coz-we-are-both-too-fat-clothes.
Hopefully, there'll be some clothes that we can fit and look good in!

I'm feeling...all the negatives...
I'm feeling restless, moody, tired, grouchy, worried, fraustrated, angry, annoyed, irriated, incensed, infuriated, upset, perturbed....
Not sure what happened to make me fall into this big, black, deep hole.
I know I'm not in the best of moods these days, I'm trying to keep it under control... But I can feel that it's simmering, simmering... just something or someone can make me blow...
I'm not upset at hubby or anything, it's just maybe, so so so so so sick of work that I feel ready to throw in the towel!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never enough heels.
I've recently bought 2 pairs of heels... It seems I'm forever buying heels... But what to do? My heels seem not to last me for long period. Hubby commented, I might as well buy a good pair and make it last. But I'm not willing to pay so much for A pair of heels, since I would rather have more so I can play around and match my clothings. Not to mention, these kind of more pricey heels would either be court shoes or "blink blink" shoes... which is too hot for me to wear daily to work and also too formal to wear to work.
So, in the end, I got this pair from Charles & Keith last week, which I've no time to post up.Looks formal enough for me to wear when I'm on my graduation duty few weeks from now. I'll be on stage being a 'pusher' as usual. =( What I like about this pair is that, the heels is only less than an inch. =) That should make me standing on the stage for 2 hours easier!
Then yesterday, while out with Hubby in Vivo, I got this.
10% storewide + 10% for Members' or UOB credit card holders. =) So, I got 20% off in total and then there's some extra points in my card which I claimed and in total, I only paid slightly over $23!
I've noticed though my heels don't last that long, but U.R.S shoes can last me longer as compared to Charles even though it's slightly more expensive. But with the discounts now, it's very worth it! =)
So, in 2 weeks, 2 new pairs of shoes. =) AND, I still have NOT began shopping in earnest since GSS began!

I made a purchase..
hee.... I've been aiming some tops from Forever 21 and I finally made an online purchase today! =D
3/4 sleeves Garden Top
if this goes out of stock then I'm gonna get this.
Beverly Top.
Though I've ordered from the online website, inclusive of shipment (shared!) it's only slightly over $33! I found the exact piece in the retail shop earlier on, and guess how much? $48 lor! For a dressy top!
So, I've managed to convince hubby, it's better for me to do my shopping online and via sprees now, since I love shopping too much to give it up and since I must shop, might as well save some $$ in the process as well! =D

sway sotong
I'm a bit of a sotong usually but today is definately when I'm at my worst! -_-"
I went ahead to make lunch appointments with 2 different group of people!!! Wah lau.. need to split myself up to get through it.
One was a group of lectuers, they wanna buy me lunch coz of a programme that I've recently helped them in. So, they very kindly arranged lunch for today.
Then, I arranged with Godma to visit Lyn in hospital during lunch time too!
DANG!!! How to get thru it? Hai.. in the end, I had to push the lecturers away to another day and go visit Lyn since she'll be discharged tomorrow.
SOTONG right? Hai.. and this morning, when I was already so late for work, I got onto a bus which had to break down halfway, barely making to the next bus stop. Sway!
But then again, the next bus came barely after a minute later, and we were all given full refunds and even a complimentary bus ride ticket. So not so bad after all right? Lucky it came almost immediately hence I was just about 15 minutes late for work which is usually quite forgiveable. =)
Since, I was so late, definately no bf this morning, so what could I do? Went for a quite bite at during tea earlier and gotten myself a sandwich which is just as well coz, I just came back from the hospital and yups, no food. So, just nice, the sandwich manage to last me till now and probably for a good 30 minutes more, before I go and buy some proper food for myself.
Things are definately looking good especially since there was a lift back to office earlier and I'm not that hungry.
Goody goody! Things are not as 'sway' as I think it is after all! Hope this streaks continues for the rest of the day and I'll be one happy sotong! =D
Ohhh.. BTW, hubby promised he'll buy me a Ramly Burger for dinner tonite after his usual jog. What can I say?? Things are definately GOOD!

a FOOD entry
Hubby is also sort of influenced by me and we've been eating from Subway more often these days. I guess, this is a healthier choice as compared to our usual Mos Burger, Mac & KFC right? In addition to the healthy and yummy sandwich, I love the cookies from Subway too! Especially the double chocolate chip cookie! Gosh.. It's really really good, except that I find it a tad too sweet. But nevertheless, GOOD!
And by now, you probably already know that one of the coffeeshop near my plc has just been renovated and revamped and hubby and I have been going there quite often.
Cannot remember when, but hubby and I had "ngiow hiang" for 1 of our meal.
Besides this, we have already tried the roast meat, the chili is very good and that store is always always long queue!
I also like the fish soup that's available. The soup is very sweet and if that's too common, try the "XO bee hoon" for extra taste! And they also hv the fish either in slices or fried or fish head (which I don't like) but they have different kind of noodles to go with the various cuts of fish.
There's this new Indian foodstall and I've raved about their brayni before, but wait till you try the mutabak! Wah sey!!! The hot and crispy and onions and egg taste that oozes out from the bite coupled with the thick curry that goes with it. It's SHIOK I tell you! It's the best mutabak that I've tasted so far! Yummy!!!
Then there's the popiah and zhui kueh stall which has been here all the time. I'm glad that they din shift out after the renovation. Hubby and I love to go for a morning breakfast of zhui kueh on Sunday mornings before we head out to Church. But of course, we can't have it too often, else, really growing too sideways.. =(
All these food I mentioned, are just from 1 coffeeshop... and there's 3 withing walking distance from where I'm staying! Can you imagine, the amout of good food that's so easily available to hubby and me? Is it any small wonder now that we are both growing sideways? Not to mention, there's a pasar malam that stretches from 1 bus stop to the other now just downstairs... I can almost smell the Ramly Burgers, Taiwan sausages, chicken wings, snacks and others....

I can't wait to try this!
Does it look strange? 2 plastic things to be worn on the big toes?
It's supposed to be a slimming product! Wear it on ur toes and helps to massage some points on your legs that helps to loose weight! =D
I hope it works. I really do!
I totally have no time to exercise. Unless I wanna wake up at ungodly hour like 5am to do Yoga before work... or Yoga at 7pm and then have dinner late at night along the line of 9pm! DUH... Don't seem to work either way! And I'm not keen to try all those slimming pills and all after the slim 10 case... yikes!
And just yesterday, my colleague was asking me if I'm getting ready for pregnancy coz I seem to have put on weight. =.=" Maybe that is a more polite way of asking if I'm pregnant lor. hai....
THIS product BETTER work!

What an expensive day...
But don't you think the PINK cover is VERY nice?? =D
I must say that the company has put in a fair bit of effort into this product. There is a Quality Seal on the bottle and I was thinking, so troublesome lei, so many seals to remove as there was already one on the Pink Cover. =/
I was abit impressed lei! First time see Quality Seals like that lei.
But hubby laughed at me and teased me lor... =(
I like pale shimmer for cheeks coz with just 1 application, I can go to an evening function easily! Or I can just use it as highligher on parts of my face. I like! =)
Back to Sketches... the food is not too bad. I like their prawn salad and also the jumbo platter. Prawns are fresh. Pasta is not too bad. What I like is that you can customised your own pasta and it's coined "Designer Pasta."
We had quite a lot of food. Shared the prawn salad and jumbo platter and we each have a plate of pasta each.My designer pasta is named "Sharon" (after myself of course!) and I had the Fettuccine and Ravioli with Black Olives, Bacon, Mushrooms, Chicken & Baby Clams drowned in Marinara sauce thicken ladden with squids and prawns accompanimed by grated Parmesan Cheese and Pine Nuts! All these for
But hor, I won't recommend to go to this place, maybe it's coz it's the day before PH so the staff are shorthanded. But still, I feel the service there is quite lousy.
We asked for ice water and they said, it will be delivered together with the food yet, when our food came, there was no ice water... and when Tri and my designer pasta came, it was wrong! They actually had to re-deliver it and they were still unsure of the order. And the most ironic was that they actually asked us to stir the plate of pasta to confirm that it's right!
Wah lau!!!
Service is sucks mann! Pricing is ok lar. The 3 of us with all those food, came up to a bill of $70+ and that works out to be close to maybe $23 each?
Yuin's bday was this month and both Tri and I gave her a treat as Bday present coz we are not sure what she likes lor.. hahaha...
I think I overate...gosh.. Now I can feel my stomach rumbling again though I've taken my medicine. =(
I went to the doc this morning and after the check, she says that I have too much gas and acid in my stomach and gave me a bagful of medicine which costs me a freaking $50!!! My goodness! Doctors here are really expensive!
So just in a day... I've spent over $160!!! =(
