Never enough heels.

I've recently bought 2 pairs of heels... It seems I'm forever buying heels... But what to do? My heels seem not to last me for long period. Hubby commented, I might as well buy a good pair and make it last. But I'm not willing to pay so much for A pair of heels, since I would rather have more so I can play around and match my clothings. Not to mention, these kind of more pricey heels would either be court shoes or "blink blink" shoes... which is too hot for me to wear daily to work and also too formal to wear to work.

So, in the end, I got this pair from Charles & Keith last week, which I've no time to post up.
Looks formal enough for me to wear when I'm on my graduation duty few weeks from now. I'll be on stage being a 'pusher' as usual. =( What I like about this pair is that, the heels is only less than an inch. =) That should make me standing on the stage for 2 hours easier!

Then yesterday, while out with Hubby in Vivo, I got this.10% storewide + 10% for Members' or UOB credit card holders. =) So, I got 20% off in total and then there's some extra points in my card which I claimed and in total, I only paid slightly over $23!

I've noticed though my heels don't last that long, but U.R.S shoes can last me longer as compared to Charles even though it's slightly more expensive. But with the discounts now, it's very worth it! =)

So, in 2 weeks, 2 new pairs of shoes. =) AND, I still have NOT began shopping in earnest since GSS began!

Beverly Top.Though I've ordered from the online website, inclusive of shipment (shared!) it's only slightly over $33! I found the exact piece in the retail shop earlier on, and guess how much? $48 lor! For a dressy top!

So, I've managed to convince hubby, it's better for me to do my shopping online and via sprees now, since I love shopping too much to give it up and since I must shop, might as well save some $$ in the process as well! =D

I'm a bit of a sotong usually but today is definately when I'm at my worst! -_-"

I went ahead to make lunch appointments with 2 different group of people!!! Wah lau.. need to split myself up to get through it.

One was a group of lectuers, they wanna buy me lunch coz of a programme that I've recently helped them in. So, they very kindly arranged lunch for today.

Then, I arranged with Godma to visit Lyn in hospital during lunch time too!

DANG!!! How to get thru it? Hai.. in the end, I had to push the lecturers away to another day and go visit Lyn since she'll be discharged tomorrow.

SOTONG right? Hai.. and this morning, when I was already so late for work, I got onto a bus which had to break down halfway, barely making to the next bus stop. Sway!

But then again, the next bus came barely after a minute later, and we were all given full refunds and even a complimentary bus ride ticket. So not so bad after all right? Lucky it came almost immediately hence I was just about 15 minutes late for work which is usually quite forgiveable. =)

Since, I was so late, definately no bf this morning, so what could I do? Went for a quite bite at during tea earlier and gotten myself a sandwich which is just as well coz, I just came back from the hospital and yups, no food. So, just nice, the sandwich manage to last me till now and probably for a good 30 minutes more, before I go and buy some proper food for myself.

Things are definately looking good especially since there was a lift back to office earlier and I'm not that hungry.

Goody goody! Things are not as 'sway' as I think it is after all! Hope this streaks continues for the rest of the day and I'll be one happy sotong! =D

Ohhh.. BTW, hubby promised he'll buy me a Ramly Burger for dinner tonite after his usual jog. What can I say?? Things are definately GOOD!

a FOOD entry

I've been frequenting this food outlet recently which I eat lots of "less than 6 grams of fat" sandwiches, salads and COOKIES! Hubby is also sort of influenced by me and we've been eating from Subway more often these days. I guess, this is a healthier choice as compared to our usual Mos Burger, Mac & KFC right?

In addition to the healthy and yummy sandwich, I love the cookies from Subway too! Especially the double chocolate chip cookie! Gosh.. It's really really good, except that I find it a tad too sweet. But nevertheless, GOOD!

And by now, you probably already know that one of the coffeeshop near my plc has just been renovated and revamped and hubby and I have been going there quite often.

Cannot remember when, but hubby and I had "ngiow hiang" for 1 of our meal. Freaking expensive! Like that costs us close to $10! BLEH! But hor, I like the been hoon and the crunchy things that we ordered.

Besides this, we have already tried the roast meat, the chili is very good and that store is always always long queue!

I also like the fish soup that's available. The soup is very sweet and if that's too common, try the "XO bee hoon" for extra taste! And they also hv the fish either in slices or fried or fish head (which I don't like) but they have different kind of noodles to go with the various cuts of fish.

There's this new Indian foodstall and I've raved about their brayni before, but wait till you try the mutabak! Wah sey!!! The hot and crispy and onions and egg taste that oozes out from the bite coupled with the thick curry that goes with it. It's SHIOK I tell you! It's the best mutabak that I've tasted so far! Yummy!!!

Then there's the popiah and zhui kueh stall which has been here all the time. I'm glad that they din shift out after the renovation. Hubby and I love to go for a morning breakfast of zhui kueh on Sunday mornings before we head out to Church. But of course, we can't have it too often, else, really growing too sideways.. =(

All these food I mentioned, are just from 1 coffeeshop... and there's 3 withing walking distance from where I'm staying! Can you imagine, the amout of good food that's so easily available to hubby and me? Is it any small wonder now that we are both growing sideways? Not to mention, there's a pasar malam that stretches from 1 bus stop to the other now just downstairs... I can almost smell the Ramly Burgers, Taiwan sausages, chicken wings, snacks and others....

I can't wait to try this!

I totally have no time to exercise. Unless I wanna wake up at ungodly hour like 5am to do Yoga before work... or Yoga at 7pm and then have dinner late at night along the line of 9pm! DUH... What an expensive day...

Dinner was with my girlies at Sketches in Bugis. First time I went there and it was Tri's suggestion that brought us there.

But since I was the earliest and Sasa was round the corner, I decided to drop in coz my beautician recommended "Cellnique, Pro Sebum Gel" and while browsing around I got a pearl shimmer for my cheeks.. in less than 15 mins, $85 flew... =/... Just like that! =(

But don't you think the PINK cover is VERY nice?? =DPRO SEBUM GEL is a gentle formula designed for comedogenic, oily and combination skin types to reduce both blackheads and whiteheads. It also reduces oil secretion, leaving the skin clean and clear.

According to my beautician, (her colleagues have been using this and vast improvements!) this gel can help to remove blackheads and even the pores will become smaller! Like so miraculous so must try and there is "$$$ back guaranteed!" So, ya, must try!

I must say that the company has put in a fair bit of effort into this product. There is a Quality Seal on the bottle and I was thinking, so troublesome lei, so many seals to remove as there was already one on the Pink Cover. =/ Before tearing off the quality seal. After tearing off, there are still marks on it...

I was abit impressed lei! First time see Quality Seals like that lei.

But hubby laughed at me and teased me lor... =(

I like pale shimmer for cheeks coz with just 1 application, I can go to an evening function easily! Or I can just use it as highligher on parts of my face. I like! =) This was supposed to be the "Best Seller" in Japan currently!

Back to Sketches... the food is not too bad. I like their prawn salad and also the jumbo platter. Prawns are fresh. Pasta is not too bad. What I like is that you can customised your own pasta and it's coined "Designer Pasta."We had quite a lot of food. Shared the prawn salad and jumbo platter and we each have a plate of pasta each.

My designer pasta is named "Sharon" (after myself of course!) and I had the Fettuccine and Ravioli with Black Olives, Bacon, Mushrooms, Chicken & Baby Clams drowned in Marinara sauce thicken ladden with squids and prawns accompanimed by grated Parmesan Cheese and Pine Nuts! All these for a mere $11.50+++!

But hor, I won't recommend to go to this place, maybe it's coz it's the day before PH so the staff are shorthanded. But still, I feel the service there is quite lousy.

We asked for ice water and they said, it will be delivered together with the food yet, when our food came, there was no ice water... and when Tri and my designer pasta came, it was wrong! They actually had to re-deliver it and they were still unsure of the order. And the most ironic was that they actually asked us to stir the plate of pasta to confirm that it's right!

Wah lau!!!

Service is sucks mann! Pricing is ok lar. The 3 of us with all those food, came up to a bill of $70+ and that works out to be close to maybe $23 each?

Yuin's bday was this month and both Tri and I gave her a treat as Bday present coz we are not sure what she likes lor.. hahaha...Happy Tri with her designer pasta order.

I think I overate...gosh.. Now I can feel my stomach rumbling again though I've taken my medicine. =(

I went to the doc this morning and after the check, she says that I have too much gas and acid in my stomach and gave me a bagful of medicine which costs me a freaking $50!!! My goodness! Doctors here are really expensive!

So just in a day... I've spent over $160!!! =(

The mommy of my Godchild was telling me this morning that they had posted all the clothes that they had bought for Clara onto the blog.. so I had to go and take a look. So pretty!!! And I was so tempted to buy too... so there I went in search of BB clothes...

Nah... Don't get me wrong, I'm buying for other ppl's BB! Well, one of them is not "other ppl" la, but my Godchild =)

Was browsing thru the online sprees and saw from one of the webby that there were BB clothings and such cutsey little dresses. I had to get them!

Now, asking Clara's mommy to choose which 3 she like best and I'll give the other piece to Naomi.

I'm hoping to get a few days of MC this week... can I??

I'm feeling tired from the exam and study stress of last week and the moment of heading back to office, was busy with the school visit and had no chance to rest at all.

Can I just go to the doc and ask for MC? 1 day will be nice, 2 days will be even better and if it's 3 days.... Total BLISS~ =D

After all, Thursday is a PH and I'm on leave on Friday... so can you imagine if I'm given a 3 day MC?

Wahahahahaha....

Then it will be the WHOLE week off!!!

Friday was this "family day thingy" so instead of going off at 5.30pm as per usual, we could go off at 5pm.

I was slightly nervous that the courier won't be able to deliver my hp to me before 5 and I have to wait and waste precious mintues in office instead of out gallvanting! hahaha...

The courier came at about 4pm. Wah! Happy. Happy! Can go off on time and have new hp to play already.

I guess, it's time to reveal which model I've bought. Nokia 6300.

=/ Not really a phone of my choice. But then again, at the rate of $168, what more can I ask?

Personally, don't quite like Nokia hp's anymore... looks ugly and bulky, but this model is really quite slim. Live with it lar especially when my V3i was only less than 18 months old...

And you know what's the most ironic thing?!?

Turns out that it's not my V3i that is faulty, it's my SIM card!!! Argh!!! I put in the SIM into the 6300 and it doesn't work then tried it on hubby's hp and it don't work too!

No wonder my V3i is giving me problems! arggh!!!

Called up Singtel and requested for a new SIM card last night at close to 10pm and this morning at 10am, they deliver the new SIM to me!Very efficient, I must say.

So now, I have a brand new 6300 which I wasted my $ on coz my V3i is working fine! ARGH!!!!!!!!!

My sis actually called me "Stupid" coz I din check my hp. But the thing is, "Hello! The silly SIM in INSIDE the hp lor, how would I know INSIDE the hp, SIM card also can spoil?"

Wah lau eh.

Bday lunchie

Celebrated Bro's bday in Soup Restaurant earlier today. And to solve everyone's transport issue, we just go to the branch in the hub.

Call me sua ku la.. But really, have never been into any Soup Restaurant before lor.

We had quite few dishes... what "Ah Gong" veg, some ribs, sliced fish and also Mee Sua... Not bad la.. But not fanastic... Don't really like.

But! I must say their "Samsui Chicken" is very very good!!! Nice!! Smooth white chicken dipped into the home made special ginger sauce, either wrapped in lettuce or eaten plain... Woah! Shiok! Very nice!Must go back and eat again. Really like it.

But hor, not cheap lei. Just the 3 of us, costs slightly over $80. Once a while it's ok la, but cannot eat often. Too expensive.

Really jia liat lei... This afternoon is such a good lunchie... later this evening is another good dinner coz going for dinner with Hubby at Chef Chan's... How not to grow fat huh?

The whole of today, it just keeps shutting down, start up again, down, up, down and up again and again.

I cannot even type 1 sms in peace!!! Argh!!! Halfway, it will restart. Over and over!!!

Even when I just leave it there, clam shut, it can restart by itself!

It's driving me crazy!!!

And I cannot even trade in, coz it's so horribly cheap now. $100! Bleh!!!

Worse of all, the hp's now are so ugly, I cannot even find 1 that I like!

ohh... Mr Postman, I've been waiting

Woke up at 8.30 am in my eagerness to receive my bag from Mr Postman. Was so eager to get it and so afraid that I'll miss him that I can't get to sleep. Serious!

But waited till 10++am and he's still not here, so no choice, had to wake up hubby to get him to wait for the post while I go do some marketing.

Came back, and he's still NOT here! =(

And he finally came at 2.30pm, just minutes after I woke up from my nap, by then, hubby has already gone to CTK for the last session of the Guided Prayer. I took the time to do some read up for my exams and also did some hse work before going to meet hubby for mass.

Will be hitting town later for the "sale that is worth waiting for". Hopefully, can get some good buys!

Just came back from lunch with Irene and woo hoo... boy was it a good lunch!!

And this was just the set lunch. We had the main course of Cream of Mushroom, Breaded Fish, Ice peach tea, a single scoop of Chocolate Ice cream topped off with free flow of home made goodness bread.

All these for just a mere $9.50 nett!

Darn shiok and worth!

Think I'm really be in trouble soon looking at the way I spend. Spend. SPEND! I probably should enroll myself into so 'implusive buying club in an attempt to stop myself from buying any more. =(

And my latest buy is this wonderful crytstal eyelash gadget that guaratees you to have longer, thicker eyelashes IMMEDIATELY. Sort of like a template for the eyelashes. I've no problems with the upper eyelash, but it's those undereye lashes that's proving to be a challenge. Hope this little thing can safe me, or rather my eyelashes.

I've also placed reservation for this. Face Rollers.

Guaranteed to give me a smaller slimmer face IF I use it dilligently.

Hubby went to met his MM friends for don't know what discussion and I din feel like eating outside food.

So in 30 mins, I came up with dinner for myself!

Quite proud of myself lei! haha.. coz there was almost nothing at home for me to experiment with.

So I just boil some pasta, throw in some sliced mushrooms. Topped it off with basil leaves and bacon bits, too lazy to even steam the chicken wings, just wrapped it in foil and throw into the oven for 20 mins. Went to bathe and VOILA!
A pity that there was no veggies at home. Else it would have been a rather balanced and healthy meal! I was afraid to stain the table, so being the lazy me, just shifted the existing reading materials to form the base. hahaha... really is very super duper lazy.

But ok la, how wrong can I go with the above anyway?

Had the last class tonite and the tutor was sort of going thru the last TMA.

As usual, he will give out "kit kat" awards to those who done well, improve most, most quotable quote, best written etc etc... Usually, there'll be a whole lot of kit kats being handed out.

I stared at the board and was rather sad to not see my name but Mer's name was there. Good for him! He got the most consistent and improvement kit kat.

But since today was the LAST class of the module, the tutor have a special award for the best student.

Well, quote and unquote him "The best student may not have the best results but is overal participation and for this, I have the "Cookie Award".

I was one of those who laughed out loud.

Imagine my suprise when I saw my name on that board?!

Chocolates

I've been receiving lots of chocolates recently. =D

Sak came back from Aust and got me this. My sis knowing that I'm a snacker and in love with chocolates gave me this. Which looks like this before I bite into it... A long dark stick which screams "bite me!" "BITE ME NOW!!!"

Which looks like thiswhen I bite into it. INNER and OUTER coats of chocolates! Shiok tilll..... wah lau... Cannot describe the feeling mannz.

a June wedding

Remember I was saying that I'm very happy with an upcoming wedding in June?

Well, we got the wedding invite recently. Nice right? Blame my photography skills for not giving the card it's full glory.

And I'm soooo happy for the couple!!!
I really like the card, I find it very pretty and unique, like a window opening up to reveal the details. So pretty and like there's surprises waiting within to be discovered!

I'm happy for her that she has gotton over that OBIL of mine and is ready to embrace her new life.

Will take lots of photos with her to show how pretty she is during the wedding!

The people these days...

...are really ironic.

I went for my facial earlier and while waiting for the bus home, this car stopped at the bus stop to let his passenger off. There's nothing wrong with that of course!

The only thing is, there were lots of traffic and the female passenger took her own sweet time in getting off the car! Blocked the traffic. Bleh! Then this is the inconvenient and frausting part.

This same lady then got onto the same bus as me. Good for her, she manage to get a seat and was happily enjoying her MP3 music, while I happily watched the repeat telecast on Mobile TV.

What happened next is darn darn irriating and so darn ironic!!!

She started talking on her HP and was speaking so loudly that the whole bus can hear her!!!

I stared at her and also shook my head. She saw it and guess what? She reported back to her friend on the other line saying...

"wah lau, there's this idiot who stared at me and then shook her head....how I know ar? Could be because I was talking abit too loudly.... what the hell... this is a public space, I can speak what I want and talk as loudly as I want...."

Hahahaha... I know she's referring to me, of course, coz I was the only person who stared at her. But I find it so ironic and so laughable!

She knows she's talking too loudly and this IS a public space and she carries on. hahahahaha...

The people on the bus can do the judgement on their own.

I rest my case.

Are you aware that "Seiyu" has now closed down and taken over by some I-don't-know-what-company?

And the company has renamed "Seiyu" into "BHG"??

And do you know what "BHG" stands for? I bet you don't.

It stands for "Be Here for Good things"

I read from an article, that the Japanese sold Seiyu to Captial land and they in turn sold to some China company.... which later renamed it to this damn lame, obiang and don't make sense name.

Seiyu sounds just fine... now it sounds soooo cheapo!
