4th day into poxy..

Monday! For the longest time ever, this is the 1st time that I do not have Monday Blues =) Y? Coz I'm still on MC!! hahahahahah... fm the pox pox... hai... actually I think it's not so bad coz I think the pox-es are done growing, so now, they are either turning into bubbles or if not into pus... hubby says the condition has worsen coz of the pus... but I am not sure. Coz my in-laws came ov to our hse last nite. (They are so swt!! MIL actually cook porridge and bring over for us for dinner!)

On seeing me, she only says, hm... shd be recovering and reminded me not to scratch it and she says I do not seem to have as many pox as hubby when he got it. She did not mention abt the pus so I guess, it's normal... They stayed quite a while here so we just chat n watch TV while they do the OTO massage... They seemed surprised that we have this machine... hm.....

Anyway, my mother came over this morning, bringing with her, the water chestnut n sugar cane for me to make "liang teh" I seem to be drowing myself in "liang teh" n "coconut" drinks. I usually boil 1 big pot of the "liang teh" everyday and eat 2 coconut in a day!! My goodness... think the chicky pox is really a "heaty" affair coz i need soooo much "cooling" food!! But I do enjoy eating the coconut.. cold n nice! Yummy yummy!!

Towards the afternoon, colleagues start calling up to ask me abt work, I'm not surprised and neither am I irriated abt it. If they don't call, I will be worried! Coz I'm leaving behind 2 solid weeks of programmes which starts tomorrow for them to handle whille all these while, I have been doing everything. If no one calls me, i will think that either my role at work is can be dealt away with or they are v v good, which also brings back to the issue that I can be dealt away with! So overall, I am v v happy that they called and need my inputs here and there! kekekeke.. guess.. I am still abit important? ;P

These few days at home has settled into a sort of routine in a way... morning wake up, prepare hubby's bf (yar, even though i am dw wif pox!! Good wifey huh? hahahaha) then will sit wif him as he eats n the he goes off, while I will go back to bed n snooze for a while mre coz most of the time I have problems sleeping at nite.. I hope it was because for the last few nights the pox were really really giving me problems. (There was 1 night, I woke up at 2 am and can't slp till 10+pm the next day!!)

I will wake up later in the morning then eat my bf and just laze arnd the hse n do sme light cleaning... dun want to do anything too much coz afraid that I may burst the pox by accident, so will just watch TV, read books n generally laze. Can't even surf net in the afternoon coz we have yet to apply for our access and we can do so now is coz we tap others'... =P

By evening, after hubby comes hm will also be time to prepare simple dinner, dinner for me is just porridge... think I am getting the hang of making porridge.. the way I like it! The thick, gluey kind... hahahahaha.. dinner for hubby is just rice.. n he will buy sme dishes fm food stores n eat.. though for the last 2 days, he is living on hotdogs... must get him to change.. too much sodium those hotdogs.

Kind of loose track which day is which, today feels like a week end except that no hubby arnd with me... N i spend the time same as the way I spend the wk ends. Kind of getting bored with life liao.. but still no choice coz the pox are there and I am contagious, I simply CANNOT go anywhere!! =(

My MC will be till 28 Oct, that will be the day where I can officially step out of the house and am not contagious anymore... but then again, how is any1 gng to define if I am still contagious?! hm.... anyway... my MC ends on 28 Oct and I leaving SG on 30 Oct.. I really cannot wait for the MC to end.. hai..
