I hit town today with the sole intention of picking up my reservations at Tangs and to check out just 1 item of the Benefits Cosmetics.
And the lessons learn are:
1) NEVER trust myself to go to any shopping malls alone.
2) NEVER pick up my own reservations.
3) NEVER pre-decide what I want to get. Usually happens that I say just get this and I end up with more.
I broke every single thing up there and the damage is really heart wrenching. =(
I got these from Tangs. Warcoal lingerie and Benefit Cosmetics. Yups, that's all I got from Tangs and the damage was over $400! *Piangz* I should have bought the That Gal, Primer from US. Cheaper! Argh! Forgot at that moment.
Seems too little items to cost more than $400? Well, put it this way, I now own enough lingerie to last me for the next 2 years. That sorts of quantifies, justify, whatever "i-fy" the amount since we all know how expensive ladies' lingerie are. And after spending ALL that money, I got immediate application to the new Tangs card and 2 umbrellas from Warcoal. Long and short.
I decided to get my ass and purse out of Orchard FAST! and I went to my next destination, Ikea after that.
Took a bus and bump all the way down. Thank God, it was a rather quick ride. Else, without lunch, I'm sure I'll be doing a merlion right there in the bus.
Of course, in Ikea, how can I missed the meatballs and chicken wings right? The only thing is, I'm alone, so I cannot order too much. Else it'll be wasted. By the time I reached the cafe and settled down, it was already 2.30pm. Very very hungry, I managed to devour almost all the spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce and 2 chicken wings. =P The meatballs still go better with their original sauce, the tomato sauce tasted weird.
Anyway, I've satisfy my cravings and after a rest, it's time for me to go and get what I came for. To make up for the guilt, I did not have dinner. So it's a 2 meal thing, I figured the fats spread over 2 meals is better than all in 1 meal.
I'm looking for their Christmas wrappers. Usually they have very nice and cheap ones. So, I'm on a quest! Not sure if it's still too early? The wrappers not so nice.... but I do not have time to come back again, so I just get whatever they have.
I heard they have very very comfy bedroom slippers and I wanted to get it too since it's very affordable and mine's wearing out.
After walking round level 1 many rounds hoping to catch some Christmas things that I may have missed out, I finally decided to call it a day and head for home.
Loot at Ikea was quite disappointing. I thought I'll buy lots of stuff, but I only got these! Oh... I decided to get that plastic wastepaper basket for the study room too. Cause, I'm sooo sick of having to walk in and out just to throw rubbish!
And the damage, only slightly over $26! Not inclusive of my lunch la. This must be the cheapest ever shopping at Ikea!
Anyway, pictures of yesterday's loot.
3 pairs of heels from URS. Ya... Black and Brown are same design. I need both color heels and this particular pair's cuttings suits my feet very well, so get both. The fact is that I've worn out a pair of Black previously, and this is like a re-order! hahahahaha... Middle pair is the one that is at a mere $20. SO how to miss it right?!
I've been searching for this since I saw it early this year or did I see it late last year? Anyway, at that point in time, I already wanted to make. Was already choosing design and hubby say so childish, so I did not.
But now, seeing it again, I decided if I missed it again, I'm not doing justice to myself, so I went ahead.
I wanted my all time favorite, Tare Panda. But they don't have, so I settled for my second favorite, Piglet. But they don't have much of him either.
Hence, the best is just to mix and get a bit of everything and still have my choices. So cute right?! =) I'm gonna stick them on my textbooks, study guides, lecture notes and hmm.... I'll find something and somewhere to stick them anyway, I planned to do this when I first saw it but hubby say too cutesy.
Chey! Should not have listened to him then lei. One of my classmate also did the same! She has it on her pens even! Now, I've missed out sticking it on 1 whole year's worth of text or maybe stationery!
For $7, I got 72 pieces of individual stickers all personalized with my name. It comes pack in a cute plastic folder too! Happy lor. Even though some call it "act cute" whatever la. As long as I like. So what if others find it not to their liking right?
And from Clarins, I got a Clay Mask and my usual Blemish Control from the "Truly Matt Series", whatever it means...
$75.
What can I say? Beauty comes at a price. And a rather steep price so to add.
So in a mere matter of 2 days, I'm poorer by almost $600. It's another 2 weeks to pay day and my last credit bill is an almost massive $1900, which thank God again, most of it are joint expenses, so means I don't have pay all of it on my own. =)

Nearing to Christmas...
Honestly, I'm terrified to hit town nowadays. The crowd, the lack of space to try on anything, the mad rush to take, try and pay and the worse of all is the temptations that comes and oozes out from every single corner of Town.
Yups, I'm terrified to go town now.
But, still to Town we must go once a while, to catch the Christmas lightings, the festive mood and the cheer from it all.
And that's what Hubby and I did after my course at British Council ended. I actually just want to get my redemption item and also a blemish treatment from Clarins. I ended up with a Clay Mask too. Zipped over to Fancl to get washing oil too and I also got a very nice pastel calendar, which came free with any purchase.
Then I decided to hit Tangs, as I wanted to try on Benefits. Took the train and within minutes, Tangs. Tangs was kind of empty and that kind of surprised me. Seriously. Benefits did not have much people, so I tried what I wanted, got the brochure too. And I decided, NOT to buy locally, the prices are horrible!! SOOOO expensive. I shall wait for some sprees of some kind to be opened before I buy.
Warcoal was empty too and I had the SA all to myself. Tried, tried and tried. Got what I wanted but I remembered the wrong date for the 12% rebate. The SA told me I can make reservations, come back today or Friday to get it and get the 12% rebate. That is what I'm gonna do later! Hit Tangs again.
Just as hubby and I were leaving Tangs, Irene called out to me. Woo.. It's been a long long long time since I last saw her and we are in the same organization. =/ Best of all, I asked her for the URS card and she had it! Ha!!! Now I can go to URS and get my much waited and needed heels! As they refuse to accept just NRIC without the card. Was thinking of Irene when I was at City Hall and she appeared like magic in Tangs. hahahaha..
Best of all, in URS, I got the 2 pairs I wanted and more. They were having a 50% off for selected model and I got 1 pair at just $20! So all in, 3 pairs in about $70. That works out to be about less than $25 per pair! hee.....
There was the usual Christmas things at Basement and we went to take a look at Christmas trees after we got our bread. I SIMPLY love looking at trees. SOOO pretty. =) And just as we were about to leave, I saw something tat I've been searching for some time.... and this time, I got it!
Surprisingly hor, Hubby did not say a single word of "don't buy" lei. He merely let me swipe to my hearts contents!
I'm too lazy to take photos and post it now, as I'm gng to Ikea in a while and I guess by then I'll have more loot. Will post everything together to save myself time and in a lousy attempt to cover up for my laziness!

I'm so addicted...
Oh dear. Oh dear....
I can't type as fast nor as smooth as I used to anymore. My fingers are hurting and I find bending them difficult and painful too! And the reason is none other than because I'm holding the DS Lite for hours at a time playing Mario Brothers! =(
It's really no joke ok! I can feel my knuckles (both hands) numb and my thumbs, where the fingernails end to the side are perpetually in pain! Cause I'm holding the DS for hours and then my thumbs are forever pressing on the buttons to make my Mario run, slide, jump and shoot...
The good news is, I'm at the ending stage of World 6 already! Just 2 more "worlds" and then the whole game is complete! But of course, I'm pretty sure, I will go and replay the 2 other worlds that I've missed out. And then replay the whole game over again.
It's really very very addictive lei!
I go to sleep thinking of how to clear the "worlds" and wake up with "clear the worlds" I think this addiction is here to stay until I cleared the last world already. Which, I think I should be able to clear by this week! hahahahaha
I still have a brand new game which I have not even inserted into the DS, so engrossed with Mario am I.... Also, any kind souls know where to get *ahem* games for DS? Please please send me links lei.
I badly need new games already la. I have my r4 and SD card all ready. Just need you know, erm.... for lack of a better word..."contacts".
I think I'm interested in "Mario Kart", "Cooking Mama" for the moment. Or another other cutesy looking graphics and games ok?
BTW, when I'm not playing with my DS, hubby is taking over and he's engrossed in those mini games that comes with Mario Bro and he's now trying his best to beat his own score of where Mario tumbles into a hand drawn trampoline and then bounces into the opened trapped door. =/ Using MY DS to play lei. *hurmp* And he was still, "don't buy la. Waste $$$".
Anyway, tml I won't have the time to play much with it cause, I'm going for a course at British Council (which I totally forgot, till my Mgr called to ask me). Good thing is, the building is near to Hubby's work place so will go to 'work' with him tomorrow morning. I'll be bringing my DS with me, but I doubt, I'll have much time to play lor. =/
I think also good la hor, give my poor fingers and hands a rest and then also delay sometime in completing the game. I only got the game on Sunday lei. Today is only Tuesday and I've completed more than half of the game already. It's time I slowed down a little too. =P

I'm super happy!
What made me so happy?
Well, for a start, there was good food, good company, much joy and laughter, jokes and a very enjoyable afternoon with my friends as we all trooped to Emma's house for her house blessing.
I like her newly renovated house. Simplicity at it's best and the colors are soothing and calm. Nothing better than coming home to a comfortable and welcoming home after a hard day's work, I say.
About a handful of us went, since she kept insisting that her house is too small to hold too many people. And in a way, I think she's right. Not that her house is small, but more like, the crowd is just right and all are comfortable with each other. So that made the house blessing really nice.
The next thing that got me happy?
I got my bags from the spree. Very fast, I say and best of all, the bags are nice lor! For that kind of price I'm paying, I'm willing to forgo the quality. But nice! It's so big and roomy and soft! Just my kinda bag! Suddenly, I have like 2 brand new bags waiting to be used. 1 barely used bag.. woah.. like a lot of bags. But I like that kind of feeling! Where it's like you have so many things, you are spoilt for choice and can't make a decision rather than because, you have to make a choice because there's none to choose!
And finally the last and most happy of all... I got my DS Lite already! No need to wait till tomorrow!
I cannot resist the temptation anymore and even though it was raining cats and dogs in the afternoon, I dragged hubby to AMK Hub and made the purchase for it. Cause, I've compared the price in Junction 8. Price same, but don't have the color I want and limited games + they don't have the r4. =/ Far East is cheaper, but to travel there and back just to get it and got to wait till tomorrow, not worth too!
So I got my brand new DS Lite in Pink. I wanted the metallic rose and it was out of stock. The new batch coming in next week! NEXT WEEK. No la. I settled for Pink.
I got it in a bundle and that includes, the DS Console, White Crystal Casing, Screen Protector, r4 and a 1GB memory card. And how can I get console without games right? Especially Mario Brothers right?
So I got Mario as well together with another game, which I read have rather good reviews, Animal Crossings.
The total damage to my pockets was $443. =( That's the only thing that is not so agreeable with my pocket. Other than that, I'm very pleased with what I've got!
The NDS is really an addiction, I say. The moment I got it, I asked the SA to insert in the game card for me and I immediately started playing with it while at my parents in laws place for dinner. I can't put it down at all! Totally addicted to it! The NDS comes with enough battery to last for maybe 2 hours? I think I played at least so long before the battery died!
I've just cleared the first 'world' or Mario brothers and kena stuck already! Kept dying wan lei. SO sad. And I'm loving the Mario Bro! The graphics are oh so cute! Mario can grow up to GIANT size and storm through everything and anything! Even the horrible tortoises and triangle don't know what brown thing looks cute lei! And those fireballs that Mario throws even leave a trail behind!
I can't wait for tomorrow to come, so I can start playing with my Mario again! The lucky thing is, I still have 1 more week of MC, so I have lots of time during this period to play with Mario Bro on NDS and read my books which I got from Carrefour, also.... the house needs to be cleaned. Laundry needs to be washed too. =( But other than that, I think I won't be online much with a brand new toy to entertain me and of course 2 totally new games to break into too!
I think my MC is not gonna be enough. Thank God for long long leave coming in Dec! Woo hoo!!!

The PERFECT picture!
I've found the perfect picture to show just how happy I am that I've finished my papers.
Mario says: "Hip Hip Hooray!!! It's the Holidays!!!"
Holidays.... Such a glorious word. *contented*
Ya, results not out yet, but that's another worry left for another day. Done and handed in, what else can I do except sit tight and pray hard?
p.s.. I think I'm turning Mario crazy... and I'm so excited, I can't get to sleep!!! But I think that's because I had Cafe Mocha at 9.30pm too...

It's OVER
I've long been waited for this day!
The dreaded exams are finally, FINALLY over! =D Just had my last paper and it was rather different from the specimen paper we had.
I think I won't fail, but I don't think I will do very well for this module too. That makes both my core modules for this semester "don't do well". =(
My law paper was hopeless, 2 hours to answer 5 essays and I hardly had time to complete. Much of it was in bits and pieces, I did not even write complete answers.
Quantitative Methods (QM) should be better, at least it's 2 hours for 4 questions, I can more or less answer but I now know there are some mistakes already.
Anyway, what's done is done, I cannot do anything anymore now. But rather, pray very hard, to at least still receive decent grades for this semester. Other than that, it's time to enjoy my long awaited holidays! With Christmas coming, parties, celebrations, gatherings, presents, not forgetting my DS Lite... How NOT to enjoy my holiday? hee
Holidays... Here I come!!!
Woo hoo!

Which Color?
I'm planning to buy the DS lite... and I've been doing some research on it...
I now know that I must get the R4, the memory card, screen protector, casing and of course the console.
Now the next question is out of the soo many colors available, which color should I get?
DS in Pearly White?
Or in Pinky Pink?
This pink is it too pinky for me? I rather like the rose pink, which is the later colors but I read that it's more expensive. =(
So, I should just stick to the white? But white like easily dirty... but then again, I'm going to buy the casing too. So, that's not an issue right?
Even the casing comes in so many colors and textures!! Argh.....
And I die die must buy the Mario Bro together with the set!!!

Sprees
Wow....
These last 2 sprees that I participated in, items reached me very very fast lei! I only ordered it about a week ago, the most 2 weeks and today, both items were here today! I ordered the items on separate occasions but so happened that both reached me the same day too.
First Purchase: Demin Leggings

Nice hor? I've never tried leggings with the leg hole and the price is reasonable so decided to try. After all, leggings are the vogue now and it's soooo comfortable!
It's from Korean supposedly, so quality wise I should not have any worries. I've taken a look at it and indeed the material is very soft and feels comfortable too! Good! I'm happy already.
I also got my DD masks via post. This spree organizer I must say is the most pro so far, she actually has a checklist enclosed with the package stating what are the items in the spree, those that I ordered, and the postage price too! So, at once glance, I can tell what I ordered!
Wow! I'm impressed at how organised she is!
This time, I only ordered the Collagen and Citronnella masks as mine were already running low. So, it's time to replenish my stock. I really like getting items from sprees.
First, there's LOTS of costs savings.
Second, it's quite exciting and fun waiting for the items to arrive via mail... I'll be looking out for the items.
Third, I can quickly hide the items before hubby discover I've made some damage to the pockets! hahahahahahahaha
My bags from the PG Mall have also arrived. Since bags are heavy, I've managed to ask hubby to collect them for me from the organizer tomorrow after work too! Hooray! =)
Now, are there anymore sprees waiting for me to discover?!
Edited to add: The lady fell sick, so have to wait till next week to get my bags from her. =( A little disappointed now though.

On the road of recovery
I think slowly but surely, I'm making a slow recovery after the loss of Lama Bean.
My body is still recovering from the minor op. Still can feel the cramps and bleeding is still here, on and off. Then again, there's nothing I can do but to not stress my body, eat more healthy food and let my body recover by itself.
Mentally and emotionally wise, I dare say, I'm feeling better. After the homily by Father Yim on Folded Page, I decided to leave it as that. It's something I do not understand and there's no point in dwelling and holding on to it.
That same night, after I wrote the very depressing entry previously, I decided to snap out of it. I deleted all the emails that was exchanged about Lama. Everything was trashed. Immediately, I felt better.
Maybe I should have done it earlier, but I was not ready till that moment, now I am. I deleted everything. Doesn't mean that I'm deleting Lama from my mind and heart, Lama will live there always, but I'm ready to put this painful experience behind me now.
Ever since I did that, I've been able to go to bed more peacefully at night. It took me a few days to come to this conclusion to make this change. But, I'm glad I did. I know I cannot be living in grief and sadness all the time.
A small action like that, a powerful and heartfelt homily, given tears to shed and time to grieve, I'm finally feeling better.
When the memory becomes a dull thud, that's a sure sign of recovery, healing and moving on.
November is when we celebrate "All Saints Day" and "All Souls Day". From this year onwards, both days will become days of obligations for me...Though the Catholic church only practices obligation for All Saints Day.
Much thanks to all those who have worried about me, prayed for us and Lama.

Lama Bean
I've been in tears almost daily since Tuesday. Ever since talking to Doc Lee, the sense of helplessness and worries are killing me.
And the worse of my fears are confirm on Thursday... Lama won't make it and the worse is I have to go for a D&C to remove everything else that's inside. I feel horrible, as though I'm killing Lama. But I know that Lama is not able to make it, it's a matter of waiting for it to happen or I just do a clean up and then hopefully, life gets back to the norm, the norm of us struggling for our studies and exams.
It's been 2 days since the D&C, I'm still in tears. The tears just flow when I least expect them to, it stings and burns my eyes and then it flows down.
Yes, I'm told it's not my fault, that there's nothing anyone can do, not the Doc and certainly not me. I've read the same as I'm told. Yet, it does nothing to ease the pain and the feeling of emptiness that engulfs me mostly when I'm alone.
I still can't talk about it. The memory alone brings me back to being a sobbing child. Hubby has been a great pillar of support, so are my friends, Godma, family, Doc and even another GP whom we hardly know. But, the feeling is still there. Not that we particularly plan for this child, but since it was here, we decided to do the best we could for the BB. But all these efforts were in vain.
Have spoken to a priest and he assured us that Lama is back with God. For that, we are thankful. He said the same things as I was told and had read about. Yet, in what way would that have helped me, I do not know. He prayed over us for our healing and well being and that we'll be blessed again and again. This is just something that we are not able to comprehend and to leave it to God and His perfect plans.
I try my best to function as best as I can. I know hubby is worried about me. I try to hold my tears move on with life. Yet, at times, it is really so tough...
The only things left of Lama are the pills, folic acid, calcium, fish oil, hormone pills, milk powder, brochures, magazines, ultrasound scans, bills, blood test reports, the exchange of smses, excitement that Hubby and I had, and memories that Lama was once growing in my womb.
It's hard. I will not say otherwise. But, life has to go on, I have to move ahead and move on. I cannot let myself be stuck at this grieving period for too long least I suffer from depression. I guess, at this point in time, the only thing I can do is to pray and believe in Lord God and trust that all things will and is for the better.
I do not understand, but there's no point in me seeking understanding at this point in time. I believe I will, in time to come... but the time is not now.
But give me God's patience and with His grace and time, I believe, the pain will diminish, the memories still live and Lama will always live with God...

Eat and Shop
After such a long time, I finally met up with Godma and Bro for a nice long leisure lunch and chit chat.
We had our lunch at Hey Hey Hot Pot. We had the lunch set and the vegetable soup was good. Bit as it was set, the items of the food they gave us were a little limited. I personally did not like the dim sum items... the skin was too thick and then the fillings tastes weird. But it was a good place to yak and chat. As we were the only customers in the afternoon! It was till much later then another table was filled up. We spent a good 2.5 hours there just eating and chatting and catching up with each other.
Then, we took a slow walk to this pastry shop and got some famous pastry. I got a box too, Moon Pies or some thing like that. Tastes good! The filling is thick and the pasty light and flaky! I like!
And after all the eating, we still managed to fill ourselves with yet more food! This time, it was tea at Ajitei, Bugis. I had green tea ice cream with japan red beans with mochi.
Wah! Shiok!!! The red beans is different from the kind that we have. It's very very mushy and sweet!
After a good hour there, Bro went back to office, Godma and me continue to walk around. We took the MRT to Orchard and she went to pick up a top at Zara. I did not buy anything since I've been overspending at F21 sprees recently. =( The clothes at Zara don't catch my attention too, not that I tried very hard to find something anyway.
Then, out of the blue, I wanted to get a tote that is suitable for me to go to work in... so walked around. I found one. I LOVE it!!! But, it's a freaking $500!!!!! $400 after discount! So no way, am I going to spend that kind of money on a bag. So nothing. Godma then told me, she saw something similar in Tangs the other day and we went to Tangs then.
The moment I saw it, I quite like it already. It's similar to the $500 bag. But at a fraction of the price! =)
Big, roomy, soft, good quality and nice! Best of all, after using my Citibank points, I only paid $37+ only!
Seem to be getting lots of bags lately hor. Must control my spending. But I must add hor, in all my meet ups with Godma and Bro, today has got to be the cheapest already. Lunch, tea and bag is maybe only $60? hahahahaha
Was supposed to go to Risen Christ for a talk. But feeling rather tired and lazy. So decided to come home on the excuse to study for exams. But I've been sitting for the last 2 hours, either in front of the google box or labby, watching TV programs or blogging!!! Argh!!!!
Like that how to survive my exam?!!!!!!!!!! =(
Must really really study!!! But when I think of the boring Law Modules half of which I don't understand, I'm sooo reluctant to pick up the notes, study guide or textbook la!

Bag(s) Spree
Earlier today, Lynn was showing me this link from a forum and then she told me the bags are pretty and best of all, CHEAP!
So, how could I miss out the chance to get something right?! So, eagerly, I went to check out the webby, and there are a few pieces that are quite pretty I must agree. But, don't know why, something stopped me from ordering from the organizer.
I then went to check with another friend of mine, whom I know have just organized a similar bag spree not too long ago. I know it's too late to tag on my orders but was merely asking her when will she organized another spree and you know what she said?!
"Oh! I just ordered. Too many orders, so supplier splitting into 2 shipments. If you don't mind waiting hor, then you let me know quickly, I tag on to my existing order lor. My shipment is due to be sent on 17 Nov."
OF Course I don't mind waiting. And within a matter of minutes, I let Lynn know too and what happened was, she too decided to ditch that spree and join me instead.
My gut feel is, no matter how good the other organizer is, it is better to have my own friend doing the spree. Furthermore, the spree that my friend is organizing, carries the same / similar bags, more varieties, prettier and most importantly of all, CHEAPER!
YES!! Cheaper! The first spree was already very cheap. Making it maybe just slightly over SGD $20. But this one, my friend has discount (15%!!) so the bags costs less than $20 including shipping to Singapore!
Happy not!? hahahahahaha... So, end up, I bought these 2 bags.
I don't know to get this in the dark brown or white at first. But my sis said, since this bag so big, which she think I won't use that often, get white. Since the white is prettier!
Would have bought more, if not for the fact that I've asked Aw to help me get a bag from Japan, which hor, he DIN get it for me, coz it was out of stock! Argh!!
Anyway, I think also good la, just get 2 pieces to try out the material. If the material is not that bad, next time then get some more lor. I very sure my friend will be organizing the spree soon. Especially, CNY is round the corner. hahahahaha....
The supplier is based in Taiwan, so not sure how long it will take to reach here. Maybe in end Dec got new stock and if the bags are not too bad, I may get a few more for CNY too. Anyway, the price is soooo cheap, buy, use, spoil then throw away and buy new ones lor. Won't feel too heart pain kind.
Good things must share, so for those interested, the supplier link can be found here; PG 美人網.

Joy and Blessings
Ever since that shocking news that I got about 1 week back, I've not posted anything for sometime. Needed the time to think through and also to come to terms with it. In fact, beginning to relish and bask in the new found attention that all the kind people around me are showering on me!
I guess, if by now, still don't know, I'll release and confirm the news...
I guess, I've never cried so much and hard in the 2 days that I found out I was pregnant. The disbelief, the shock and all the concerns that comes with a baby came rushing to me and crashing to me; causing me to be in a roller coaster ride. I even questioned God, why now? Even hoped for a miscarriage, which was sooooooooo evil of me! (And I guess, that's why the sac was not stable and made me spot coz the BB detected that the mommy don't want and was thus unstable? I don't know.)
For no reason or nothing I would start crying. Worrying myself sick on the financial, the medical, the care giver, the time the responsibilities that comes with a newborn.
But a week has pass, I'm emotionally more stable now. It's a blessing that the Lord has bless us with and we'll do our best. I still think that it's not the best time for a baby at this moment in time, given that hubby and me are studying part time. But then again, who on earth can tell God that He is wrong to be giving us a baby now?
His time is definitely not our time. But since He wants to bless us with a baby and that this is the right time according to him. So be it then.
Anyway, I'm given a 7 days hospitalization leave since Tuesday. Cause the sac does not seem to be too stable. Given jab, medication, scans, blood test and leave, which costs me almost $400!!
Resting at home, surf net, do some revisions for exams and the week just seem to pass. HL ends on Monday. Will be heading back to office on Tuesday. I think the amount of work will be scary.. but don't want to think about that for the time being.
Will also be going back to see Gynae on Wed morning, I'm praying that by next week, will be able to hear / see the BB's heartbeat or at least some assurance that it's developing well. I read somewhere that when the heartbeat is detected, the risks of having a miscarriage goes right down! I'm praying for that.
And my nice boss has been so sweet and nice. He merely told me, rest well and take care. Don't worry about the work, he will ask someone to cover and on Thursday, he even sms me again asking how I was.
I'm really so impressed and respectful of him. Where to get such a nice boss?!
Anyway, my condition has also more or less stabilized I hope. Spotting has reduce significantly after all the med, there still is some, but not as much as previously anymore. Only when I'm on my feet for too long a time, will start to feel cramp and the spoting comes back.
Other than that, I'm eating like a cow. Wake up to a normal breakfast, within 2 hours, I need tea. Another 2 hours, lunch then tea and then dinner. Sometimes supper too! Gosh!!! Hubby and the rest says hungry must eat. Ya la, easy for them to say lei... since I'm the one growing fat. But I don't eat snacks. Mostly just bread or biscuits to ward off the hunger pangs. No special cravings also. Just want to eat vege and vege and more vege. No idea why, the greener the vege, the more I eat. Maybe this BB is gonna be a monk / nun? So eating lots of vege now. hahahahaha...
I'm told that during this first Tri, it's the mother who gets all the fats. I DON'T WANT!!!! So will try to limit myself as to what I put into my mouth. Morning sickness have not started yet. Was told that some woman don't get it.
But I'm hoping to get it. Coz MS is also a sign that the BB is developing well. I know I sound mad to say I want. But I was given medication during the very early stages of my pregnancy, maybe like conception time, which some of the medication could be harmful to the BB.... So I really rather have MS to assure myself that all is well.
Hubby says, eat now since I can eat. Wait till MS start, I want also cannot eat!
No idea if I should be getting Pretty Pinks and Purples or Boyish Blues and Greens for the moment. Just wait and see. And it is at this point in time that I truly appreciate what Wise and Lyn have been saying all along. "Anything also can, as long as healthy!"

*in shock*
I received a piece of shocking news this morning. A piece of news so shocking and unexpected and totally not what I've been wanting. It shattered my cozy world and till now, I am still in shock and have not taken this piece of news well.
Still wishing and hoping that it is not real.
The confirmation will come tomorrow. If it's confirm, EVERYTHING will change, my work, my studies, my life. There will be a formal annoucement and everything will then come into place.
Hopefully then, all the details and pieces of jigsaw will fall into places and explains why certain things happened.
But I'd rather things remain status quo...

Brave move
On Tuesday night, Hubby got a sms from OBIL. On FIL's instruction, asking why we so long never go back home.
Hubby smsed something back and then that's it. So I urged him to call the PIL assuring them that we are ok, just that we are both so busy with school that we really have no time to go back even for dinner.
Our current weekly routine stands as this...
Monday - my lessons at SIM, Hubby at home
Tuesday - Hubby to revise for exam, I do my revision / TMA (only night when both Hubby and I are at home together after work!)
Wednesday - Hubby exam, I settle the laundry
Thursday - my lessons at SIM, Hubby lessons at SMA
Friday - I go for body sculpt, hubby do revision
Saturday - Hubby full day lessons, me settle household chores then mass and dinner
Sunday - Hubby full day lessons again and I do revision / TMA then dinner at my parents only cause it's walking distance from our nest
See? Not say we don't want to go, but there's hardly a night where we are together already, how to have time to for dinner at PIL's place?
We used to go on Tuesday coz that's day off for MIL. But with hubby's exam on every Wednesday, the time spent travelling is really spent on revision instead.
On Wednesday, while I was having dinner, a sudden thought creep into my head. It says "give a call to PIL to tell them why we've not been going back" I was not willing to do that! But the thought remains, like something that grew root there and I can shake it off.
Gingerly, I picked up the phone... and proceed to put it down, with the thought, it's PIL, hubby's parents, it's better that he speak to them. Yet the thought just won't go off. Picked up the phone again and this time, I dialled.
One ring. Two rings. Three rings and my heart lightened. Maybe there's no one at home I thought happily. But it got through and MIL answered. My heart quickened and sank at the sametime. No choice, cannot hang up.
Heck la. Just do it. Talked to her, explained to her. Told her that FIL asked OBIL to sms hubby. I also told hubby to call them. But hubby din want to. So I call and tell them all is well. Just that we are both so overwhelmed with school and work, really don't have the time. Even gave her a day by day report that we are busy.
Chatted for a good 30 mins. LONGEST I've ever held a conversation with MIL and then hang up. Talked about nitty gritty things. Exams, studies, chores, prices and even the AMK Market that got burnt down.
Finally hang up and I think it was a pretty good conversation. I hope she don't think that I'm being inteferring. Just that I feel since Hubby so lazy and don't bother to call and they are worried, I might as well tell them. Rather than they "searching high and low" for us and give them the impression that we don't want to go back. Might as well let them know how busy we are.
I'm still not sure if this is the right move I've made. Would I be sending them the signals that they are loosing their son? Would I give them them the impression that I'm calling the shots (though most of the time, I am la, but they don't need to know ma). Anway, I think it was a reckless and kind of silly move I made. By making that call.
Still not sure what made me do it. But that thought just plonked itself in my head and cannot be shaken off!
Anyway, what's done is done. If they don't like it also no choice. I called already. But my real motive was really to assure them that we are ok. Just very busy with school work. Not that we are ignoring them lor. I cannot help it if they want to think otherwise right?

too small then too big!
Remember I bought lots of things recently during the sprees that was opened?
Finally all my items had arrived. And it also has been quite sometime since I last bought anything from any spree. F21 is not counted as spree since, 1) it's opened by Irene. 2) I don't incur local postage 3) She's a PERSONAL friend and the spree is just for ppl she know.
Anyway, that's not the point, the point is, I purchased this brown top with big bold ribbon in front and it finally arrived after soooo long. Close to 2 months maybe?
But I CANNOT wear!!! =( Why? Coz the waist is tooooo huge! I looked like I'm hiding 2 chickens inside! hai...
First the clothes from Causeway were too small, so I went to get from another spree that has plus sizes and then now too big!
hai.... I guess, I have to give up buying cheap clothes from Taiwan or Korea sites from now onwards. This leaves me no choice but to stick to more 'high class' sites. I think F21 will be a good site to start on, ya?

ARGH! Nothing seems to be going right.
Woke up pretty early this morning, coz my brain was full of the "Key similarities and differences between conventional partnership, LLP and Pte Ltd incorported company limited by shares" portion and I just can't get back to sleep anymore. Considering that I went to bed at 2+am last night, getting up at 9.30am IS major early!
But even though my brain is filled with this question (which is just the 1st question, I have another 2 more to go), the moment I sat in front of my tablet, my brain and fingers began to wander.
So far, I've sent and replied emails, searched for some items I was interested in from Spree, browse thru F21 T-W-I-C-E but yet to start work on my TMA!!!! Argh!!!
I only have 1 conclusion, no! Maybe 3 conclusions.
First, it's a big mistake to browse thru F21 this early in the morning. Now my brain is filled with the 2 jackets and I can't concentrate anymore!
The Napali Trenchcoat
The Wool Blend Coat
So, I've set my eyes on this 2 besides the 3 last night. Well done!
2nd conclusion, it's a total waste of time waking up so early with TMA as the first thought. Since, I won't be able to get started on it till my internal engine has woken up. Which for the last hour, still has not fully woken up. No matter how much I stare at the damn paper, I just cannot concentrate and cannot begin to work on it!!!
And the last conclusion, if I have to wake up early, I must make sure hubby does the same! Why? Because, since I cannot get started on work, I might as well get started on household chores! But I cannot now coz he is still sleeping!!! The moment I start to vaccumm, he'll wake up and then it's my fault for waking him.
Argh! Feeling achy from the workout last night, hungry since last night (which I went to bed after half a pack of Twisties shared with hubby), rushed for time and stressed since the TMA is due on Tuesday evening for discussion with my friends, frustrated with work and school. Pek Chek coz today is Hari Raya and ppl are enjoying the holiday while I'm stuck at home doing assignments and neighbors are making a ruckus since this morning!
Argh....
Argh!!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reviews
I know I promised to do some product reviews but till now, I've still not done it. So, finally, I'm going to do it now.
For the last 2 to maybe 3 weeks, I've been using a new eyeliner and mascara. Kate Superfine eyeliner
and the Majolica mascara. The first time I used the Kate Superfine eyeliner, I felt abit apprehensive. After all, the brush tip does looks intidimating, worse of all it's liquid! What if it smudges and all? Then I end up looking like Ms Panda eyes! However, finally I pluck up enough courage to try it out...But after the first stroke... woo hoo. I like! The first stroke is the hardest, they say and they are right! Since there is no prior line to follow, I can only agar agar and draw. But it really helps as the tip of the brush is so fine and soft! Yet the color is not as dark as I imagined it to be. So it's not that bad. So normally, after the first stroke, I'll add a second, sometimes even a third! It's so easy to handle the pen and best of all, the color does not smudge, only thing is, I must remember to hold the lid for just a few more seconds as compare to using the pencil kind.
Next, I tried the MM Mascara.
Some reviews that the mascara can lengthen the lashes up to 15 times! Really! But it did not have that kind of effect on me. Yes, it does lengthens nicely. But not to 15 times, such exaggeration!
What I really like about the mascara, is that instead of the usual brush, this comes in a comb. So it's much much easier to jiggle those lashes! And to reach the corner ones too!
Since, I've been a bush mascara person all along, initially I did find it hard to adapt to this new one. And many a times, I brush the mascara into the underside of my lid and that kind of irritates my eyes the whole day. But putting on mascara takes practice and after just 2,3 days, I manage to get the hang of it and now I can put it on effortlessly! =)
What I really really like about this mascara is that just 1 coat, and my lashes becomes soooo much longer! Really, when I first started, I used 2 coats and my lashes felt too heavy and the mascara seems too thick too! So I used 1 coat and VOILA! The end result is fabulous! I love it!!!
I don't think I'm going to change my eye liner and mascara anytime soon since I really like the ease of use. BETTER yet, the price is sooooo reasonable! It's less than $18 per piece and it produces wonderful results!
Now, this IS really cheap and good!
However, despite it being so good and definitely smudge proof, there's a problem. My usual Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil is not effectively able to remove all the eyeliner and mascara. Now, that is a big problem! I realised that my lids were beginning to get darker by the day... and my beautician actually commented how come my lids kept getting darker... suddenly it clicked and I guess it's because the mascara and eyeliner is staining my skin as I must not have washed everything off proberly. SO I must have a more effective eye make up remover. But I don't like the loreal nor maybeline ones since those have a rather high alcohol content.
Went to Tomatoe in AMK and the SA there recommended me this.
Make up removed from Korea.
There's actually a layer of oil and water, so got to shake it up well before using, the SA assured me that even though there's oil in it, it will not give me those oil seeds around the corner of my eyes.
Since I cannot find anything else, I decided to give it a try. I was of course not willing to take it up as this little bottle costs $28!!! That's expensive to me!
But for the sake of my skin, I guess I have to do it. Hence, I did and no regrets since. Of course after using this, I still use my Fancl for the rest of my face and any excess, I'll also run it over my eye lids, to be doubly sure that all traces are removed!
So far, I noticed the area at my eye lids are beginning to lighten up, no longer as dark as previous. I guess, this remover works and of course my creams are working too lor.
Anyway, my products better work mann!! I'm spending a bomb on them!!!

Shopping Queen @ Work
Have been soooo damn busy with work and school that I seriously have NO time to do any shopping offline or online. I am so not joking when I said that and the only piece of shopping which I did for the entire 2 months was the watch that I got for hubby. Even then, I only got it coz it was kind of on the way for me when I went for my facial!
SO, I thought that I'm over the shopping phrase or so I thought. But the magnetism of shopping is just too strong to resist.
When Irene told me she's organising another F21 spree and asked if I'm interested, I found myself browing thru the webby in ernest. -_-" There goes the saving part but in return, I gained for myself yet another tunic, this time, it's a simple looking one which is suitable for more serious occassion. A little Black Dress but in Purple! Which reminds me of that dress in Robinsons that I've been aiming for for a long time but din manage to buy.
which was a steal at $10.50 USD!
Lastly, I got for myself a wool cadet hat too!
Cute hor?! I bought the black one though, in preparation for my Israel trip end of this year. Pity F21 had no gloves... else I'm pretty sure, I'll be making a purchase too!
There was also this pair of shoes that I like very much!
But shoes is something which is hard to gauge hence I din buy. But looks very nice hor?
Then today, I was still browsing thru the webby and I found MORE things I like! Like this sweet looking dress!
and this chiffon tunic!
Then coz of the upcoming trip to Israel, I've also been eying on some winter clothings and these are what caught my eyes.
Faux Fur Cardigan
Wool Coat
Colorado Knit Jacket
And my favorite...
Corduroy Hat!!!
Which I did not buy. Coz Godma says this is meant for snowing temperature. And Israel will not be snowing then. Hence I bought the Cadet Hat instead.
All looks so cute right?! I think I'm going mad already la! Actually, 2 or 3 weeks back, both Hubby and I have already bought a thick jacket each! And I even bought another trench coat kind of dress... But, since this is our first time going to cold countries, kind of excited and just feel like getting so much more clothings lor. I know it's a waste to get too many pieces of such clothes since it does not even have winter in sunny Singapore. But it's all these nice and new clothes that's making me go gaga. =(
I guess the next best thing to do is either hope and pray that I strike Toto / 4D or Irene decides to hold another spree. Else, someone hold a spree but don't let me know!

No entries for sometime
Since don't know when, I suddenly sort of stopped blogging. =/
Maybe coz it's the amount of work pilling from both office and school? Maybe it's coz I lost the interst? Maybe it's coz my life is soooo boring till there's nothing left to blog?
Maybe, coz I got so sick of my TMA which I worked so hard for and in the end got a miserable 51? Maybe it's coz my msn got virus?
I don't know la. Just feel so sian of all these things happening. =(
Anway, school has started in ernest. This is already my second week back to school having night lessons and within this short span of 2 weeks, I have 2 quizes coming up this weekend already. Very fast.
Time is soo short and the list of things to do, to study seems endless!
Maybe it's coz I have had too long a break and then now, I can't seem to get my engine to start and move.
I guess, with abit more time, I'll be better =)
