Oh what joy...

These few days have been so good... hubby manage to borrow BIL's car coz he went to M'sia and so we took over his car for a few days.

So since Wed morning, hubby was able to fetch me to work, then have bf wif me then he goes off to work for 3 days in a row. I throughly enjoyed being ferryed to and fro.. haha.. How I wish we can have a car too.. But just driving around for the past 3 days.. the amt we spent on petrol and car park is also enough to push the thoughts off my mind liao... haha

Wed nite, I went home to cook... then after dinner, hubby drove me around... I suggested gng to East Coast park... so we made our way there.. and since I cannot read maps, I dont know the way neither does hubby so we were lost.. when we finally reach ECP... we spent less than 30 mins there and then we left.. haha.. But we went to take a short walk then leave ECP. We went to Casurina for prata and then I told hubby I want to go n "catch dog/monkey" (liak gao - I'm not sure the "gao" is dog or monkey though) haha... so hubby drove me to lower and upper seletar to find sme actions.. but so disappointing leh, din manage to catch anyone in action leh.

Finally after a long night out, we decided to head home and call it a day.

Thurs, morning as usual, hubby drove me to office for bf and then he left for office. I went for Kickboxing after work, and hubby being the swt hubby he is, came to fetch me and Joelle, we sent Joelle home and then we went back to our plc kopitiam for dinner/supper. Gosh... I ate soooooo much!! I had Bee Hoon goreng fm the Indian stall and then 2 BBQ wings + a can of soft drink.. goodness.. all those punches, kicks and sweats are all for nothing man.

Fri... the day which my kaypo colleagues asked soooo many questions! -_- Had the ISBG netball competition, so hubby came to watch me while I play. Brenda's hubby cute leh, the ang mo ang mo cute kind. haha..
While we were in the middle of the 2nd match, captains were all called for a meeting and that delayed the match by lots.. and from no rain, we waited till it was heavy downpour!! And then another long wait for the decision to have the games or not have the games.. sigh... finally decision was made for no games and I quickly went to bathe. Coz after bathing, we still hv to rush to CTK for RCIA. Thank God, we have the car, if not by the time i reach CTK wld be 9 pm!
Hai... listened to hubby and we went down wrong ways.. so had to climb the stairs all the way up to exit the campus... sigh.
But the time we went to the car, it already stopped raining, so we just go to CTK fm there.. was famished as well as tired... but that din stop us from gng to Casariuna for prata again =) I like their paper prata!! Yummy yummy

Sat - the last day we had the car, we drove to J8... and din do much there anymore. Coz hubby took part in the Ginvera - Nugeno men competition; to shrink ur face within 10 mins and the thing was sooooo long. Have to register at 1pm and then wait and wait and wait.

By the time he was done it was past 5pm and we rushed dw to CTK for mass. But while waiting for hubby, I went to cut my hair, now it is shorter and punkier (if there is such a word) than ever. Walked arnd but still hubby not done, when I finally decided to go n get a drink in MOS, just after my bum touch the seat, Emilyn sms me saying she come find me... haha... what a concidence! So hard to meet her and a chance meeting in J8 on Sat.
But we din have a chance to catch up much then hubby called and say he can go... so bid farewell and left. By the tm we reach CTK, our usual seats were full coz there was the Rite Of Acceptance for the wed group RCIA. So we had to sit at the sides.
Then after mass, we zoomed to Lynn's hse. Coz she's having a BBQ for us - the wedding helpers. Wld have stayed late to yak and laff but too bad hubby is on night shift and then 1 of his colleagues is down so he cannot go late as he orginally planned to so we had to leave before the party even started. *sigh*
And even with Godma in the car wif us, we got lost a couple of times, we missed a turn and then went into some wrong roads and then took a long long time to reach home. Along the way, Wiselyn sms me for coffee, so since hubby working, i decided to join them. Hubby wld hv sent me to J8 fm hm... but too bad my hp NO batt... so had to charge it abit before I can go off and hubby cld not spare the time to wait for me lor. Too bad.. no free ride, I had to take the bus there myself.

Din have a chance to c hubby till he came hm at 4am.. was awaken by the door opening and then the bathroom lights and shower noise. So we both being dead tired just fell asleep the moment we lie down on the bed again.

Woke up at close to 11am, hubby said he took sme leftovers fm his co... and I heated up the pizza, fish burger and sme other knicks knacks tat we hv at hm.. and for the whole of Sudnday, we just ate all these junk, nua and watch TV. Sometime in the early evening, I know hubby went to return car to his bro.. My plan was to go IKEA.. coz hv car, easier for us to bring our purchases back.. since we want to buy a cabinet to house our bed sheets n linens. Well.. another time then.. But still, today is a very very relaxing day. No need to cook, no need to clean, wake up, eat, nap, eat, watch tv and slp.. woah!! My kinda sunday!

I never never knew that my colleagues are sooooooo KAYPO!!! I can't take it!

This afternoon just before lunch, another colleague (who sits within the same office as me) called me aside to tell me that earlier this morning, there was another colleague who called her up and asked her if there is a new male temp staff within our office. Coz she seen me come up to office with a young man. Looks abit too old to be student, but not like any man who is dressed to go to work.

So that kaypo colleague began to dig for more info. The colleague who sits with me in the same office told her something along the lines of "Y u dig so much?","Tat guy is her husband!" Of course I must bear in mind that this colleague may hv kua chang and added in fuel or something coz by the time i heard it it's already 2nd hand.

So anyway, I am just rather pissed that this has to happen of all times. Coz today is the last time in a row that hubby fetches me to work and comes up with me. From Monday onwards, I will be coming on my own and then they wont have a chance to c him again and coz of the way it was said, it's as though I bring men up for affairs!! Goodness!!

So happens that Brenda (my netball captain) also has the same thing happening to her before and she jokingly told the 2 of us, next time, we shall prade our husbands around annoucing to the world that this is my husband, Mr my name!!

These days, have been talking to Trina. And can sense that Kel made her so sad wif his ways.

I don't think that she is behaving unreasonably neither is she behaving in the 'princessy' manner. I think if I were in her shoes, I would be doing the same things and thinking the same thoughts.

I don't deny that sometimes she may be a bit pampered but on this I feel tat she is being perfectly woman about it, to feel insecure and to feel sad and to feel at a total loss of what to do.. But I totally totally salute her in being to refuse to answer his calls for 3 SOLID weeks! I myself cannot do that lar.. I lack the determination to do something like this.

But then again I think it may be made worse by the fact that he is in Aust and she is in SG. Long distance re-ships are definately harder to manage.

Only thing will be for her to really cool down and think things thru. And I still believe that they must have a good long talk before anything can be concrete.

Kel do strike me as someone who is not very senstitive and rather immature at times. But then again how often do I see him? I may be wrong. I dont see his other factors coz I dont know him well enough. Only Trina will be able to judge for herself.

Spend $, spend $, SpEnD! sPeNd!! SPENT!!!

Took half day leave yesterday in the afternoon and went to shop with Trina! Actually the full purpose of taking half day leave is to go to Taka and buy the Corelle utencils coz it is on promotion.

Before we started to go and buy anything, we took lunch 1st, it's not fun shopping on empty stomachs neither is it fun to shop with empty wallets. =P

10 piece at $199 with a free potable gas stove or 6 piece with 4 free bowls. I wanted to get the 6 piece (2 glass lids, 1 plastic lid and 3 carosoles) with the free bowls then I saw another promotion set, also 6 piece but at $75. This 6 piece comes with 2 glass lids, 2 plastic lids and 2 of the famous carosoles.

Because of the costs constraint and also owing simply that I do not need so many carosoles, I decided to the get the package that is just $75. And I also got a cook book from the tanyu pot section. =) I think I'm on my way to becoming a great chef! Ha!Ha!

Was going to walk arnd with the items.. then I think it is too clumbersome and too heavy, finally decided to ask Trina to open her car door and put the item in then we can go shopping easily!

Walked arnd Taka, actually nothing much to c or buy till we hit Wistma.. by chance we turned into Fashion Lab... and in it.. wah... both of us spent $108... there were additional 20% discount, tat's y I only spent $76.80 out of the $108... before discount it was supposed to be $96 leh! I bought 3 different colour racers, white, blue and red =) Material is good.. but still abit pricy la.. compared to my $10 racers that I get fm Baleeno, Girodano or Samuel&Kelvin.. but nvm la..

Then I went to Crystal Jade to get the soya sauce chicken. Not on promotion but the Ginsen Chicken was, so I bought tat. Equally nice when we had it for dinner later on. ha!

Then we decided we need a break, went to Mcdonald's for a drink and knowing gals, we yak for a good long time before we moved off again.

Last stop, went to MAC and I bought a new lip gloss for myself!

Then feeling happy and satisfied with my purchases, we decided to go home! =)

End to a wonderful shopping day!!

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter Everyone!! =)

The period of suffering and woe and abstinence is finally over and it is time to rejoice coz our dear Lord JC is risen again! Hooray!!!

Last night or rather, this morning coz we slept so late, we were soooo tired, we cld not get out of bed. By the time, we manage to crawl out of bed and open our sleepy eyes, it was already past noon! This is the 1st time that we slpet till sooo late! The last time we slept till after 11am was coz of our wedding.

Memories of what happened last nite slowly came back to mind. After the Easter Vigil, godma together with her 5 new god children came to our plc for a little post baptism celebration. Had Hokkien noodles, Chicken Mutabak, BBQ Chicken wings, bee hoon and the ever so famous Hilton Cheese Cake and after tasting it, gosh, it's not famous for nothing! They were here since maybe 11pm and stay all the while till arnd 2.40am. Laff and yak and chat.. they also looked thru our wedding photos and looked at our hse too la. I feel like I have been thru this so many many times. But there will always be ppl who have not come to our plc before lor.

I'm happy to have them come over, at least it is at our place, it's convenient. But the draw back is that we got to clear up the mess lor. haha.. They din really creat alot of mess also la but still got to do some light cleaning up. But both hubby and me were so dead beat, we just kept the food, threw the remains and rubbish (and thank God for INTERNAL rubbish chutes) and then we took our shower and went into dreamland.

And now back to the present... we both crawled out of bed and then slowly ramage the fridge for the remains of the this morning's cheese cake. Each of us had 2 slices and tat settled our brunch.

Since it is hubby's job to mop the floor, I nua in front of the google box.. feeling darn lazy and relaxed! =) When he is done, he wanted to watch "Triple X" quite a nice show wif a good looking guy with a o so hot bod! Enjoyed the show v v much.

Then managed to cajole hubby to go and buy dinner for us.. so i continued to laze some mre.. =)

Easter Sunday and we had a easter bunny too.. all the way from Austria. A gift from Eric (Godma's hubby) we each nibble part of it and left the biggest chunk in the fridge too.

And I don't even feel blue tat it's Monday tml.. coz I guess I am on PM leave... so tat really REALLY helps! haha..

Hmmm... maybe I shd start taking Mondays afternoon off for the rest of the year! Ha! Ha!

Holy Saturday

Just managed to send the last of my newly baptised god brothers and sisters (a total of 5 of them!!) thru the main door... clear up some of the mess and gosh..too tired to blog anything else.

Good Friday

Good Friday or rather Easter Friday.. day where JC died for our sins.

Went to CTK at 2pm for the 3pm mass. Woo.. by the time we reached there the church is relatively empty and we saw quite alot of our Exodus RCIA ppl there so naturally we sat togehter but Godma wanted to sit at another pew wif her family so we split up when we reach CTK.

Mass, opps.. not mass, it's service coz for today, the priest left out the Eucharastic Prayer... so we just hv holy communion but did not have the 'transforming' of bread and wine.

After mass, we went to J8, wanted to get my hair cut since yesterday.. but sucks the stylist is just not there yesterday and today.. so forget it, will go back to Helen la. Waste my time and my $.

Had chi cha dinner at the coffee shop behind the CPF building then walked arnd a bit and went home.. End of my Easter Friday.

Tml is Holy Sat and then we will finally have our elects baptised!

ohh.... ahhh... a day of relaxation

Was on leave today.. what bliss! =)

Actually, today supposed to be a day of sorrow coz our dear dear Lord, Jesus Christ will be tortured and going to die tml.

Woke up rather early for a day that need not work coz we are gng to our Parish church for the annual Chrism Mass in which the archbishop will bless the various oil being used for this coming entire year.

We had breakfast and then go to CTK, but when we reach, it was already quite packed so we had to sit at the back.. which I dont really like but no choice. Then after mass, we went to AMK - Maybank to settle some banking issues and then had a late lunch then we went home. Just had time to sit and rest of 30 mins or so then we were off the CTK again for the Maundy Thursday mass.

This is the mass that I least like coz it is so sad, so solemn and so bleak where all of us are thinking the immense love that JC has for us that he is willing to die for our sins when HE himself is the sinless and pure one.

Jie met up with us to go for the Maundy Thursday mass and after tat, we went to AMK S11 to hv dinner, not supposed to have meat.. but I had chicken chop.. hai.. chatted for a while and then found out that older BIL may hv a new gf.. so i told Jie to let us know if he brings her home, I v curious la.. haha

After dinner, went home to nua some mre and get ready for Good Friday mass tomorrow.

the sky cries on the hour..

I was told by Trina that recently, the sky will pour on the hour and it usually starts at either 3pm, 4pm or 5pm but never in between.

Today or rather now, the sky decided to start abit earlier. When it started to pour a few mins ago, I decided to check it out for myself by looking at the time. N boy, she was right! The rain came at 1.56pm, almost 2pm.

I don't think that there is anything so special at raining on the specific hours but hey.. it's almost like clockwork these days and it's sure to pour in the evenings.

time pasts sooooo slowly

Why is it when I am only working 3 days this week and the time seems to simply slow down and not move at all?!

Sucks. I am so irriated today. Din manage to sleep well last nite coz some idiot indians were at the void decks of my opp block, talking and laughing away the whole nite and being a light sleeper, all these noise really gets to me and I din manage to sleep.

Kept being jostled awake and then still hear their voices. Was soooo tempted to call the NPP but then again I thought since they are downstairs working on their religious thing, I just bear with it but it was a terriable night! Hubby don't seem to be affected at all, he slept like a pig throughout.. hai..

And today, is a boring day, nothing much to do and I simply sit here and waste my time. So darn boring!!!

battle with the light ants

Last nite... Hubby was watching "super band" and I snooze off while watching on the sofa.. I was suddenly awkaen by sme scratchy feeling on body and also jotled wide awake with hubby's shout of "WAH!" and he begin staring at the lights.

So naturallly I looked up and goodness!! There were swarms and swarms of light ants in our hse, at the 4 lights that we usually on!! Both of us jump up and sprang into actions. Off the lights, but still have alot.

Hubby took insectscide and wanted to spray them down but he decided not to coz the they will drop all over the plc. We lighted candles, those ants flew into it and then were literally burned to deadth. Finally, we took out the vaccumm cleaner and then we started sucking them all into it. But gosh!! No matter how hard we suck or spray them, more just kept coming in!! Sooooo irriated!!! ARGG!!!

We sprayed at the door, the windows and yet they can still come in.. It's like no end to killing it!! Don't know where they came from or how they appear. SERIOUSLY!!!

In the end, we were both dead tired, we off all the lights, sprayed once mre at the cracks that we suspect they come in from, turn on the air con and went off to bed.

This morning, when I go look at the door, there were still so many dead and must have attempted to crawl in and dying in the process..

Gosh!!! I wished I won't have to see them again and most impt, during the gathering this Sat, they don't come!!!

Don't know what is wrong with the weather these days.

From early evening onwards, the sky will start to turn grey, then gradually darker and darker then if finally pours at 4+, 5pm. Today it started pouring abit later, 5+ if not Godma will complain that it's raining heavily when she is gng home. Today, it started pouring after she left for home fm office. Heng for her but bad for me.. I will be trapped in the rain later then.

Earlier today, Godma and me were discussing drinks and food for the post baptism party at home nt sat. Finally decided on the drinks and we will be having red and white wine with a twist to it, we will add in some other favourings to the wine. So Godma will go n check out the prices as she go hm.

Also told her that there is a new guy working in the bakery shop, told her to go n check him out. He's not exactally good looking, but tall and big size, the kind tat I like. He's a M'sian from the sounds that he makes. I find him appealing. Hahaha.. coz i like his size. haha

I quite bad hor, married liao still like this.. but hey, no harm in looking mar.

approaching mid week

Finally it's time for normal bed time! We finally finished the 大长今 DVD on Sunday nite. It's such a relief finishing the whole long long show. But yet, also kinda sad.. haha coz nothing to chase and look forward to anymore in the evenings, unless we want to watch it on TV again lor.

This week so far has been rather boring la.. as usual. *SIGH* Tried to do my appraisal and to submit my monthly report. Really quite bored, nothing much to do.. and I am getting paid for chatting on MSN and blogging. Ha!

Had management meeting with PHS's sch team yesterday and I went home late. Luckily was able to rush home and cook and eat my dinner (Pasta; the quick and easy meal when in rush) before our insurance agent, Amy comes with our policies.

Meeting started abit late but definately ended late! And I din even have time to go n return key nor tape. SO had to come in earlier today so that I can go n return in case any1 needs to use it.

The sec.. called me at just after 9am, demanding where is her tape. Told her with Chua then she hang up. I dont know if it is coz i've step on her toes before or she is like tat. But anyway, just leave it as it is lar. sigh..

Last nite, was the first time I boiled my new slow cooker. And to prepare for dinner tonite, I cut up all the necessary vegs left it in the fridge and this morning, woke up slightly earlier to throw all the necessary into the pot. I hope and pray that the pot will not explode and that the soup will not overflow.. Coz being me, I did not read the instructions (as usual) and instead of putting in veg 1st, I put in meat 1st then veg and also filling it wif quite a large amt of water..

Godma assures me that by the time I go hm later, the pot of soup will be done and only abit (if at all) will spill onto the table top and DEFINATELY won't explode. While hubby's stand is, explode nvm, coz our hm is covered under insurance. Hurmph!! Some kinda reasoning ya??

Tonite... I've already planned. Will have the soup which has been boiling away for the whole day.. taste better be good!! I'm gonna hv chicken wings and last of all, steam toufu in honey soya sauce in garlic and mushrooms!

I hope hubby enjoy his dinner tonite.. and I just cfm that my home is protected as of tat day we signed the insurance. Good!!

random posts

Been sometime since I last posted in here. For just some strange reasons, just can't pick up enough zeal to come in and to write or rather type something.

This few days passed by w/o much happenings except me being exposed at not gng for the staff conference hosted by my former school director.

Have no wish to talk about it again... i actually went out with Trina.. How was I to know that boss will saboh me and mentioned my name in front of ALL those ppl??! Hai.. that is the worse thing that happen to me in my work here.

Did v little this week - almost nothing at all. Unless being saboh as 1 of the happening things.. Vendors come and go to deliever and take back items. Then reading and prying into other ppl's blogs.. exciting lor.. hai.. so darn bored at work.

And the moment we reached home, bathe, eat then we plonk ourselves in front of the google box to catch 大长今 on DVD. Thank God we have enough network to borrow the disc! If we were supposed to catch it on TV, we will be like rushing to go hm most of the nights. BUT! With the DVD, we are still rushing home.. so tat we can watch more of it.

I have not slept earlier than 1 am since last Friday.. wish that we will finish the show soon.. Left with disc 7 and 8. Shd be able to finished it by tml then!

Good deed indeed!

Godma and me planned something naughty but benefitcial for bro and his wife today.. in fact a few mintues ago only!

W/o his knowledge or approval, we registered him and his wifey for ME which stands for Marriage Encounter! This is good for couples who have been married for at least 5 years and when the marriage is stale and settled into a routine, time to add sme spice and re-discover each other all over again coz most marriages wld have fallen into a routine by then.

N poor bro, seems to be having sme problems with his wifey which they cannot seem to resolve, so hopefully the ME will help them to open up to each other and to salvage the marriage.. and most importantly, God to come into their lives and then to lead the both of them on lor.

Acutally last nite I also had a squabble with hubby lor. I was pissed coz of his bad habbits lor.. leave the clothes on top of the washing machine to air dry for days and the clothes were stacking on top of each other.. among sme other minor things.

I feel tat it's so hard to stay together.. so many things that we cannot agree on.. and all these are not the big issues, it's mre of the small things that put a wedge thru a couple. Now I'm begining to understand y ppl say it's the small things.. really..

When it comes to bigger items or issues, it seems we are able to resolve it calmly n peacefully.. but when it comes to minor.. hai..

Guess we still hv v long long long long way to go.

*Whew* Finally the visits for this week is over! Handling 2 school visits in 1 week on alternate days is no joke, but at least better than the last time, 1 day, 2 different schools! 1 in the morning, another in the afternoon!

1st day was Bowen Sec, all the naughty Sec 2's. Wonder y the teacher bring them here, they are too young to appreciate all these. Today was Mayflower Sec. Don't like the school and I don't like the teachers. All the bao tau.. eee.. I know I am racist lar.. But really cannot take this school. The teachers are so demanding! It has a long way of histroy lar, the former teacher is demanding, this one not so demanding but about the same.

Year after year, they expolit us, make use of our facilities coz it's free and yet when the time comes for enrollement, we don't see their students! What pissed me off most is this lor. Expolit us and make use of our facility. AND when they are here, take up greater half of the day!

Thank God the next time I see them will be next year!

Concerned or Inteferring?

A few days ago, actually on the nite when I went for my kick box, I got 2 calls fm FIL. He called twice coz I switched off my hp and singtel users hv this service where they will send a sms to my hp when it's on agian tat a certain no called me __ times..

By the time I switched on my hp, it was abt 8.10 pm or thereabouts, was walking arnd in Mango with Joelle and imagine my surprise when I saw the number fm PIL's home, not once but twice as well. So I called back, thining somehow, hubby must have changed his mind on gng for a swim but went to his parents' hm for dinner. So I tried to reach him on his mobile but not on.. so I called his home.

MIL picked up the phone, she told me no one was looking for me and neither is hubby there.. so I was about to hang up when FIL came to the line.

He was ok, polite then he asked/told me tat hubby met 6th aunt earlier and told her that he gng for a swim, asked me if I knew.. Told him I do. Then he continued to ask if I am with him, told him no, then he asked where I was, what I do, how often, how much etc etc. I answered him as best as I can in mandrain.. *Note that one can't really translate kickboxing in chinese within that few mins.. Then he asked abt dinner, told him no have'nt eat, will be gng hm to eat with hubby later.

Chatted for a while more then we hang up.

When I reache home, hubby was already home so I asked him if FIL called him, he say nope.

Acutally I am wondering, since it is his son who met 6th aunt, why call me? Y not call his son to ask him? Not that I mind answering him but I find it weird that he calls me to ask all these questions when his son will know too.

Godma tells me tat he is concerned tat I do not look after his son proberly.. but hey.. his son is a grown man too, capable of being someone else's daddy too! So need FIL be so uptight over his son?

As I am penning this dw.. suddenly it occured to me.. cld it be coz that his oldest son broke up wif the gf and tat since 6th aunt told him tat hubby went swimming and I am not in sight, he is worried that we are on the rocks too?

Or is it simply just a concerned father wantting to know what his children are doing for the evening???

Intimacy..

All human beings yearns for intimacy. Be it just a hug, a hand shake, a pat on the head or even just being there with each other. Tat's us, human, we like to hv ppl near us, rnd us and with us.

N when 2 person got married, the closest form of intimacy will be when the couple is making love. (Not that my blog is a porn webby ok! Just my own thoughts!)

Even before I married hubby, we have been engaging in pre-marital sex, but after our wedding last Oct, it makes it more special coz everytime when we are making love, it's open to the possibility of creating a BB. (Last time, we made sure we are "protected")

The feeling is different, and the results may or may not vary.

The only thing tat we are doing, is family planning, so on my fertile days, we abstain and when I have passed it, we come back to each other again. I've realised it makes hubby more looking forward to it after a period of abstainance.. like after my period and after my fertile days. In these 2 times of the month, he is gentler, more loving and definately more desparate.. haha.. But no matter what or how he is, I like him, I love it the way when he comes to me and also during the 2 times of the month, he does not force himself on me, neither does he complains, he waits and this makes me feel special and loved by him more too.

I've just passed my fertile days and last nite was the 1st time after this mth's fertile days, he was so loving towards me and this morning when my alarm went off, he turned towards me for more..

Finally.. Mid Week..

It's only 1 day since I came back to work and I can't wait for the week end to come agian.. Y is working time such a chore?

The time just seems to slowly tick by! Hai..

Finally rushed out the LNI for boss this morning, in addition to the annual "Appraisal" I hate this LNI too! Goodness, the courses aren't updated in the other service providers and we got to like choose which course to go? I've been here for 5 years, those courses that interest me, I wld have gone right?! *sigh*

Thank Goodness it's mid week, time for my weekly dosage of sweat n jumbs n kicks!

I've noticed that after all those punches, kicks and sweat, I feel fresher than I was previously! No wonder, ppl do say go for exc when they are tired!

Girls' afternoon out!

After such a long time, finally have the luxury to 'date' Trina out all by myself. Haha.. Gosh.. i sound so possessive.. I mean, the 2 of us manage to go out 1 afternoon w/o the bf and hubby tagging along.

As students, we used to sneak out quite often to just catch up and relax. Since started work, not so often. And then she went to Brissy to study so all the mre no chance. So finally, since I was on leave, we made plans to meet up. =)

She came to pick me at J8, was there doing the registration of my mum's starhub pre paid card this time. (all the 3 days, got to start wif sme mobile thingy.. hai..) Then just as i finished it, she called me. So just nice, she can send her family to the family biz and then she can pick me at the same time and we can go off fm there. No need to let her make another rnd to come and pick me.. I also pai sey lor..

Since we both of nothing much to buy, we dropped by at Isetan.. aimless walking arnd (actually I wanted to get 2 hp pouch, but cannot find any that I am keen in so..) then we decided to go to Taka.. Since I was hungry, we looked for food. Sat in MOS and eat and yak... share abt girls stuff and re-ships too.. I think v v common topics among girls.. =P

Shopped arnd abit mre.. and though I keep saying nothing to buy and it is aimless shopping, I spent mre than a $100 bucks too!

Alone on Fancl it's $97.. this time i got the tonner and moisturizer. And Fancl staff know how to do biz and keep clients leh.. They give me additional sample sets and though Trina din buy any, she also got the same minus the "Tense Up".. clever sales tatics!

Then went to crystal jade and buy the soay sauce chicken since I am in town and I know my in laws like the chicken (or rather I like) and cheaper than outside. So also buy 1 coz gng to their hse for dinner tonite... good to go wif somethings right.. haha Wld hv bought another chicken for my own family but only 3 adults at home, cannot finish lor.

Then went to Marks and Spencer just want to buy something to official "open" my new Robinson card!

So all in all, a day of "nothing much to buy" end up paying close to $120 not inclusive of lunch.

Shopping is sooooo ex!! BUT, I still enjoy it! Ha..

another trip back to the mobile shops...

Just yesterday morning, we came and this morning, we are back agian... this time not so excited anymore, we slp till a bit later. Also coz we did not have to go mass (since we went last evening) so being the lazy us, we slp late..

Then we made our way to the mobile shop.. this time not to purchase but to exchange for a new hp.. or rather demand we have a new handset!

For some strange reason, sme ringing tones cannot be played when Hubby set it on.. so we want to exchange.. but the sales has told us that there is not exchange policy and tat we need to go to the manufacturer to exchange.. so we were prepared to fight for the handset to be change.

But.. hey.. we din hv to do any fighting at all. Upon testing, the sales changed a new set for us, but if there's any other problems, we got to go back to the manufacturer. Not bad leh..

Then we went for a leisure lunch at Delifrance.. Had pizza and crossiant sandwich and salad.. not bad too. Thought a bit pricy.. After the leisure lunch, we went to Ikea... I really want to get roman blinds.. but on closer inspection of the material, price and maintenance.. We decided to not (again) Up end up, we finally manage to get our CLOCK. Whew.. We also got some other nitty gritty items, storage boxes etc.. and tat amounts to $40++ too.. gosh.. $ is so small in SG!

Went hm, proudly hang up our new clock. Looks not bad on where it's being hang then took our showers, play with hp sme mre and then went to parents' hm for dinner.

We saved the laundry as an after dinner activity.. haha

ta da!! a brand new..

Hello motto..

Yep, tat's the brand of my brand new hp.. it's the Motorola Razor V3i! Quard band and with a full lot of other accessories which I doupt I will use.. haha... but still it's a cool hp to hold and after all the trade in, end up I only pay $248. Not bad right? haha

Happy with my new hp and will take the chance to slowly explore how to use it.

I was so excited at getting a new hp that I woke up at 10 plus and then pester hubby to wake up and go to the shops to change it! Like the excited child I was, I just can't lie back on the bed and get back to sleep. So hubby finally wake up and brought me to the shops. =)

We went straight into the shops took our queue number and started to wait. Luckily did not have to wait long coz we were there quite early.

But when it came to my turn.... gosh... the next person behind me waited for a long time.. coz I changed 3 sets at one time! My 2 sisters and mine =) and I helped my dad do the registration of his pre paid sim card.

Finally when all is in plc, we rushed off for makan then rush back hm.. coz i had to reach CTK by 4 pm for a meeting.. and we had to go hm to for me to bring a pail for the scrunity - Woman at the Well.

Tiring day, zoom to parents's hm to pick up handsets, zoomed to singtel, zoomed for lunch, wolved it down then zoomed back hm, played with our new sets for a while, before I again zoomed to parents' hm to pass handsets to my sisters and pick up pail n then finally zoomed to CTK.. wah.. lotsa zooming arnd.. at times like this, I really wished we had a car.. then I don't hv to zoom arnd so much and also no need to bear with the super super hot afternoons!

After meeting, had mass then we hv prayers after mass.. wah.. kinda long day already so hubby and me snooze off during prayers.. hai.. then we went hm.. waited for a long long long time for our spring chicken then it's in front of the google box.. for the nt DVD, "Kingdom of Heaven".

Happy Birthday, Godma!

Godma's Bday today and we are gng to M'sia to spend SGD.. haha.. Bigger currency can buy more things, or so we thought.

Went for a good delifrance breakfast wif Godma while waiting for Bro and his wife to come and pick us fm J8 then we made our way to JB for the rest of the day! haha..

We were still v v surprised that bro's wifey agree to come with us, we thought she will say no.. haha.. but well, she surprise us and the way I look at it, it is God's way of working his magic.

Made our way by driving into JB City Square. Shopped arnd and arnd and arnd.. sigh.. another disappointment. Nothing to buy, no clothes nothing.. sigh.. wat is it with shopping malls these days??

Godma assure me that, it is normal for the M'sia malls to be this bad. But I din reckon that it will be so bad!! Sigh..

The only good thing is that their food is cheap. We stopped for lunch in "Seasons Cafe" which turns out to be "Swensens" lor.. haha... food wise not bad but price wise v v good!! For the 4 of us, we only spent $72 RM!! Woo.. convert back to SGD, it's only $36 SGD, divide by 3 (coz we gave Godma a treat) it's only $12 SGD.. wah.. really cheap hor.. and we had, chef's salad, fish and chips, baked cheese pasta, fried chicken and a hawaillin pizza. All these for $36 SGD. Really pays to go in to M'sia to spend $ lei.

And since we din manage to get anything, we decided to move on to "The Store" they sell lots of household, which I bought also.. Good to have extra at home lor.. So can use mar and cheaper.. I got milk, yalkut, julie's chocolate love letters, the various detergents, all these for $86+ RM.. wah... cheap.. only thing is.. carring back lor.. Heng we got Bro who drove in.

We also bought back quite a lot of DVD's leh.. at only $2.70 SGD each!! Wah.. I like got at least 7 of them.. can slowly watch... nt tm will take a bus in wif hubby and then we can go n watch movie at City Square and also buy DVD come back watch.. so cheap!!

In SG buy VCD also not so cheap! haha..

But on the way hm, the stopid M'sia police closed the major road back to SG, we had to travel for an additional 40 mins before we can come back to the causeway!! The tension was abit high in the car esp when Bro and the wifey squabble.. but I think pretty normal... it's wat hubby and me wld hv exchanged too.. so no big deal lor..

all in all, a bleh day for clothes but hay day for hse hold and entertainment lor..
and as any normal other Fridays, the nite ended with RICA.. but tonite.. the nite ended with "Tom Yang Goong" a.k.a "Tom Yam Soup" haha.. 1 of the many DVD tat I bought earlier.

Admist all the excitment at gng to Isetan Private Sale for the afternoon, we went there excited but came home disappointed!

Hai.. as usual it was crowded, we expected it to be crowded. But wat we din expect was the lack of choices of clothes.. sign.. we went with expectations to buy clothes, in fact mountains of it! But hai... I din manage to get a single piece of clothes, not even a top or a skirt.. Not anything! Hai.. so sad..

But even though I din spend any $ on clothes, I spent close to $300 on bags, wallet, household and facial.. Out of which 1/3 is spent on hubby's brand new Guess? bag. haha.. So today is v v v good le, I spent less than $200 on myself.

So on the good side, save $ lor.. Hopefully when we go M'sia JB tml, it will be better!

It's a shopping day..

Woah.. today IS the day.. where I go n shop till i gonna drop again later..

Isetan having private sale the whole of today.. but sucks.. coz i cancelled my approved leave.. I can only go to the sale later, in the afternoon. Hope there are still some good items left for Godma and me when we rush dw from work later..

Last year, we had such a good time! We met early in the morning, lesiure bf then make our way dw to Isetan then after a rnd of shopping, met up wif bro for lunch at Tony Roma's and then continue shopping. Such a good time!

Since we only meeting up at abt 1 pm so we will each hv our separate lunches and then meet for shopping..

I hope i dont overspend.. hai.. but yet the tempation of shopping is so great.. hahaha

mornings like this..

I'm not a morning kinda person and nothing irks me more than to wake up with the knowledge I have to go to work and the person sleeping beside me on the same bed don't have to wake up and best of all, don't have to get to work!

But Godma tells me, tonight, when I am sleeping, he will be working. So it's just different timing. True lar, but still morning is such a sian time to wake up. Though I must give thanks that I am blessed enough to be able to wake up and have a job.

And worse is that, after the squabble last nite, we both went to slp w/o patching up. Tat kinda feeling when wake up is the worse of all!

Relationships...

The word relationship is such a chore. It can bring much joy and happiness to 2 persons who are in love and yet bring about great misery to the same 2 persons in the next moment.

And yet, most normal ppl will have at least 1 relationship in their life. Some are lucky to finally settle down with the person they love and to set up a family on their own (which will lead to another kind and level of relationship). In a nutshell, humans have feelings and we are all involved in sme sort of relationship with one another ALL the time.

But when the time comes for a couple who is in love, sharing thick and thin for the last 10 years to split. The years of feelings, love, giving and taking does it become all too much to just end? Outsiders will and may say yeah, wasted, 10 years of hard work all ended up in smoke. But to the couple, split may be the best way out coz the relationship has soured so much making all the sweet history and memories nothing! Worse... a memory tat wished to be buried deep within and never to be taken out to be relished.

For such a couple, is splitting up the best way? I don't know and I don't wish to know. I pray that hubby and me do not ever have to come to this stage where we have to contemplate splitting up. Our wedding reading says, "What God has joined, man must not divide."

I am quite badly affected by BIL's breakup with YL. All along, I thought their re-ship is gng on strong. Somemore with journeying together for 10 years, I thought theirs is really a wedding bells a ringing in the near future.

What a shock for me when I heard about it. But what to do? This is their life, their journey and their cross to carry.

handicapped

A few days ago... as hubby and me were lazing in front of the google box and discusing if we shd join the blessed MLM tat Stanley is encouraging us to go in... Hubby said something... which both touches my heart and at the same time, somewhat sadden me. His exact words were, "I feel handicapped if you are not with me"

What's the meaning of handicapped? Let's take a look at what the dictionary says.

something that is wrong with your mind or body permanently
a physical handicap

not able to use part of your body or your mind because it has been damaged in some way

I think hubby meant the 'made difficult' by kinda handicapped rather than the physical disabilities.

His words touch and sadden me at the same time. I cannot help but feel touched that I mean so much to hubby. But yet, at the same time, I feel so sad that if one day I were to leave b4 hubby and leave him alone...

Dear Lord, please be kind enough to bestow strength on hubby shd I leave him first.

Woah... happy day is Sunday.. and happier is me! haha

After mass, went to coffee shop wif Emma, Jason and hubby. Jeffrey came to join us later too.. and we had so much fun teasing Emma saying that she shd consider Anthony.. haha another story lar.. let's see how it goes from here..

Then Jeffrey drove Emma, hubby and me to J8. I need to go to Gordano to change my belt and Emma is meeting her gal friend there. So we took the chance to shop arnd. Emma told me that there is a sale in Espirit and she has the VIP card and is entittled to another 10% off! Wah.. Good deal.. so we went in and I bought a black dress that I can wear to Lynn's wedding this Jun and also Christmas mass this year!! Goody! GOody!! haha

Then shop arnd sme mre but din manage to get much after that. I got 2 mre racer back t-shirts fm Baleno.. actually I prefer Samuel & Kevin but they no longer has it.. SO took Baleno instead. Same price lar.. just a bit of difference in the material. But then again, not much lar.

Changed my belt went to get snacks at SiLin at basement.. woah.. I still like their crispy egg wif pork floss.. Yummy yummy!! We had the crispy chicken too.. scoot into NTUC, got sme fruits and then went home.

Sme rme.. dinne @ my parents' plc tonite and I no need to cook.. Yippee!!

And the 2 of us are so hopelessly lazy.. we din do anything excpet throw the clothes into the machine and let it do it's job! haha..

Big Day of Nicholas and Jenny!! May the Good Lord bless them always and be the centre of their marriage!!

Weddings are a happy event. And even more so for the wedding couple. Looking at Jenny, I can remember those prep that we went thru ourselves.. haha.. Tears of joy and tears of gladness and of course all the arguements and sulking and compromises to each other in order to see thru the whole wedding.

Looking back, maybe there are some regrets that we din have a wedding dinner.. but that regret is not strong. I am still glad that we did not have a dinner. And I am doubly glad that we decide to hold our wedding in Church. The Mass being married and held in God's hse is so much more meaningful than having a dinner and then to shout "yam seng" all the way.

I enjoyed dinner.. but my pocket certainly did not. And the air con was like switch off.. So we feel hot most of the time. But Jenny is certainly photogenic.. her photos look wonderful! She's such a radiant bride!

Another MLM...

Finally we know the reason Y Stanley came to meet us today.. We found it strange that we came all the way to our hse then say go to Tanjong Pagar to eat.. and then on the way drop his son at his MIL's plc..

We just thought he want to spend mre quality time with us.. ha! but he brought us to this co call CosLab.. which is a slimming, facial and MLM rolled into 1.. Or rather.. MLM in slimming and facial.

Fm the way I look at it, the biz plans looks rather ok. The ppl there are as usual, the young punks.. sme driving BMW's. Also some look rather ah bengs lar. Especially the 1 who talked to us, 小黑. Sounds like those gangsters too.. anyway.. he talks ok lar. Fm what I manage to gather, he's in his late 20 or early 30. Mre likely early 30 lar, since he already divorce and may be planning for another marriage.

Wat still puzzles me is that, througout the whole session, I din c any products or hear of any products except in general terms - Slimming & Facial. He and Stan and another guy (cannot remember his name) assures me that they hv products downstairs and that if I am interested, can go n look c or hear. (The building is 3 storeys high).

To be honest, I am a tad interested. But also not v happy at being dragged down there to listen. Especially when they keep pushing us to sign and asking us, what reservations we have etc etc..

Hubby later confided in me, he want to tell them, we go hm n pray about it! And I feel the same way!

Now.. preparing for the wedding dinner.. Don't want to waste my brain cells thinking abt this.

Stanly called up at 10am++ tis morning while hubby and me are still in bed. Then after some "I call him, he din answer" phone calls, he finally call me back and said that he would like to meet up for lunch.

Was abit surprised.. but hubby already told me last nite.. so I was like good lor.. since we so long nv meet up except for that short visit during CNY.. Stan asked if I am cooking, told him I can cook pasta if he wants.. But his wifey says no.. she don't want.. so nvm lor, we'll go out for lunchy.. but we have to be back by 5pm coz still need to go for a wedding dinner tonite. He says he will be here by 12 noon.. but till now.. din c him yet..

While at the coffee shop earlier (after RCIA) the few of us, Anthony, Jason, Emma, Dora, Daphne, hubby and me had coffee there.

Just the normal chit chat and somehow the conversation turn to us, the couples.. Anthony was saying, he has observed the following...
Lynn & Max, Max is the 1 in ctrl.
Carmen & Gabriel, Gabriel is the 1 in ctrl.
myself and hubby, ME is the 1 in ctrl.

Not sure to laff or to cry on hearing this.. But I guess he is right lor. Coz I am mre outspoken and stronger in nature and hubby tends to listen to me lor. Not sure if this is good for him or not also..

Good mood liao =)

No wonder ppl say women's mood change like the weather! This morning was still in a foul mood coz of last nite and din even manage to have breakfast coz I burnt it and now I am feeling good already.

A drastic change within a few short hours, ya? My mood change for the better coz Godma advise me to not let this kind small thing take ctrl of me.. and also since hubby has msn me and told me he is sorry, I decided to take Godma for her words and let it pass.

What she say is v true, if i am gng to be so picky on all these small issues, and we are only married for 4 months, how to last for the next 30 years and more?? And so bearing all these in mind, decided to let it pass as soon as I made my pt to hubby and he apologised. =)

What is it with MEN tat they do not understand meaning and implications?!

Or is it just me who is too kan cheong and too easily irriated and too quick tempered and bad tempered?!!

Last nite (till NOW) had a tiff wih hubby. He is supposed to go to Godma's plc after work for sme meeting abt RCIA from his own grp. So he says he will be late coz the meeting is at 7.30 and he cannot rush over on time. Some more he still need to eat dinner, so told them will be late but will go over asap.

What irriated me was this, already told hubby to not go hm to change, but go directly to the coffee shop and hv dinner then go to Godma's plc.

He HAD to go home and change into shorts! -_-" Since he tell ppl that he will rush over asap then how can he hv the time to go back and change?! It doesn't look good on his part lor! Want to tell ppl rush means is really appear go there from work mar. Where got time to go n change?!

He told me, coz he took 851 and it passed by our hse 1st, so he went up to change then come down. Granted that it is on the way for him to go home, but then he will give the impression that he purposely go late for the meeting and also, he left me sitting at the coffeeshop for so long! Argg!! Now I am not very sure which 1 is more upsetting.. I think still the part that he went home to change.. the add on was that I had to sit there and wait for him for so long!

He know that I was upset, so he also din talk to me. Since he cannot understand what I am saying, I shall not say anything else. Told him, don't want to pick a fight so don't talk. We ignore each other through dinner.. after he finish eating, he just stand up and say he's gng off. I still ignored him lor. Too pissed for words.

I sleot early last nite, before he came home.. heck care. Then this morning, I was still so pissed, I burned my own bf!! Arggg!!! So no bf today!

Bad evening!

Sucks! Shd hv gone for my kickbox instead. Then don't have eyes to c hubby! He is soooooo.... (no words to descripe) Don't want to descibe also. Too bad mood to say abt this stopid husband of mine!

Went to Ang Mo after our silent dinner, grabbed milk and sme mantou for bf the next morning then went home.

Bathe and relax in front of google box.. almost fell asleep.. decided to go n slp and not wait up for him since I am still pissed.

Farewell lunchie

Had a farewell lunchie made up of KFC chicken and Pizza Hut Pizzas. A total of 8 of us were sharing in today's lunch by the poolside.. Lomantic lunch. =) The female lead for today is Shirlynn Su..

Actually din talk much with them, probably not very close and then sun so hot, so we just sit there and enjoy the view and food.

Rested for a while and then came back to office. Then there was a small excitment to see who is the one who gave her a pressie of earrings. It's silver, the kinda tat I like a while ago, long silver, dangling.. Don't know since when I don't wear silver so much anymore. I seem to have been wearing all those beads accessories recently.

The earrings very nice on her and I think she likes it too! Good for her, I gave her my tortoise earlier this morning and she had no problems guessing who coz I had my name written there.

Bel was sharing with me, she's gonna put her pressie in the toilet!! Haha.. wish I have a video cam to capture Shir when she goes to hunt for it..haha..

Overall quite a fun day for her.. Think she is in no hurry to forget her last day here in Campus!

In 2 minds now, don't know if I should go for kickboxing.. My neck still hurts a little.. but with all the food that I have been comsuming since Christmas.. think it is definately better for me to go and do some serious exc.. Another reason Y I am kinda dreading it is coz today is gonna be a tough session... tougher than last wk and I hear we are gng to have an assestment.. Ouch!!

U guessed it, today is my 26th Birthday! =) Slightly more than a quater of a century old.

Woke up the same time today and spent extra time to doll up.. Coz tonite gng for dinner wif hubby... though married, but must still take the time to doll up when he bring me go out! =)

Reached office and I found 1 pressie in my mailbox.. no name no nothing.. don't know who and then throughout the day, I found that there are different clues in my mailbox and I got to go and hunt for it..

2 of them were pretty easy to find... "where paper turns into noodles" that's by the shredder and also "at the one who is not here today" tat's at the cubicle of Eryn.. who so happends to be on MC today.

The other 2.. wow.. hard time! "sharpest corner of the office" most of the help that I got was by the paper cutter.. so I shall go there to find.. and the last "somewhere so near yet so far... seek and you shall find" so biblical some more..
Finally after lotsa clues and help, I manage to SEEK out those 2 pressies. The "sharpest" pressie was wrapped with white A4 paper slotted in between the copier and fax machine!! Argg...

The "Seeked" pressis wae hidden all the way in some heavy books.. hai.. finally I've manage to seek and find all then time to guess which pressie is from who.. This is not as difficult as I imagine.. coz I already manage to know 2 of the 5.

I really cannot find all the pressies so by the time we went for lunch @ swensens, I manage to get 3.. 2 others are still missing in action.

Lunch was good, had fish and chips.. and a "Firehouse Happy Birthday" I think on the house coz there were so many of us. They sang the "Happy Birthday" and I was kinda emprassed but not very lar.. haha

Came back to office at almost 3 and continue with the searching of pressies and the end result -
Michelle, kind soul who just left the pressie in my mailbox gave me a "Frome me to you bear" photo holder
Belinda, "noodles" pressie, a cute Precious Moment stationery holder.
Siti, "of the one who is not here", she's kind too, she told me to look higher and VOLIA, I saw it.. box of chocolates fit for HRM! woah!
Shir, "sharpest" pressies is a pair of HAND MADE earrings by she, herself!
Sil, "seek and you shall find" is a necklace... woo hoo..

good haul this year. haha and abvoe all, a brand new SWATCH watch from hubby.. which he personally put on for me and gave me at the stroke of midnight last nite!

By the time i finished opening all and thanking all, it was time to go home.. so i made my way to town, and dropped by at Girodano to see if I can get anything for myself. Wah.. so many things to buy... buy and try till we were almost late for dinner.

From Girodano, Orchard. We or rather I got the following:
white cavas belt with 3 hole lines PLUS
pair of jeans PLUS
a bright yellow top (considering to get the green and black too since I do not have a lot of tops) PLUS
black long sleeve mini jacket (which is the soooo in thing right now)
Hubby bought a black canvas belt with single row of holes for buckle
Total spendings: $117. 30 =) Nothing beats spending $$ =D

After the short shopping spree, we went to Hard Rock for dinner. Not tat crowded but doesn't matter anyway coz hubby booked a table for us. It's the atmpsphere of high class pub but ppl don't smoke inside. Thank God for that! They serve either hard liquor, wine, beers and also food and desserts.

We looked thru the menu and finally decided that we are not able to finish 2 main meals by ourselves, we decided to just order a side, one main meal and MUDPIE!! =)
But hor... v v v disappointing leh.. B4 we can even take a bite of our food, the waitress came and say that they have NO MORE mudpie.. Arggg... so disappointing!! I was saving space for that!

But hubby v nice.. he say nt tm we come back again just to eat the mudpie.. so swt of hubby to do that. haha.. so i also want to help him save some money.. we decided tat we will hv our "main course" elsewhere 1st and just to come in here for the dessert! haha..

Though we just ordered side and ONE main.. we had problems finishing up all the food. Portion is quite big and also coz we both had rather heavy lunch earlier. But just as well, the food not fanastic but rather pricy!

Sat there for quite sometime, enjoy the mood of the place, the music, hubby and also food. There were another 2 ppl there celebrating bday.. woah.. so many ppl also born don't know how many years ago on today.. haha.. I am but one of them!

There was also live music and singers but we left shortly after 9.15pm. Hubby really quite swt, he wanted to bring me to go and shop around to see if there's anything that he can buy for my Bday.. but coz we left HRC so late, the shops also closed. SO we just slowly scroll all the way the bus stop to catch the bus home.

Was so tired after that I fell asleep on the bus.. Not something which I have done recently but really dog tired. Gosh.. went to take some bread for tml's morning and we went straight home..

After a shower, feel better, but while hubby was massaging my neck (coz of that stiff neck I have for 2 days now) i again fell asleep on the sofa. Really cannot tahan anymore so decided to call it a night and go to bed.

No ECA for tonite.. too tired.. finally I think I can understand wat Bro means by "everyday also so tired, how to have ECA"!

Valentine celebration(s)

Went to CTK earlier and as wat hubby says, he did cover the topic on Valentine and he also added in Sacarment of Matrimony.

Before hubby arrived at AMK, I already went thru 1 rnd to get the items I needed.. Got him some sunscreen/block, got my foot scrub and cream and also other personal items. Had to go to 2 Guardian Pharmacy before I can get foot scrub! Hai..

We were abit late as hubby and I had dinner at AMK hawker centre. Quite disappointing coz the 'Tiong Bahru roast meat' is taken over by some other stall holder selling chicken rice.. sigh.. there's already so many chicken rice stalls! But doesn't really matter coz I had western food and hubby had char kuay teow.

Then we went to walk around for a short time. See some hp coz we both intending to change our hps. But the prices are out of our budget so we will still look around some more.

Then I saw this cute tortise that I thought will make a good and cute present to Shirlynn since Thursday is her last day in campus.

Met quite a few colleagues at AMK central.. surprisingly.. haha.. some were in home clothes others wld hv been walked over fm campus.

We din not expect the OGF to attract so many ppl and when we went into the canteen we din manage to find a good seat for the class so we make do and sat at the same table with Ken, Karen, James and Mabel. Felt abit like RCIA.. haha

Fr say quite a lot abt Matrimony and I did learn alot. It certainly put mre thoughts and also clarify some mystic questions that I had about marriage. Also again, it stres to me the importance of our marriage.

Fr Yim v nice.. he let us have the chance to renew our vows again.. It's really a memorable and warming to say our vows to each other again. The longest married couple was 28 years and here we are, 4 mths into our marriage.. wah.. alot of things to come and to learn and to go thru lor..

I feel that this is much better than to go out to jostle with the crowd for a table and then ppl bugging u to buy flowers and then me feel sad coz I no flowers. I really enjoyed the time spent in CTK tonite.

After tat took a cab home too tired and lazy to wait for bus coz we missed the previous 1.. then went to the bakery to get bread for tml's breakfast and then to get a AP.. then went home..

Bathe and settle down (again!) in front of google box. Then hubby v swt, he helped to massage my shoulers coz I probably din sleep well last nite, neck was stiff.

Then at the stroke of midnight, he went to take bday present for me.. =)

'V' is for Valentine and I am past the age or stage as to where we should be going tonight or if anyone will date me for tonite.

After all marriage does have it's purposes in this sense. haha

Tonite, we will be going to CTK for the monthly OGF session. To be fair to the priest, Fr Yim is really quite nice to us, he set up this class so that we can deepen our faith. Been quite sometime since I went.. Christmas lar, Mad hse lar, CNY lar.. just din have the time to go... or I am too tired to go.

Valentine's Day and we are back to CTK to listen to the priest talk abt Valentine.. I guess in a way it's good lar, at least we don't have to go out and fight for seats in restaurant and be hunted down or pestered by ppl selling roses and flowers and what other little lovey but useless things.

Not really a v romantic evening for such a highly commercialised romantic day.. but I guess, it's definately more meaningful ba.

1st day of lunch treat.

Monday is usually a blue day for me most of the time. But today not only am I feeling beautiful, I am feeling happy and not the slightest blue in any way!

Not because that someone is giving me birthday treats then I am so happy. (I am not such a glutton) but I am so happy because of WHO I am going to lunch with later! Bro Daniel and Godma. I always enjoyed their company. It's such fun to have lunch with the both of them. Sharing on every little thing and just forget about work and really just enjoy each other's company. That is the thing that I was looking forward to since this morning and I am so happy to be able to spend time with them.

They brought me to Vines restaurant. A small cozy place opp Novena church. The food good, price v reasonable. For the 3 of us, total bill was less than $48 inclusive of all the taxes and GST. Which will probably work out to $16 for each of us. We had fried calarmi and then I had Lamb Shank, Godma had kind prawn with grill fish and bro had Rib Eye steak. Good food with good company. Tat's the way I like it best!

Also had their freshly baked blueberry cheese pie.. wah!! Good! Sat and eat and yak.. then before we knew it, time to go back to office.. sigh..

Bro as usual sent us all back befor making the way back to office himself. Once we came back, as usual, we yak via msn. The whole of today in office we din do anything productive. I must say.

Yak and yak till it's netball time then we brought our barang barang and went off to the court. Hm... this is the 1st time that I have everstep foot onto the court and wah.. really is bad condition.. the ground is cracking up! Must be due to the lack of maintaince. Hm.. wat has estates been doing or what have they not been doing?

Started off with intro to each other and then jog arnd the court for 2 rounds which in my opinion is not enough, I can still breadth easily even after the 2 rounds, she have run a bit mre. Cannot remember when was the last time I ran also.. anyway... after tat, we practised our footwork, then some passes and then we hv a mini game.

The whole training did not last till 9pm as mentioned ar.. but still I thought it was none of the training I was used to. Today's training is really too basic for me. Though I sweat a lot but felt I hardly exc. hm.. wonder if the captain can make it slightly tougher.

Wah... today is a good day... ppl are all trying to buy me lunch..

Earlier this week, Godma and Bro alraedy says they will buy me lunch on Monday. Then just before lunch, Aw also msn me asking me when I am free for lunch, and after lunch, Bel also msn me.. wah!!

Good week huh... I have at least 3 good lunch to look forward to for next wk. Hubby promised to bring me to hard rock cafe for dinner.. so that makes it 3 good lunch and 1 good dinner!

Y the special treatment right? Coz next week is Vday!! Haha.. no no.. coz nt wk is my Bday.. the day immediately after Vday is my bday... =) So my good friends are giving me a treat lor.. haha..

Just called hubby, coz he is at work now but he is taking cab back home, so he will soon bian go to his mum's plc to pick up the steamboat and hot plate machine (after we used it for reunion dinner) then come to fetch me.. happy leh.. At least I don't have to walk all the way to the YCK interchange to take bus home!

And also, today I've finally finished writting all the letters to the cats.. 3 of them, each of them will have 4 letters if all the sponsors remember to write. It's been so long since I last pick up a pen and literally write letters.. Gosh.. tiring leh.. What i did was draft it out then after that re-write it 4 times!! Y 4 though there's only 3 right? Coz the 1st letter my handwritting was too big... 1 piece not enough so had to re-write to make it smaller lor. Had to go to the bookshop to buy a piece of paper for it as well.

Overall, quite happy with the letter lar, done and completed, sealed with love too! haha

My shoulders especially are aching with all those workouts from my kickboxing last nite! Goodness.. So tiring. Philip warmed us up with skipping.. within mins, most of us are tired out and the actual program has not even started!!

He look at us and said:"I can see that most of you have not excerised for a long time" I am one of them lar.. but last nite's class was pretty small.

My legs were like jelly at the end of the session and it still feels abit like jelly.. gosh..

Tml is Sat and Ta Ge and gang are coming to my plc for steamboat.. after that it's sun, to go to my Kai Ye's plc then Monday.. and I have netball practise!! =S

Feeling lazy

I'm feeling pretty lazy now... after all the festive celebrations, eating and merry making, and the previous mth of slogging my head off, I am feeling lazy and not in the mood to get back to work. Horriable!!

Had a sch visit this afternoon, well behaved girls and the teachers and parents were v cooperative as well. So all went well. But the SDN students gave me a fright yesterday with a sudden phone call that they hv some briefing that they have to go.. Luckily tat was settled!

Somemre, I kinda dreading tonite.. coz tonite I have kickboxing.. after stopping for more than 2 mths, I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD to tonight's session... =(

darn tickers!

Darn it!!! The whole day I'm trying to palce a ticker on my blog and I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO DO IT!!!

I tried pasting it on top, below, in between the lines everywhere!! But everytime I looked at my blog, it's not the way I want it! The upper half will always be blocked by the darn navi bar!!!

Then! A bright spark came into my brain.. I think it is caused by the template, so I changed template!! And VOILA!!! It workes!!! Now I have my ticker on my blog.. =) happy..

NFP

Had my NFP wif Shirley in CTK. Been sometime since I last went to see her. Coz was so busy with the mad hse and things, din have the time nor the mood to go and see her lor.

As usual, she says my cycle is not too good for the month of Nov.. coz though I had sensations but my temperature shows that I did not hv a good cycle i.e did not ovulate. And IF we are trying for a BB, chances are it will not happen. When I heard this, I am not so sure if I shd be happy or unhappy.. coz we are NOT trying for BB but the thing is... if my cycle carries on to be so erm... un-cooperative that means, we will have problems when we WANT to hv BB.

Then looking at my Dec and Jan cycle, she says it's a good cycle with all the necessary up and down in temperature and the right sensations.. haha.. so all is not lost yet.. Maybe in Nov, something not quite right with my body.

Today must be the shortest session I hv with her. By 8.30 pm, we are done. She pronouced me "Graduate" and that I won't have to come and see her so often. Telling me to call her as and when when I need help. Good!!

She also asked me if I am keen to be a NFP trainer.. to be honest, I not so keen lar, coz I feel that this is hard enough when I am the person gng thru it. And I don't feel confident that I am getting or doing it right. So how to teach ppl? She says will have training but I feel that I am chewing off too much. Maybe it is time for me to back step a little.

Surprisingly, 162 did not take that long to come.. and best part is, I had the same bus driver when I went to CTK and now on the return trip as well. Not a everyday occassion leh. haha

Hubby was already having dinner when I was on the bus, but he came down all the same and we took bread fm the bakery for tml's bf. Took our showers and then laze in front of the google box for the night.

Din do much.. so not tat tiring.. but still when the nite comes, my eyes will automatically want to close.. so tat's it for the nite.

window shopping day

After mass, we went shopping.. actually was planning to go to Alan's hse to bai nian and to give my 2 nephews AP but kinda like out of the way we decided to go and buy my Bday present instead =)

We took 162 from opp CTK and went all the way to Raffles City from there walked over to Marina Sq. Had a good lunch in Billy Bombers... I say the food is so so only not fanastic but ok lar. The dessert - ice cream was yummy though.. =)

Walked arnd in the hopes of searching for a clock for our home.. wow then we realise Marina changed quite a lot! Now it's full of teens on 1 wing and the other wing is mre family and home life style..

A few clocks from Molecule caught my eyes.. both hubby and me wld like to have it in our home but unfortunetly, each piece costs like $200?! Too expensive for a home clock in our opinion.. so we decided to look for other pieces.

A new branch of Bridal Concept is there as well and we met the boss, Stella there also. Not much ppl there, in my opinion, it's a good plc to maybe neg for your package coz no crowd but to try on gowns and for fittings, I think better go back to Liang Seah St.

Wondered into some hm concept stalls their things are pretty but we dont hv the kinda space to accencuate it's beauty so it's just look c and window shopping. Nothing much caught our attention but it is good to be able to wander arnd freely with just hubby and enjoying each other's company.

Since we are done at Marina Sq, we went over to Suntec... the crowd is always there as usual and we also window shopped. Coz nothing much to buy lor.. Just walk arnd to pass time.. haha

Finally I decided to get the swatch watch instead of the Guess? watch that I've been aiming for so long... Even though I still prefer the Guess? watch, I decided on the swatch coz the Guess? is all last piece at the shops I went to, even in the Guess? boutique... also mre expensive lor.. So forget it lar, get swatch, cheaper and mre later design. Hubby promised me tat he will give me the bal of $260 after the watch for my up and coming holiday with Godma in Chiang Mai, Thailand. =) better than wasting all the $ on the watch lor.. in my opinion.. haha The $260 is coz, it is a Vday and Bday gift... after married... now is $ best, no need for too much fanciful items lor..haha

But on the other hand, I think this watch is mre like Vday present.. coz just the other day, hubby went to trade in his old G-shock and paid $118 for another piece. I paid for that piece, so now he buy me this watch mre like Vday rather than for my bday present leh =( no bday present... sad..

Then we went to carrefour, they were having household items on sale... quite good buy, so we also went to buy lor.. aluminium foil at $2 and $1 (depending on the length) the plastic wrap, hangers, clothes pegs etc etc and also sme daily cotton panties for myself.. Total costs was onlu $23+ wow.. really good to buy all these items when they are on sale!

Tired from all these shopping, we went to Mac for a drink and to rest... the moment we went in, we felt right at home.. the decor was v cozy and nice.. then hubby said something.. he say that the walls look like our kitchen cabinets! Then it suddenly strike me.. Yup!! IT'S THE SAME!! Shade and all! Even their raise partitions looks like our table top! haha No wonder we felt "right at home".

As we rest, there was this little boy mayb abt 1 year plus, eating fries...with 5 fingers... yucks.. then after tat, with the same hand, he began to touch his face, his head, his pram, his clothes.. everywhere!!! EEEEE.. makes everything so oily after that.. BUT! It was great fun watching him lor.. haha

Also a couple of pretty girls were beside us, 2 of them were planning to get married and was sharing details of WG etc etc... boy... i'm glad my turn was over! Another 2 girls were wearing mini skirts... but not v pretty.. hahaha and i think it is the trend now... carrying Mickey Mouse bags.. Then came this "couple" the girl was wow... long hair, pretty, sexy and following closely behind is this "guy" (who looks like a girl lar) so i think it is 2 girls.. 1 very pretty the other dresses like a guy... hm... how come this kinda trend is increasing also?

Rested enough then we walked back to the MRT stn... we cld hv taken bus, but coz I want to go to "Prints" to chk out their photo albums, we took MRT.. wha.... so expensive.. so din get also.. hai...

How come thigns are so expensive in SG? =(

Window shopping day but din buy much except for house hold.. hai..

Lo Hei! Lo Hei!!

Lo Hei day for me! It's also part of the chinese to eat Lo Hei on 7th day of CNY. But then again, as long as CNY, almost everyday is an excuse to eat Lo Hei!

To put in a nutshell, Lo Hei are mainly veg wif lots of other auspicious items mixed together. Half the fun of eating Lo Hei.. the is "Lo-ing" where all the ppl will stand rnd the dish and each will try to mix the veg as high as possible saying all sorts of good things.. then when the veg and the ingredients are well mixed, it't time to dig in!

It's also a bz day for hubby and me. Had my colleagues come over in the afternoon for popiah party... (which is y I was preparing the ingredients yesterday!) Surprisingly, Aw was the earliest to reach, followed by Shi Yun, followed by Irene and her bf, Mel. The last to arrive were the following, KAN EE MAY, ONG ZHEN LING and TAN BENG YONG! Goodness, lunch was supposed to start at 1pm, by the time the 3 latecommers arrive, all have left except for Aw. So it's like -3+3, brings back to the same number of ppl who are here.

When the finally came, we gave them a loud cheer to express welcome..haha.. they they went into y they took so long to come.. 1) EM overslept 2) BY took them onto the wrong bus 3) they refused to take a cab down from wherever they are..

There were so much food left over that we had to play silly games to force mre food dw each other's throat... but it was fun lar... really enjoyed myself with them. After such a heavy lunch, we settled dw to play Blackjack.. This gambling thingy is so common among us chinese, especially during the CNY period. Everyone will gamble somehow, some day.

They stayed for quite a while.. till abt 6 where we took sme group photos and things then after tat they each went on their way coz my 2nd grp of friends, who comprises of my Godma and family, Bro Daniel and family as well as hubby's Godpa (w/o family!) Don't get me wrong, not tat he has no family just that he din bring them lor.

Another rnd of Lo Hei and then mre popiah for the day. I think it has really been a super super long time ago that I ate so healthily for lunch and dinner. As we all know popiah only consists of veg and muang kuang. V little of anything else.

But too much of the good things still not tat good after all... ate soooooo much veg today... popiah x don't know how many rolls... Lo Hei x 2 times... (not to mention last nite in CTK, we had home made Lo Hei for refreshment too) so the whole day, intake are all veg... healthy system within me starts today!

After dinner, we just snack (food again!) at the dinning table and then chit chat.. before long, another round of blackjack... Bro's son, Jarren.. wah lau... has the makings of a pro gambler.. before he takes each card, he will peep and then blow or say a prayer or whatever... his voice was really loud especially when he got all excited and start shouting it really peirece my ears.. while we were playing, Bro's girl, Chole was jumping on my sofa -_-" hai... Y does kids like to do that? No idea... but I cannot take it. So i just call her name and stare at her and she stop... I think this is the "if looks can kill" stance of mine that hubby always comment on lor..

Haha... after all these, we are dead tired... but after they left, I vaccumm the floor while hubby mopped up. So not so bad lar.. He helped arnd the hse and we manage to get things done rather fast.

Enjoyable day for all I assume, I had fun, best is coz this is at my home, I can do whatever I want and leave as late as I want.. coz din have to travel. The only thing not good is we got to clear up lor.

V fast, CNY is already more than half gone. Every year, we hv sme kinda gathering wif Godma and Bro. But this yr, we added in hubby's Godpa partly coz in this way, we can grow closer and also coz we were hoping Godpa's wife can influence Bro's wife to the christian community.. well.. c how lar.. things are in HIS ctrl.

Wah... today, I have turned into the chef! Coz preparing for 2 popiah parties tml takes time, so today is the day where I prepare the ingredients with the help of Godma who is working in office!

Whenever I run into problems or doubts, the first person I think of is Godma.. and our typical calls will go like this...

me: Hello, Godma ar.
Godma: Hello,yar. What?
me: I shelling the prawns now. How do you want me to cut ar?
Godma: Slice it lor.
me: huh? Slice? means cut straight down?
Godma: no lar, tat 1 is call diced lar. Slice is erm.. aiyah.. how to tell u?
me:???
Godma: U don't know wat is sliced?
me: Dont know lar.
Godma: er... normally when u cut the knife faces down right?
me: yar..
Godma: then put ur knife in erm.. sleeping position and cut as thinly as u can.
me: so the prawns are in the shape of the 'C' lar... cut out still like tat lar?
Godma: yar..
... ...

wah.. never knew cutting / slicing prawns also so much yan jiu.. and this is not the only thing. Had to slice the lap cheong at an angle... and eggs got to mash... and luckily tat's all.

But!! Alone on slicing prawns and slicing lap cheong, took me a day! Guess.. I'm not so great a chef after all..

CNY still or SGH day??

I kinda lost track which day of the Lunar day of CNY is today.. but to me it doesn't make any difference, coz it seems like a day in SGH!! My goodness!!

I am wondering if ppl actually keep to their appointments. ESPECIALLY in the case of SGH specialist clinics, a certain clinic something something..

Mum had 2 appointments today, 1st at clinic A and the other in clinic something something.. Being the typical Singaporean, we are KIASU and thus went there early and thus was the 1st in the 1st clinic. Good?! U bet, coz we'll be the first! Unfortunetly, the doc is someone who KNOWS how to keep time! She came on time. So though we were early, we got to wait till our appointed time at 2.50pm which equals to an hour plus of wait!

2nd appointment is at the clinc something something... gosh... tat clinic is crowded. Singaporeans has lotsa ENT problems, i came to this conclusion owing to the huge crowd and long queue.

Appointment time is at 3.55 pm or thereabouts... and guess what?! We only managed to c the blessed Dr Goh at close to 5.30pm!!! Arggg!!! Today my precious leave is spend in SGH.. hai..

I hope this Dr Goh is good, he told my mum, instead of the blesed operation, y don't he just do a simple procedure (goodness knows what it is called) similiar to that of taking blood samples... except that this time the bloody needle will be poking into the lump at my mum's throat. Waited for so long, of course must take mre time with the doc to make up for it! haha... so anyway, the Dr just withdraw the whatever it is in the lump from my mum's throat. Gosh!!! The effect is immediate!!! I can c the lump shrink!! It's still there but not so big anymore.

If it is just so simple, y din he take it out the last time?! Y must make my mum stay in the hospital for a week? Y must operate?? Gosh i tell u... nothing can descripe the question marks in my head... and just coz we are paying lesser means the service is so horriable? Got to come back more often? Goodness, we are Singaporeas! It's bad enough that we don't have special privallges... but hey... medical is impt to all! Stepts shd be taken to provide better service and LESS wastage of ppl's $! We go to gov hospitals coz of the costs mar. If we can afford, of course go to the high end hospitals! sucks!!!

Anyway... pay $ also got to wait... sigh... after leaving the blessed hospital, I wanted to go to IKEA to buy water jugs, large plates and whatever household items I need.. Since my mum has NEVER set foot there, I persuaded her to go with me.. if not next time ppl say IKEA, she will be so mountain turtle! haha..

Took the MRT from Outram to Queenstown and then take another bus in. I think my mum is really quite mountain turtle, she has never set foot in.. so anyway, we each bought a couple of items..

She bought a side table (which ppl normally use beside their sofas) for her precious plants at home.. 1 nice looking pot for (again!) her precious plant. Sisscors, a pack of hooks and a weighing scale (the scales looks good and the price is so cheap $5.90 only!) If not for the fact that I already have one at home, I'll get one too!

While for me, I bought 2 big plates (same series to those that we are already using), a pack of hooks and a roll of plastic drawer mat. Yep, that's all i bought.. coz I can't find a satisfactory water jug.. but I forgot to buy some air tight containers.. =(

While at the pottery section, (where my mum got her pot) I saw some nice vases.. It has been on our minds to get a HUGE vase to be place beside the fridge but we haven't got round to doing it... Coz i always feel if we were to buy such a huge 1, then how to bring home? Either the vase or a standing floor lamp.. Lamps are expensive, wastes electricity, so we most likely will go with the vase at the end of the day... Just don't know when lar.

Took the bus back with my mum. I think my mum really pampers my youngest sis too much. Called home and ask wat she wants for dinner and call her BB! My sister is already 16 for goodness sake! Anyway... the ride hm was rather fast gng by the fact that we were on PUBLIC transport.

Planned to meet hubby at the bus stop, dumped all the barang barang at the bakery and then hubby and me went off to catch another bus to J8.. where we went for dinner and then to get a present for Shir.

Too hungry to go shopping, so we went to the hawker above the bus interchange for a late dinner. We had bak chow mee pok dry.. mine had chili while hubby's din hv.. I like it =) had a bowl of veg soup along with it.. Yummy yummy.. (think I'm gonna grow fat from all these eating)

Rushed thru it then went to get a present.. too many things... and din really know wat to get.. finally settle on a MICKEY MOUSE bag for her... cheap too... Only $12 =) happy with my purchase, went to get wrappers and back to the bakery we went, to collect our barang barang and also take some bread for breakfast for tml.

Though most of the day was spent waiting for the Dr... it was v tiring... goodnes... waiting is tiring!!

Thank God, tml is Friday and I am STILL ON LEAVE =D

1st day of Feb 2006

First day of February 2006 marks the 4th day of CNY and also marks the countdown to my next bday.

Most ppl wld have begin to get back to work but not for hubby and me. Guess we are really 2 lazy bums. Both of us took leave and we literally laze and do nothing at home. Now that we have our own roof above our heads, we seem to have lost interests in gng out.

Back to the days when we were dating, as long as holiday or on leave or anything, we will be outta of the hse as soon as we are ready to get out... (most times is waiting for me to finish dolling up) But now, we became or rather I became so homely, I can hardly recongnise myself! Ha!! Mum will be sooo surprised to hear and see that we are lazing at home on a glorious day like today!

Come to think of it, I cannot even remember wat we had been doing the whole of today! Gosh... getting old already?! Tat's too fast for comfort!

I think we literally spend the day snoozing in front of the google box. Then we took a nap, was waken by Trina's sms and then we went to bathe (wheather together or separately, that is a secret!) haha

Then I remembered Trina and her Kel came to our hse to just look c and sit down, went thru our wedding photos and then chit chatted for a while and then we went off together.

Coz we were meeting Yuin at PS at abt 7.30pm, and hubby and I wanted to go to Spotlight to get some hse hold items we went early. After making a last min reservation at Manhattan Fish Market, we went to walk arnound. Luckily we made the reservation as soon as we arrived! Coz by the time we got Yuin's sms tat she's here, the queue was long!! Gosh.. Singaporeans and food...

Hm... Manhattan Fish Market is somewhat similiar to Fish & Co. Mayb coz I had eaten fm Fish & Co I find Manhattan nicer. But again, it's to each his own coz Trina preferred the Fish & Co while the rest of us prefer Manhattan. It cld be the impressive fire grilling the prawns wif cheese right there and then... Or it could simply be coz it's new... But whatever the reason, we had a good dinner =) of praws, fish, rice, oysters and fries. Yummy Yummy!! Will go back again when there's a chance. Best part is, for the 5 of us the bill came out to be less than $100!!! Tat's really a hard to get price leh. On the average, each of us spent less than $20 for a restaurant meal!

During dinner, we chatted abt marriage, kids, hse.. all of these, Yuin, myself and hubby has experience to share. Only Trina and Kel can't share lor.. Coz they not there yet, but the 3 of us has lots to talk abt.. While the 2 of them listen, they also had doubts that they can clarified and be answered and just listening also can learn something lar.. I hope.. haha I think they shd be able to get something outta of it lar... coz they want to get a re-sale flat in their parents' area. Lucky for them, both parents stay in the same area. Not so good is that, they only hv 1 area to chosoe from lor. They this couple also quite cute lar... say want to stay in the midpoint of parents.. must chun chun midpoint... think got to go n get measuring tape and start measuring liao lor.. haha

After dinner, coz of the time, we din go anywhere lor, immediately went back to the car, luckily stay near to each other, so we can all go hm the same way, only Yuin different, want to give her a ride also hard.. she stay JURONG!!! Gosh.. the other end of SG leh!

Back in the car, we just chatted lor... but hai... mum called and asked me to bring her my ez link card coz she gng out.. tat sort of created a little tiff between hubby and me. He seems to think that my mum shd call my sis to go and pass to her at the bakery and that I unduldge in her too much. But hey... we are on the way home.. will pass by the bakery, so it's ok mar.. BUT!! I do agree wif hubby tat my mum does bully me too much.. hai...

But the strange part is hor... my mum has this kinda hold over me.. she never does it to my sisters.. and neither will I allow hubby to do this to me leh..

CNY day 3

wah.. so fast, 3rd day of CNY liao.. had a tiff wif my mum last nite and I wanted to not go to my uncle's plc today.. but wat she says makes sense coz every year they come to my mum's plc but this yr coz my mum unwell, she cancelled so tat brings us to go to my uncle's plc in Sembawang, Woodsilve.

Gave her a face when i saw her, refuse to acknowledge her pressence.. v bad hor.. but don't care lar. haha

Had a light lunch, sat for a while then we went back to my PIL's plc for another rnd of lunch. Wonder how much food has been gng into my stomach for the last couple of days.

After that, went home.. tat silly hubby of mine!! Argg... left his keys at his parents's plc. After we reach our blk, when he was trying to reach for his keys, he discovered it!!! Argg!! So he took a cab back home to take keys and take a cab back!! Waste of $.. there i was trapped outside our door, at the void deck, cannot even sit down on the stone table & seats to wait coz the cleaners were washing and in an urgent need to go toilet!!! As if it's not bad enough, hubby took my hp coz his was low bat!!! Argg!!

Finally he came back.. i was so fuming mad but i think he shd hv the grace to feel guilty, so i just told him nt tm, don't empty out his pockets! *sigh*

Had a shower n zzz for a while.. but before i even hv a chance to zzz mum called wif a v angry & pissed tone asked y i say not gng back for dinner anymre... i wanted to tell her coz i pissed lor.. but din, just say friend coming. She HANG MY PHONE!!! Gosh.. Today is really really not my day!!!

Anyway... to cut the whole darn story short, I just say ok, will go ov after friend left.

Stanley came at abt 6.. and from 6 onwards, I keep getting sms fm xiao mei to go over... heck.. i din bother. When Stan and his family left.. (his boy, Javier is really adorable.. wear my bedroom slippers and walk rnd my plc.. haha) we walked over.

Made us hurry and also not in time to start dinner wa! Mum's sister also not here yet. Don't know she kan cheong wat! Win lor..

Anyway, dinner was good... had shark's fins soup, pepper crap and some other dishes bought fm the chi zha stores.. had a good dinner.. and laze in front of google box again..

a good ending to a not so good day i guess... praise the Lord for it though!

Tml is the end of the CNY holidays.. but happy and lucky me, on leave for the rest of this week! haha

CNY

First Day of CNY really give AP till we blur... first stop was to my granny's then after lunch there.. which isn't v good, we took a bus and went all the way to Yishun to hubby's granny's plc.

Thank goodness, we were one of the few who reach early, means that I dont hv to go in and start calling loads of ppl who look foreign to me! SO anyway, this time rnd is hubby's job to give AP.. all the kids look the same to me, hubby give better, coz he has seen them from young. haha

Sat there, feeling bored and then had dinner... finally we were able to go off! Went hm, took a quick shower, rested in front of google box for a while and then out again.. coz we went to watch 'Huo Yuan Jia' at Bishan. Not too bad coz with HSBC card, there is a $1 off every ticket.. but gosh!! When I went to collect my tickets, the queue were so long!! Was kinda afraid that we could'nt get in in time. But tks to rather effecient staff, we manage to make ourselves comfortable before the show starts.

Not too bad lar the show... if nothing to do and too much $ can go and watch lor.. haha..

Hubby quite swt.. he carried a big bag and put in my fav. pillow.. so even during the show, i cld hug it!! hahaha.. 1st time i brought my pillow out wif me. haha.. wonder if my neighbour can smell my ba wu.. hahaha

Day B4 CNY...

This year, CNY is the 1st time we gave AP.. coz married liao mar.. but i tell u, giving AP not v fun.. Give till v luan. haha.. too many ppl, kids, cousins and goodness knows who else!

But all in all, this yr CNY not as hectic as previous years! Coz this yr, my mum decided to not hv CNY at her plc. So it saves me lots of AP and also no need to go n clean up the hse.. but then again, I got to clean up my own hse! haha

Had reunion dinner at PIL's plc this year.. we had steamboat after gng for CNY mass in CTK. Gosh.. ate so much so that we had problems moving. Had sake yu sheng n lots of other kinds of balls.. don't know wat.. just eat.. then settle dw to watch TV.

After that, we just went home to continue snacking and to prepare for the First Day of CNY tml.

Quiet day in office

Last day of work before the CNY holidays come and I am totally moodless to get my butt and hands for that matter to work!

Ever since after the mad hse period, came back on Monday drag my feet to follow up with some of the items and then I am totally moodless to work.

Half day off on Wed and Thurs afternoon... Wed went with Godma and Bro to chinatown to soak in the CNY feeling. So fun and not that crowded. V good. Then yest went home to take a short nap and clean up the place a bit and then to out to meet hubby at Suntec.

The only thing that is abit sian is that since last week, was trying to get a watch coz hubby says he will buy me a watch for my VDay and Bday together lor. Saw the Guess? watch but it's always last piece here and there and the design is rather old liao.. so still thinking to get or not to get. Then yesterday, saw anothe watch fm Swatch. Not bad.. just not my kinda watch. But it is a pretty piece. $ is also v reasonable. So how ar? Still dont know to get which piece.

Anway, back to today, i think I can count the number of ppl who is in with 1 hand. Tat shows alot ya? Everyone is so CNY mood and tat includes me of course!! haha

Just cannot wait for the time to pass faster where I can go home and then to RCIA and then to countdown to CNY eve!

This year will be the 1st time that I am having reunion dinner at PIL's plc... will be bringing yu sheng and a chestnut cake dessert that I manage to discover from Chinatown.

Now the next question is to go for mass tml or on Sunday.

Boy oh Boy... me feeling the CNY mood.. happy leh!!

And today, I'm on half day PM leave to go to Chinatown to soak up more of the CNY feeling.. haha Will be meeting Godma and Bro for a quick lunch then after that go walk arnd Chinatown liao.

Wonder what can I buy and what to buy?? hahaha.. later go n spend $ shiok!! I love spending $$... but hate the paying of credit card bills part lor.

Hubby today told me to buy him the sugar gummy sweets.. he like a small boy like to eat this kinda stuf.. haha.. ok lar.. to make him happy so that I can get my Guess? watch and maybe Chiang Mai trip... please him lor.. hahaha

ALso this morning, I also very happy lar, besides settling most of the work for this WHOLE week, I called up the Maybank and request for wavier of my annual fees. The lady say ok, as long as from now onwards, i have 24 transactions per year.. THis 1 easy lar.. hahaha..

Save me $30!!! TO go n buy more things.. hahaha

All those OT moments, busy as a bee moments, hectic and breadthless moments are ALL over!!! Hooray!!!

My mad hse for this year is finally finally OVER!! I'm so happy!!! Now I dont have to deal with the calls, the students briefings, the last min changes, more sec schools calling in to change this and that and goodness knows what else!!!

I can finally settle down and relax a bit and prepare for my CNY =) It really is a happy moment to be celebrated. hahahaha

Okie dorkie.. Time to knock off... din accompolish much but still happy lar.. hahaha.. at least can go off on time!

3rd and FINAL day!!! Yipee

Hooray.... Final day of Open House.. But sian lor... Sat and I am back in campus... Some more whole day.. But nvm lar.. I think i can claim off in lieu somewhere someday lar..

Shd be a rather relaxing day lar.. since there won't be any buss in visitors.. only got walk ins.. shd be ok ba..

Sme mre... Today will hv mre ss helpers.. shd be ok... anyway, already survived the first day.. this is no sweat liao lar!!!

Got some idols coming in later... so will expect the visitors to surge lor.. but shd be managable wan lar.

2nd day of misery =S

Today can smile abit liao... we survived the 6000 bussed in visitors yesterday.. today is half the number.. if yesterday we survived, today not a problem liao lor.. =)

Rushing off to command centre... update another time.. But hey hey... today is the 2nd day and at this time tml, it will be NO problem liao lor.. hahahaha

Today is the start of ALL my misery... hai.. this stopid Open House... More like mad house...

As I am writting this, I am silently cringing inside.. coz of the 6000 visitors we are expecting later..

I really have no idea how we are gonna manage it and I even had a nightmare early this morning..

But get thru it we must... and just leave it to God at this moment in time liao lor..

Briefing, Briefings and MORE Briefings!!!

Briefing yesterday, today and next week!! Yesterday 1 session, today 4 sessions!! Goodness, I am gng to loose my voice if this carries on (b4 the mad hse!!!) Argg....

Repeat and repeat the same thing over and over. Shout and talk shout and talk and say the same thing over and over till I am quite sick of it myself! How on earth can i do this over and over?

I certainly hope the students who are listening to me or the others know and remember what on earth they need to do!!! Gosh... Looking at the way they behave... I certainly pray for the best.

In kinda forget how the sunset looks... havent been gng home before 7 pm anyway..


I dont care.. tml i am gng to go off sick... real or otherwise!!! I'm gng to c the doc early in the morning then go off on MC and then HAHAHA go SHOPPING wif Godma!!! after a good lunchy wif Bro 1st, of course since we din hv chance to go for Chirstmas luncy. Hahahaha.. of course this is hush hush lar.. cannot let any1 know!!!

Finally on the way home ...

Woah... today is a rainy day... since last nite rain till tonite still raining.. wah.. n admist all the water, thunder & lighting, my mum is discharged today... made my way there in the rain. Hubby din go coz he went back to office to work.. sucks right! Sunday!!!

By the time i reach there, my youngest sis and my mum's good friend were already there... then another long wait.. nurse say wait for doc and med.. hai... waste of my time... luckily I brought along the German Suduku mag to idle away time.

Sometimes i really cannot stand my mom. Early this morning.. well.. not so early lar.. arnd 10.. called and told me that she can be discharged... I was getting ready to go CTK and then tell me almost a sob story of she being discharged in hospital the previous times and non of the family members come only this good friend come and that now tat we so big she getting discharged we shd go.. sucks lor.. she will only tell me this and not to my other sis. At times like this I really feel that i hate her lor!!! Gosh!! I hv 2 other sisters, granted that the youngest 1 is still too young but I hv a sister in the UNI!!! Argg!!!! Just coz I do not raise my voice and give her a face to c, she sort of like 'bully' me i feel. Hai...

Anyway, she is already at home and resting lar.. hope that no more visits to the hospitals.. but I think no chance lor.. coz her Op still got to be schuduled lor.. sigh...

Went for mass at 5.30 pm and met Kenneth.. sat nt to him.. and he was surprised to me alone lor.. hahahaha...

3rd home in SGH??

Hai... coz of my mum's sudden admittance to SGH, I seemed to be running there like every alternate days?! This kind of visits is really irriating! Esp when u c her lying there and she is ok just that the stopid doc, nurses seems to be taking happiness in keeping there as long as possible and after all the tests n scans n X-rays, there is nothing being said or told to us.

Whenever we asked, we are told to wait!! Goodness.. got to wait how long more? She has already been here for almost a week! And we also decided to not upgrade her bed since the moment we upgrade, we got to pay more right from DAY 1! What for waste the $ on this kinda hospital right? Continue to stay in class C then!

Raining when i went there earlier. She seems ok but on drip.. coz she said since midnight last night din eat anything till 3 pm today? Y? Coz wait for the scans n x-rays!!! Gosh... waited so long and w/o food... no wonder she feel weak! N now got to put on drip. More costs lor.

Mum still in SGH. Doc says lump in throat is ok.. mothing serious = not cancerous. Priase Lord. But cavity in lungs n need mre tests.. These few days are tests, tests wait wait.. sian leh..

When on earth can she get out of the darn hospital?!

N meanwhile, me stuck at work coz so many things of mad hse to do! But i finished it liao lar... staying here n writting blog.

1st day of 2006 ...

Well, today is the 1st day of 2006 and guess where i spent the night? Not in the arms of my hubby as I wld love to, but in SGH!!! =(

Hai.... mum called at 1.30+ am n says tat her lump @ throat is painful.. want to go c doc... but hello, countdown n parties n holidays where got doc?? SO i told her either Tues or A&E now.. She say now.. ok lor.. changed and went out wif hubby lor..

Took a cab to SGH A&E & wait lor.. hai... fm the 2+am we reached all the way till 6am!! Gosh.. I can literally feel my eye bags n panda eyes!!!

No mood to write anything... update another time..
