Hot hot weather...

and the next best place to go will be...It's a good place to chill out... LITERALLY! Some more, all decked out in my favorite color, PINK!
It's not a cartoon for kids... lots of artistes go there and over the week ends, it's absolutely crowded with teens to chill out!

They served HOME MADE ice cream! I tried their milo dino and it's heavenly! Not too sweet and yet the milo tastes is strong. I like!

Well, if ice cream is not your thing, then they serve coffee too. Even their sugar is packed in pretty pink sachets! I love this place already, if not for the food, then for the decor and packaging!

I guess, the boss should be a lady, who simply loves pink too! The little shop is just so cute and pretty. But when I say little, I really mean little. Though there's like cozy corners in the shop, but seating is very limited. It's good to do take-aways, I guess.

Everything is in shades of Pink! The decor, tables, chairs, armchairs, the logo, the sugar and yes!!! Loyalty card!How NOT to like this place, you tell me?! Such good ice cream, coffee, desserts and nice, pretty, cozy decor!!!So, the next time, if you are in the area, do check out Icekimo for cravings of the sweet tooth and to just chill out.

A great day!

Was on leave yesterday and after confirming the plans for the day ahead, I carried on with the household chores before getting myself ready to go out.

After all the tedious amount of work done, I need a good lunch to replenish my lost energy! Jeff and I decided to go for a healthy lunch without Emma who is busy working. It was a good and healthy lunch, albeit slightly pricey, but it was free for me, courtesy of Jeff =) So in return, we went to Ben's & Jerry's for Ice Cream (me) and Black coffee for him on me. So more or less fair. But I stand to gain since my lunch was more pricey?

Between the 2 of us, we finished our big bowl of soup, shared a salad and polish off slices and slices of homemade wheat, white, dark bread! It's sooo good!!! I love the herb butter too! Very shiok!

After the lunch, we walked around a little and went on our separate ways, since I need to go back home to ready myself for my weekly kickbox. And he went on his way to collect his free pair of movie tickets. =)

It's a mad rush for me after my kickbox as hubby and I are both due for a BBQ with my uni friends.

Immediately the moment my kickbox end, I dashed into the ladies to freshen up and hubby was already waiting for me at level 1 of the Bishan CC and we zoomed off in a cab to the BBQ. Needless to say, we were one of the latest to reach.

Actually, it's quite good to reach late. Since by then, all of them had already eaten thus they will be happy to push cooked and cooking food to us. Best is, just plonk myself down and there's food available. Also, will be sure that the food is cooked since usually the first few batches of food are either overcooked or undercooked and the fire is not stable...

So all in all, BEST to reach late for BBQ's! Pictures to share.... My classmates and also the tutor at the BBQ last night. =)

Hubby and I reached late and we left at about 11, since he need to go to work this morning, so have to go off. Judging from the happy faces, I dare say, all of us had fun!

And the best part? I'm on leave TOMORROW too! Hippee!!! So, I'm gonna have a grand total of 4 days break! Hooray!!! =D Today is Free and Easy, tomorrow, a lunch date with Jeff (and possibly Emma, though I won't count on her presence, she's such a good employee that she's NOW in OFFICE!!!!! And today is National Day OK! -_-"'Going to end tomorrow with Kick Box and then after such a hard day, feast myself with BBQ food! =P

Saturday.... Hubby is working... no plans yet... Maybe, if tomorrow I feel hardworking enough and finished all the housework, can go shop shop in the afternoon ba...

Sunday... definitely is Church and then lunch with the bunch, and then dinner at my parents. Can rest and also to recharged for the Monday that is coming too. =) Quite happy with the plans so far. Just that at the moment, still thinking if we should go out today or just laze at home today lei.

Anyway, before the day ended yesterday, I sent in some more of my shopping orders! -_-" Dress for work, (can't get a picture of the purple dress till much later) but I choose the purple one instead. This is the same as what I wanted from Causeway previously, but no one wanted to get the same item (and they need to have a min 3 piece before shipping so in the end I din get!) this supplier, he needs a min of 2 designs each before he ships, so I also hope got ppl want the same piece as me!!!

Edited @ 15 Aug, 11am: Yesterday was the final confirmation for orders and I added in this dress before confirming the orders! It looks similiar to the first dress, but there are of course differences la. The collar, sleeves and also the number of buttons are different. For this piece, I choose the exact same colour as shown in the pic.

Now, if all my orders go thru, I'll have at least 3 pieces of dresses to go to work in! =)
and a sexy black dress! =)

How huh? And it's NO USE hinting, telling Hubby! He already made it clear, "NO" =/ Though I was sooo close to offering him get it for "Wedding" and "Christmas"... and to make it a sweeter deal, ready to throw in "Vday" AND "Bday" TOO lei!!! But then I thought about it abit more, erm... "Vday" and "Bday" is abit too much advance already!

Not to mention, a certain ethic group I don't quite like are buying COACH in droves!!!!

I've been doing lots of online shopping recently. And when I say lots, I really really mean LOTS!

So as to summarise the vast amount of shopping that I've been doing and also to keep track of my therapy, I've done a montash of sorts... Hopefully, the more I look at this, the more I will remind myself that I have clothes and shoes and masks and other knick knacks laying in the cupboard waiting, patiently laying waiting for me to finally put them to good use.

for my pretty face =)

Before my kick box on Friday and with $4 worth of vouchers from Sasa, I got my pretty face these... 2 more different kinds of mask and a pack of spatula.

The spatula is great for gel type of mask or any kind of mask that comes in a tub since it's unhygienic to use fingers and in the process, contaminate the tub and also dirty my fingers. Anyway, the pack of spatula (2 pieces) is only at $1.40. So no problem at all.

Using vouchers so can get some more items. And I got myself 2 more mask as the packaging and ingredients attract me! Aloe and Royal Jelly for my face! =)

Aloe is good for healing and ermm... I don't know.. Royal Jelly has always been linked to the general well being for us ladies. So, just as well la. =D

As usual, haven't use yet, will use it soon and if it's good, I will buy some more. I've been rather hard working when it came to my face recently, I do some sort of mask everyday!

Hardworking hor?! I hope I can continue to be so hardworking in time to come mann!

For da office

I'm getting sick of my plastic card holder breaking and snapping and buying and then repeat the whole process all over again... so finally decided to invest more to get a better one for office!

Got myself a cool black looking card holder, yesterday when Hubby and I went to Metro. I think it's a tad too big but the extra space will be good enough for me to slot in a few dollar notes for those emergencies. =) This was the only one I found and there was 20% off so decided to get it.

Don't play play ar... Gold Lion ok! =P

Wanted something not so manly actually, but there isn't anything else already, so get this. I was kind of debating and considering between the Pink, Blue or this... as our given landyard is Blue. The Pink seemed too outstanding, so after all the debates, finally decided on this.

Really hope this will last me for sometime a LONG time! I really so sian of buying the plastic card holder all the time.

On afternoon leave...

And I went to enjoy with my bestie. =)

First, we went for a good lunch at this Korean restaurant in Far East Plaza. I must say this restaurant is value for money! For a mere $12 or so, we got to enjoy the Claypot rice, coupled with the side dishes, soup and dessert! Wow! I was suitably impressed. I like the side dishes and the claypot rice is good too! Served in the traditional clay bowl! It's not obvious, but the portion of the rice is really huge! Both of us cannot finish it in the end. The side dishes consists of the Egg Omelets, Celery, BIG Bean Sprouts, Kim Chi, Potatoes and a green veg. I like the Bean Sprouts best of all, Very tasty! =) Good lunch at a good and affordable price! Worth going for a meal!

Obviously, after a good and satisfying lunch, must go and walk off those calories!

I'm in the quest for black shoes and heels as I only have 1 precious pair now and I cannot wait till that pair is gone before searching for new ones. So after the lunch, my quest began. Tri of course walked around with me and really! Shopping with gal is SOOOO different from shopping with Hubby!

Check my loot if you doubt my statement!Within that 2 hours, I walked away with 2 black pairs from Mondo at an affordable $39.80 and then another pair from Tinkertoes.

Actually, I do not meant to get the TT heels... But there were having a promotion, 1 pair for $21.90, 2 for $39.90 and 3 pairs for $53.90! And I only got it when we re-routed back the 2nd time. Tri saw some black heels that interests her and she began choosing, some how, she only manage to get 2 pairs. I happen to just parade around in the TT heels and to my surprise it was comfortable and fit well! So I got it to get the 3 pairs for $53.90, which works out to be about $17.95 each! Very cheap right?

How can miss it like that, so of course get lor. =)

End up, I bought these 3 pairs, which costs me about $58 in total, which works out be to LESS than $20 each!!!

Such a good buy! =)

Having my first lesson for the Effective Communications later. Getting very irritated with the course calendar that is in the Blackboard(BB) and also at the amount of reading that is supposed to be done by today!!!

The readings are not in sequence and worse, the readings stipulated in the BB are all over the place in the text, also the said readings some are not even found!

ARGH!!!

I realised, I have ALOT of free Clarins samples tuck neatly away in my stash of skincare and cosmetics drawer.

SO, in order to save on the usage of my usual routine of skincare, I decided to finally take a peep into THAT drawer and see what I can utilise... and I saw this.
Water Purify, One-Step Cleanser.

The name sounds strange... but it IS really one-step! Meaning, just take pieces (I normally use 2) of cotton pads, wet it and wipe the whole face and volia! The cleanseing and tonning bit is done!!! Yar, NO need to wash at all.

Woah! Now, that's lots of precious minutes saved in the early morning isn't it?!

My face don't feel tight nor dry after that... and I just slap on my numerous amount of creams after that, eye cream, blemisher, whitening, etc etc. And lastly followed by my usual make up and I can go out!

Really as simple as that!

This is really unique...but somehow, I just can't stop myself from splashing H2O on my face... so, now, I just reverse the order, slap on H2O, pat dry then use this unique product. Same effect.

Quite interesting hor, this little bottle of gem. Can choose to read more here. But, truth be told, I don't think I will spend extra dollars on this one-step thingy cause, I'm still more used to having H2O and also, I have lots of Fancl Cleansers left stash up in the same drawer. =/

Skin care, Eye Care, Lips Care... and I don't know what else needs "care"

I'm in need of care... LOADS of care actually....

and I purchased some facial masks after collecting my notes last night on the way home since I passed by Sasa and I like the mask after I've tried it.

There was 1 for 1 kind of offer, so I got myself 2 packs of each, comes in packing of 5 and 4. Hence, I have 18 pieces of precious facial masks lying in my cupboard at this moment.

Damage: $40.80 (after a $1 off discount voucher from Sasa)

I wanted eye masks too, but theirs was sooo expensive at a freaking $60 I decided to stick to Fancl for the time being, till I can find another even cheaper alternative.

Then today, my sis's friend finally had time to sit down with me (via MSN, of course) and she showed me the various links and amounts and I armed myself with packs and packs of eye masks. There's Lily & Jasmine, then Rose and also Lavender... 5 pairs in each pack, total 15 pairs. Each with it's own pros and for different usage... which I shall not bother to translate... Can go to the links to read if interested. But half the time, I is agar agar the meaning and words since all the chinese characters are in the olden way.. Not the new and simplified way that I was taught since primary school.

All these masks will come in handy since I foresee lots of late nights in the next few months.

Partly that I buy so many it's also because, 3 boxes of these eye masks and it's definitely cheaper than that freaking $60 (for 5 pairs) that I saw last night and it's just slightly more pricy than my fancl which is 6 pairs but at $35!

Then there's also the facial red wine mask which is a must try item according to her, so I got it as well...

There's a promotion for this item, 1st tub at original price and the 2nd at close to 30% off... So, naturally I got myself 2 tubs.

All these are not available locally, it's shipped from Taiwan and she swears by it, so I decided to go ahead and try. So, have to include in the currency exchange, agent fees and shipping fees too...

And the grand total damage after 3 packs of eye masks and 2 tubs of wine mask is at $72.49!

Considering that I'm buying so many various kinds of mask and the quantity that I have, it's not that expensive since it will last me a long time. But just that to pay off this amount one time... it's making my pocket and heart bleed. =(

I really hope that all these $$$ that is being spent will come to a good use and will really make my skin better... else...

And the latest craze in the market is this, Pink Magic. It's all natural and supposed to make your lippies (or any other area that is being applied to) glow a natural pink!

The same friend's company organized a spree for this and I'm paying $54 for it. CHEAP! It's being retailed at $76!!!!

Now, I'm just hoping that I will be more disciplined and will put all these 'cares' to good use, else I will end up throwing some of my masks and other 'cares' into the bin since I buy and buy and buy, keep, keep, keep and totally forgot about the existence of it!!!

Just on all these 'cares', I've spent close to a humongous $350 $400(!!!) or thereabouts already, not forgetting the Clarins in a matter of days.

The next payout will be for the F21 that I'm still waiting for my colleague to tell me the exact shipping amount. =/

Lessons starting soon

My first lesson is starting this Saturday... =( and yesterday, Bev and I went down to collect our course notes for this coming semester.

Super heavy lor those notes!!! This coming sem, I'm only taking 2 core modules and the other 2 Uni Core modules and total, I had 2 THICK textbooks (1 hardcover! The other text is paper cover but the thing is, I already have THAT text!!!), 2 Study Guides (A4), 1 lousy quality A4 text for the "Effective Communication" and another hardcover text that looks like some managerial kinda text...

Anyway, the point is, we are given a box for each of our core modules and it's actually very wasteful for the students collecting the materials... Since, any normal person will only be able to carry 2 boxes, 1 in each hand... at least for me coz I don't have big hands... most students will just combine the notes into 1 box so it's easy to move around... End up, lots of those paper boxes end up in the bin... and it's like that every sem! Not to mention, some of the modules are using the same text and instead of checking if the student has collected the same text before, they just give you 2 same textbook! What's the point?!

What a waste of paper!

Can't they do it better? I know the boxes is easy to collect and distribute but instead of using so many boxes which most students will throw, put it by the side and give it out only when us, students need it. And not for each module, give 1 box since I noticed that students who are taking more than 2 modules will combine the boxes. Or instead of boxes, just give away those recyclable bags! Then each and every sem, the student can use it over and over.. Ok, granted, the students may not use the same bag, but... Just give to 1st time collecting notes students lor. It's not difficult to check since it's all linked up in the system ma!

And how should the Uni be bothered with how the students carry their notes back home? Even if they don't collect their notes, it's us, students who are loosing out ultimately what. So, as a nice gesture, give the bag or something when we first collect our notes, then subsequently, whether we use that same bag or any other bag to cart those books and notes home... it's not a concern to the Uni ma.

I'm not Ms-Saving-Gaia... but hey... all these small actions by individual can reduce waste somewhat and then our poor mother earth will not be suffering so much!

It really made me so uncomfortable with all those cupboard boxes lying on the floor... perfectly good and nice and can be used again... I really felt that the Uni is wasting the resources. =(

A wait worth waiting...

I've been having waking moments in my sleep for the whole night yesterday and this morning, I heard hubby walking in through the door and I JUMPED up on bed! And my first words were, "The postman is here already?!"

But the answer was a disappointing, "Not yet lar." =( I was really really excited and wanted to start asap!!

Irene messaged me and asked if I got it and we were both eagerly waiting and waiting, finally, she said hers was there and I was even more anxious than ever!!!!

And finally at close to 11am, a lady in the black Vpost Polo tee came and I immediately went to the door to retrieve it! I've been waiting for sooooo long for this... and it's finally delivered to my doorstep today!

I got 2 books here coz we helped my sis order the Children's Version and the Adult version is for MOI... since my Harry Potter Series from "Half Blood Prince" onwards are in the Adult's version and I wanted to continue on with the same version.

Needless to say, I began reading right away and I read and I read and I read... I've finished the book early this morning already. Poor hubby was dozing off beside me as I read.

Finally, all the doubts and questions are answered and it put an end to the whole Harry Potter mystery. But, very soon, I'll start to re-read "Deathly Hallows" again, and this time, I'll slowly savor the story and also take my time to understand and to remember all the details! =)

But, it has satisfied my curiosity of the whole story!

Skincare

Sorry for my disappearance for a while, I was away for 2 days on a course and I realised, it has been some time since I last buy my 'special care' items and if there's one thing that I spurge on... It got to be on skincare.

I value my skin, especially my face. I value it LOTS! So... with such a beginning, it's not hard to guess what I'm going to say next already I guess... So, needless to say, once a while, I go on a skincare spree and spend myself silly over the things that I will and can buy.

I've been hearing and reading (from the online spree) that a certain mask is actually quite good, it's made in Taiwan but it's an Australia product. So, yesterday evening in Sasa, I got a few to try myself. I have not tried it yet but the masks looks so pretty! They costs me an average of $2.50 each but I'll soon go and try cause there's another spree going on and the costs is like half of what I paid each!

Then, this evening, after my course, I meet hubby in town and before he came, I was in Tangs. Tangs is my NOMINATED outlet for Clarins... so needless to say, I almost went crazy there... and I got myself just 4 items...My usual Sunblock, Lip Balm, upgraded the Eye Cream and then the Blemish Control, which by the way is now in 2 tiny and nice tubes of 5ml each (which hopefully, I will not break again!)... and just this, it's already a scary $218!!!!

But!!! Look at the free gifts that they are gave me.A big tote, a small pouch, bottles and bottles of smaller samples. Close up of all the bottles...What surprised me most was that they gave such a big bottle of the Body Veil! I have the Day & Night Cream, Hydra Care Serum (which acts like a toner), Cleanser, Whitening Essence and another toner...

I guess for the $218 that I paid, I sort of got back slightly half of what I paid in these samples and free gifts lor.

I tell myself, I can save on cosmetics, only buy a better foundation since it has the most contact with my skin but for the rest of the other kind of cosmetics, I'll use normal brands, not necessary to go to these counters to pay so much for it.

BUT when it comes to skincare, I'm willing to spurge... and indeed, so I have! I feel that with the proper skincare, even with minimum amount of "paint" that is on my face, I can still look good. Nothing beats having good skin.

I guess, it's really time I head my peers' advice to do some more EXERCISE and also cut down on junk food!!! I'm not too concern about the fluid intake part since I do drink lots of water on a daily basis. Must remind myself to EXERCISE and reduce JUNK food!

And on a completely level, in about 8 hours, the FINAL squeal to Harry Potter will be released WORLDWIDE... I'm eagerly waiting for the book now which Hubby has ordered for me. I do hope that the book will not be delivered to me too late!!!

I'm NOT coming online tomorrow, try not to sms me or make any contact... I'll be totally absorbed in this book.

Godma sent me this link earlier today and immediately, I forwarded the link to Irene. The both of us got kind of excited then.. hahaha...

And after just browsing thru for a short while, I picked out these for myself...What to do? Faced with so much temptations and it's so hard to resists and say 'No'. The jacket will come in useful for the Israel trip the rest... well, work and casual will do fine! =) I actually was aiming this jacket instead but unfortunately, the colleague of Godma din like it so the 3 of us decided to go for the grey jacket instead, since there must be a min order of 3 pieces of the same design before the order is confirmed.

SO, at the moment, the jacket is confirmed while the other 2 dresses are not... have to wait and see if anyone order. Anyway, I guess, it should not costs me more than $40 even if I get all 3 pieces. Cheap and nice!

I've been doing so much online shopping recently, before this batch comes in, I still have a batch of F21 clothings to come in as well as a top from another spree... Yet, at the sametime, if I go to the stores and shops, I can't seem to find anything interesting and nice.

How can this be possible!!!

I'm shopping wayyyyyy too much!

I think I should really really stop my stopping sprees.. I've been buying and buying and buying... NON-STOP!

A few days ago it was the F21 clothes and sunglasses... then a day later, I got myself an adhesive, backless, strapless bra to go with the new low cut dress... and then I also got myself that brown top I was aiming for sometime.

Then, earlier, Godma asked me if I want to get a particular jacket since it's suitable for our trip later part of this year. And I said yes. =/

Then, I'm still hooked onto the F21 webby EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! My goodness! I can't seem to stop shopping. hai... depressed... Coz I badly need to save and here I am, shopping and shopping and shopping. Buying and buying and buying... How???

I guess, my shopping mood comes up stronger whenever I have an argument with hubby. I just feel that hubby should not be running errands for his bro. And him on the other hand feels that it is perfectly fine to be running errands everywhere for him.

Somehow, to make myself feel better, I turn to shopping. And this is making me all the more depressed.

I'm so disappointed in hubby that he keeps lying and mis-leading me, all for his brother! I feel so low and useless as a wife and that hubby rather betrays my trust than to reject his brother. In all the years that I'm seeing hubby, he has never make me feel this way. I've never felt so unloved by hubby before. But recently, because of his brother, he lied to me... purposely withheld information and also fought with me over his brother.

It's not that hubby must give way to me. But the thing is that, if hubby and I fight over our own things, it's perfectly fine! Which marriage does not have arguments and fights right? But to argue and fight because of a 3rd UNRELATED person... THAT is what is so upsetting and hurting!!!!

Actually, there were so many, I had such a hard time choosing, thanks to Hubby who gave me some advises and comments and I finally made up my mind. =)

Harry Potter Movie 5

Hubby and I went to watch Harry Potter 5; Order of the Phoenix... where the Lord Voldemort makes his grand return and announced his pressence to the public in this movie last night at the new AMK Hub, Cathay. My verdict for the show?"Disappointing!"

Maybe if one did not read the book as throughly as I did, then the movie is suitably impressed and probably find the movie nice... Hubby did. And he has never touch a Harry Potter book so I made that assumption...

The director has sort of changed the story! The Dusleys left the house to send Duddley to the hospital, but it's supposed that they are on the way to receive the "Best kept lawn." Members of the Order who went to fetch Harry had to wait for signals before setting off! All teams were disbanded, Harry and the Wesely twins were given a lifetime ban on Quidditch, hence Ginny and Ron played. All were missing! M-I-S-S-I-N-G! Not to mention, Marietta who blabbed was not part of the movie, instead it was Cho who seemed to betrayed the D.A. Harry likes CHO!!! How can the director give the impression to the audience that it was Cho who blabbed and cause the break up?! Argh!!! And the worse!!!! Harry handed the prophecy to Lucias! My Goodness!!! THAT is sooooooooo untrue and unreal!

This got to be the most disappointing Harry Potter movie that I've watched!

For the director...Yar! Don't break rules! Keep to the story!

Argh!

I'm beginning to IMMENSELY dislike my FAMILY-in-laws!

They are going to Phuket and now, hubby have to drive them to airport at a freaking 4.45AM! Not to mention, after that, send the damn car to the garage to be serviced.

I'm not surprised that during their trip in Phuket, Hubby receives a call and tell him to take the car from the garage and then drive to airport to FETCH them back!

TMD! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking of getting this....

I saw this nice top from an online shop, from a spree....Nice right? After all the shipping fees and handling fees, it may be slightly over $20? And it's so suitable for work! Especially when worn with pants!

But too bad! Before, I can place order, the spree had closed! =(

Very sad now la. I'm keeping a lookout, the moment someone else is organizing another spree from this merchant, I'm gonna order it immediately!

Already emailed the organizer yesterday, she said, she's likely to hold another spree from this merchant maybe end of this month or early next month.

All I can do now is hope that by that time, this top is still in stock and still in my size!

I want this top... and now I sound like a spoilt brat. -_-"

I got my eyes lens yesterday and the packaging is changed! Now it's fatter. =/ I prefer the older packaging since it's slimmer and it's easier to store it.

Though I still buy the same quantity, but since it's broader now, it took up more space as compared. But then, as long as it's better (as I was told) and more comfortable for me, then I guess it don't really matter.

But I'm quite glad to go all the way to Square 2 to get it from him since he gives me better rates. =) Did my overdue eye test and I'm glad to know, All is well. =)

Well, if you need some optometrist, leave me a note, I can give a good recommendation.

Of all days...

Of all the days that there is someone at home, the postman don't want to come and deliver my registered post.

Today, of all days, when none of us is at home, the postman have to come. Cane home to find a failed delivery notice under the door. =( And that is the 2GB memory card.

No choice, got to ask the postman to redeliver on another day. At least sing post have a rather good service, they can re-deliver and I don't have to go down to collect. =)

Hope that the card will work fine so my $$ is not wasted. =)

On another note, I woke up this morning and halfway thru bathing, I broke out in cold sweat and my stomach was having such a bad cramp that I can hardly stand up straight. I thought I was hungry so quickly fix something for breakfast and after eating, still not much better.

Decided to crawl into bed and rest for a while. I guess my "crawling" woke up hubby and he was surprised to see me dozing off in bed at that time. =/

Finally at 5 minutes to 9, I dragged myself out of bed and went to the doctor. Gosh! My usual doc was sooo crowded and the assistant told me I had to wait for at least an hour. Forget it then. I walked further down and the other clinic was almost empty, without thinking, I went in.

Luckily, I was the 2nd person and within 15 minutes, I'm done.

Verdict? "Gastricatics" =(

Since my boss is such an AH, I decided to go back to office instead of taking MC.

Hai... forever getting this.. Feeling better after medicine but after the medicine wears off, the pains come back.

Most of my sprees have arrived!

The oh-so-adorable-baby-clothes from Old Navy, my dressy top from Forever 21, a little bubble top from some Taiwan webby, all arrived safely via the mailbox. =)

I must say the spree organizers in the sprees are pretty trustworthy, none got lost and there were also timely updates about the items. Pretty responsible spree organizers, I say!

Got the Baby clothes yesterday and it was all so cute. I so wished I have a BB girl too so I can doll her up. But then again, the responsibilities that comes with being a parent is no joke too. So, for the time being, I'll be happy to just look and play with other people's babies. =D

Then I got my Forever 21 dressy top today too. My face fell and heart sank, it looked soooooo small and tiny!!! How do I even fit inside?!?! But I was sooo hot from rushing home, I did not have the chance to try it on.

But after I bathe, immediately, I pull it over myself. HEH!!! Not that bad.. quickly go and twirl and swirl around in front of hubby. He say nice too lei! hahahaha... Happy already!

Now, planning and thinking of a day this week where I can wear it to work! Yay... Plenty of new clothes.

When it comes to other things, I'm at times half past six or at other times, then it's maybe slightly better but seldom great and so energetic. But this time, after all the purchases, shopping and $$ spending, I'm getting real good at spending, spending, spending! =(

I've just burst another $300 today!!! Hai... Just like that. *POOF!*

Feeling the pinch already as the credit bills are starting to come in. One bill reads a grand total of close to $1 thousand already.

But to make things more justifiable, the $300 is for my sight. W/o them, I won't be able to see at all. So, it's ok to have spurge and spent right? But, I must say that this is an indulgence, I've just bought half year supply of Daily lens of Bausch & Lomb. I'm using monthly disposables but nothing as convenient and comfortable as wearing and throwing it away after a day. It's especially great for trips and camps and also for spares (when the monthly gets lost or spoilt) since there is NO need to bring solution, case and also the fear that I loose my one and only precious pair of eyes...worse when we go Israel and this happens right?

But unfortunately, I totally forgot about buying it before today and now, I'm caught with the 7% GST hike.

But the lucky thing is I got my lens from a friend, so it's still at least slightly cheaper than getting it from the retail stores. So still save a teeny, tiny, little bit! =)

Waiting for my eyes to be delivered, definitely in time for our trip. But feeling heart pain since it's another couple of hundred of dollars.
